Time for my yearly journal *wheeze*

Everytime I post these I'm like " I'm now over here!" and change my socials but weirdly enough other then DA, this is the only account where I've never left or changed.

Honestly, the day that I can schedule posts here is the day I *thrive* cause I can't remember to upload anything for SHIT.

So it's time for my bi yearly art dump and to let everyone know I'm still around. I do lurk and fave things and y'all incredible to keeping up with my shenanigans.

So fun facts - I'm back online cause I was made redundant *again* so I don't have a job in two weeks.

I've stopped selling my art at conventions and online so if you bought any it's now super exclusive

It's pretty much routine now that I upload and then disappear for months.

I'm working on my convention and comic presence this year, as well as having a patreon open!

I've been pretty busy recently and I must admit that my FA kind of got left at the way side again.

I post all my WIP's etc almost exclusively to Facebook now and occasionally Tumblr.
Deviantart has the majority of my non-anthro stuff too as I don't feel like here is the place to spam you all with stuff for groups and junk.

I am working on spreading my online presence and I have a store open and will be popping up at a few UK cons, as well as working on my Webcomic - https://www.monomi-comic.co.uk.

I suck at keeping up with things here, I totally forgot I had an account... Which is sad cos I like a lot of you bros!

Incase anyone wonders, My art is signed as Paper-plate (http://paper-plate.deviantart.com) as that's my DA and Username everywhere else. I decided to drop the 5010 / Solo in all but a few places. (here being one)

I never used to link my normal and fur art, but I am too lazy now to separate them as I draw so little Anthro stuff now.

So how are folks doing?

One of the things that really never got me to stick with FA is that I feel really sort of lonely on here.
I feel like I cannot find any new people to chat with.

I really do think i'm just missing something...

Maybe it's because i'm not a fur? I just really like drawing stuff.

I managed to pick a name after spending the day staring at the list.
First, this is how I picked the names I liked. I wrote all the names that had the right meanings on some paper (without the meanings or the submitters name) I then cycled through the names while staring at the character and slowly removed the ones that didn't fit.

I was then left with a few names that sounded great, I paired them with his last name: Heradota or Cicero.

Eventually, there was one name that constantly rang and despite the meaning not being as complex as I liked the name just wouldn't unstick itself from the character.

The chosen name is "Daishomaru"
Meaning we have two main winners (w00t) as I stuck the name Daisho with the name Maru.

The winners are Tsubakiwolf for "Daisho" and Felflowne for "Maru"

Runners up are:

Jennifer for "Wenshisesh", It just sounded so cool together as Wenshisesh Heradota that it is now the name of Daishomaru's father and the leader of thier family.

Wingedmystery for "Erimentha" Which fits the crazy kid oracle perfectly.
