Second of all, and most importantly,
I will be unavailable for commissions until

My brother and I will be on vacation in
Orlando, Florida for the first full week of November

But let me be real here (and out of a symmetrical machine-like groove): though I have tried Grok to see what it was worth, I am NOT going to rely on it for showcasing my art as pictures in motion. That would just be half-assed and ingenuine of me. And no way to respect my long time watchers: you guys.
As for all the videos I've generated already, I will NOT be sharing them publicly for the sake of artist's authenticity.

As some of you know, I had my commission prices up because I'm leaving my dayjob.
I thought that business would come fast as usual, but turns out most my repeat customers (and some potential new ones) were totally discouraged.
As disappointing as that may be, I'm not entirely discouraged either. These past two months I've been open with said increased prices have been merely a test. And having testing the limits of that price change, I'm considering setting my prices the way they were this Wednesday, October 1st.
The base price will be back down to $35 for a single, flat colored character.
The difference is that I won't be offering two characters for $50. Additional characters will cost +$20 each. However, I will offer a chance for character profile sheets for the base price of $50, with the option of adding other features for reasonables rates.
All background prices, pre-made and custom, will be offered for lower prices.
Character tinting may come for a small additional price, depending on the background (usually if it was dark or dramatically lit up).
And as usual, simple gradient backgrounds, dialogue, and side panels showing a feature of the same character that's out of the frame... are FREE!
Also, since I'm leaving my dayjob, I will be offering 20 slots, instead of 10 for each month I'm open from now on.
So what do you people think?

Now, as some of you may know,
I will be increasing the base price of single character commissions
from $35 to $50
when I open for commissions
next Friday, August 1st,
but there's more to this update.
I would like to get a general consensus about a new feature I'm offering along with the new prices:
Choice of Pre-Made Backgrounds for +$10 to the base price.
Here's the list of Backgrounds I've made for you to choose for your commissions.
Each link below leads to an example of each background:
Beach (Daytime)

Pretty basic choices, right?
Now any of these backgrounds can be altered to your liking: color, scale, choice of objects, landscape/portrait orientation, and choice of image in the frames of the indoor backgrounds.
Of course, if you have a different type of background in mind, it's +15 to the base price. Only $5 more from the choice ones.
And as usual, simple gradient backgrounds are always free for you, and easy for me to add.
So what do you guys think? For $10 more, is the choice of pre-made backgrounds worth it for you?

Off To The Beach B-)

That's right, dudes. After months of working and waiting several months, I'm taking my mother and niece to the beach. Atlantic City, NJ to be exact. Got a nice room and everything.
So from tomorrow morning, til Thursday evening I'll be on vacation. My feedback or online availability will be limited and all I'll have is to my phone to keep in touch.
When I get back Thursday, however, I have got some serious changes to make for my commission hustle next month.

I'm Leaving my Dayjob August 1st

For those who are confused as to why I opened for commissions this month, outside my regular schedule of only opening every 3 months, this is why.
As the title declares, I will be leaving my dayjob on August 1st because the whole place is shutting down and relocating to a sister location 30+ miles away.
For 10 years and 2 months, I have worked at a protein bar manufacturing facility close to where I live. I have worked there 40+ hours a week, Monday thru Friday with a few Saturday shifts once in a while, and I have never been late nor have I missed a day without calling off.
Do I feel bad about leaving my dayjob? Hardly. After working there for so long, I can qualify for a job in a lot more places than I did before. Plus they'll give me a hefty severance check and I can apply for unemployment compensation, so there's not too much of a hurry on getting a new job.
But the most proud reason I have for feeling good about this? I'll have more time for taking commission orders online than I ever did before!
Now, of course, the downside to the latter possibility is that I will have to raise my prices, but also increase the amount of slots available. So don't worry. I'll also be sure to add a few free incentives, like a free choice of a premade background, or a small discount if certain characters are included. Stuff like that.
So now you know. Purple Pride Month was just a prelude to what kind of business I would get if I were to go "full-time" with my talent. For those who purchased a commission from me this month before, I humbly thank you for your support.
For those of you who follow me on Discord (or did), any support you can offer, I will reward with a pleasing image of your choice.
You guys are all awesome to me and I hope to make good on my talent with your patronage.

Ever since that uneventful morning, every day in my young adulthood was governed by the quest to get that cheap thrill once again. And again. And again. And again...
...and again until my bal-- no, until my mind was at ease.
After 28 years of onantistic addiction, finding tantalizing imagery and taking my pent up lust out on the most comfortable furnishings available, I have come to a cognitive standstill, if not an abrupt dysfunction. It has granted me a more clear reflection on how sexual fantasizing affected my past, and I would like to record and share what I've learned here for the sake of enlightenment for you and the retention of sanity and intellectual fulfillment for myself.
I learned that if you keep holding onto a sexual fantasy, a source of onanistic behavior, to the point of ignoring what's more important in life, you feel like dying a little every day. No matter how much time or money you spend to fill that void, nothing else appeals or matters to you like they did before. You can't enjoy a movie, TV show, or any lore-driven work of fiction, if I tried. It's all wind and sails at that point, so you have to rely on the more mundane, commonplace, but fond necessities to drive yourself forward: food, music, outdoor natural beauty, and good health.
So I will say to you, my fellow onanistic mediocrities: if your sexual livelihood (or lack thereof) brought your life to a similar halt like mine did, you just might have let pornography rule your balls. One more justified reason why the U.S. federal government wants to ban it. Right? I mean, who knows how our society will change when people of our intellectual kind is blocked out of existence?
Until that time in history, I will continue to make furry smut art. For my sanity AND your enjoyment.

See, a thunderstorm hit hard in my home area and the internet connection is unavailable for who knows how long.

Well, guys? It's been 41 years for me, so far.
And it's also been 16 years since I've really gotten into the furry fandom as a way to cope with the fact that I'm no good at being in a more serious relationship with somebody.
For those of you who remember the real, personal reason I got into this fandom, I'll reiterate for those who don't:
I knew a girl for 9 years who I wanted to be in a romantic relationship with, but she lived far from where I've been while in high school and college. So every break I had from studies, I went to see her.
Then when she started to actually "date" a man 3 times her age... my hopes were shattered.
As I allowed my grievances and sorrow to fade away with every piece of fetish art I completed, uploaded, and shared; the more I realized how... inadequate... my social life has really been.
I was diagnosed with autism since I was 3 years old, which affected the way I learned in school, but crippled the way I try to get along with other kids growing up.
I moved/relocated 10 times in my life, including my time in California for college, so it inhibited me from building a long enough social history with anyone.
My father was overprotective of me and never condoned nor provided the proper support for me to be a more outgoing person. He was just afraid that I'd say the wrong things (which unfortunately I did a few key times). That's just one more reason I struck out on my own in California; to become a better social person... yet my mileage varied.
And so, here I am now: still single, middle aged, and no actual social circle outside of who I'm in contact with online. My family is doing what they could to keep me in the cycle of adult conformity, yet it's not helping my social needs at all.
I don't know what would be a greater birthday present than being in regular contact with a social worker. A paid specialist who takes time to see me on a scheduled basis. Maybe that's what I need?
Anyway, you guys know how I feel now. Birthday wishes are always welcomed, but please don't hesitate to speak your minds for me. Thank you for following me these past 16 years so far.

Meh233Dragoneer and the Future of FA (My Humble Regards)

Now, I know it's a big deal for all FurAffinity users, including long-time users like me, to mourn the loss of 
Dragoneer, and I can sincerely sympathize with that. But there is a much more pressing matter that I'm concerned with. It's about the fate of "FurAffinity.net" itself.
With all the talk about the government trying to censor online pornography and the growth of LGBT communities who dabble in the furry fandom, it would be terrible to see one of the biggest online furry hubs be shut down leaving limited alternatives, or other websites that are not as grounded as FA is (or was), that may be liable for said censorship.
And should FA be subject to it, that would really put me at a great disadvantage as much as most people I know would. It would kill one of the biggest common interests I have with most of the friends I've made through this website and just limit my outlets and options for looking for alternative, albeit "mainstream" interests.
Liberating? Maybe. Heartbreaking after spending so many years on the site? I'm afraid so.
Suffice to say, my life wouldn't be the same without FA.
Anyone else share this fear?

You guys have seen me to "Commission Themes" before in the past. Some centered on Macro March, certain holidays, and such. This time, however, I'd like it centered on two of my Original Characters:

What I ask for in this theme is any commission idea based around either one of my OC's, or even both together.

As you know, in regards to recent unfortunate events, my Discord was compromised and used to send incoherent messages about "phishing scams". Well, I was fearful, but naive enough to follow thru with engaging the supposed "help", but it cost me $150 via Paypal to the true culprit!
His name is "JETH KHEM ARANAS". He's from the Philippines. It's either his name, or it's the name of the person whose account he's using to scam American dollars with.
He uses the Discord handle "mike_support22". DO NOT ADD HIM OR ACCEPT HIM ON YOUR DISCORD.

I've dreaded that a day like this would come.
But after a series of shady messages I've had regarding my server having issues of phishing bad stuff and being "scammed" into paying money to fix the problem, I got scared and made a whole new Discord account and a new server.
