My next commissions opening will be happening November 1st! I'll have a few slots open, and ask that when you contact me you let me know what you'd like so I have a grasp of how long each commission is going to take !

September Update

I am officially back. The jetlag is going to kick my butt for a few more days, but I should be able to get back to work still!
I'm very thankful for your kind words and your patience during these last few weeks (apologies if I haven't directly responded to you, it's been a bit tough).
I will be moving the names on my Waitlist to the current Commission queue to get started. I'll also be working on this month's patreon sketches. The theme voted for this time round is: Mages! (think over the top 80s illustration of mages)

Absence Update

I'm posting a bit of an unfortunate update to let you guys know that I will be abroad to visit family for two weeks from the 24th of August to the 8th of September. As stated before, this isn't really a fun vacation as I'll be saying a final goodbye to a family member. This ended up happening sooner than planned.
As you can see I got through all the commissions on my list. If you are on the waitlist, I will be getting to you when I get back (I rather not start anything before I leave).
I'll be available to talk to if you have questions about commissions, waitlist or patreon. For the monthly patreon sketches, I'll work on the ones for September when I get back too ^^

I am, one week late but as stated in my last journal, I made a Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/c/5THSUN
There will be a little bit of a learning curve to see how this works so I am very open to feedback and questions about the tiers and other things. Right now I offer full resolution images of my pieces, WIP pics, monthly sketches, early access to com openings, NSFW options among other things.
Now concerning my current list of commissions, I'll be going through it as per usual with a little bit of a change. I've been working on bigger coms and smaller coms simultaneously, and I have also bumped up on the list some time sensitive ones. The reason for the last one is unfortunately not a very good one. I've had some news last week of a family member being diagnosed with a serious illness and it may force me to fly over seas at a day's notice to see them. Life happens, I'm grateful that they are well surrounded with my family and are taking everything like a champ.
To be fair to you guys, I just wanted to give you this heads up that if I end up leaving abruptly, I'll be gone for likely 2 weeks and will pause commissions during that time. I'll of course resume once I'm back.
For now though, I'm sticking around and working, prioritizing time sensitive commissions, hope you guys understand ^^

June is just about ending, I hope everyone had an alright month!
Here's a little update to give you my next opening for commissions, which will be this Sunday 29th of June. I miiight be slow to reply in the morning (France time) because I'm helping for a move Saturday xD But don't worry, I'll reply once I have some coffee in me!
I'll have limited slots so people at the bottom of the list shouldn't have to wait over 2 months to get their commission started. I'm aiming for roughly 10 slots depending on what people want.
As always, if you are unable to make the list, just message me and I can add you to my waitlist!
Next, as mentioned in my previous post, there's been an update to my pricing. This is a good time to remind you guys that over 100€, I offer payment plans to accomodate your own financial situations.

June Update!

First of all, Happy Pride!! I hope everyone gets to celebrate in a way that makes them feel safe and comfortable this month and that you continue to spread positivity even after <3
Next up, I'm posting a lil update regarding my current queue. I've officially started working through my waitlist, so I will not be adding new people to it. Once I'm done, I will be re-opening commissions (I'm hoping mid/end of June).
One thing I learned after my last round of commissions is that I think I took too many people. I'm not a huge fan of making you guys wait 4 months before I can start your commission. I think that's a little too long for the way I work, so in the future I will be taking a little less to keep the wait to 2-3 months at most. I'm really thankful for the patience of the people at the bottom of the queue!
I'll be re-evaluating my pricing and updating my Commissions website this month as well. If you are on the waitlist, the current prices are the ones that will apply to you!
Something I am also finally going to do this summer, is to get a Patreon up and running. I've been thinking about it for years and have had a lot of doubt that I'm good enough for one (something something imposter syndrom). So I'll give it a try!
What I think I can offer through it are some monthly sketches/emotes, upload full resolution images of my coms, give a guaranteed slot for commission openings and unlock nsfw commission options.
I've also considered Kofi, but I'm less familiar with the way it works. I'm very open to hearing thoughts on all this! Suggestions are welcome and if you're on Discord I'm very down for a discussion !
Also thank you to everyone who participated in the Sfaera Card Game's Kickstarter. This month, we're trying to bring all the finishing touches so we can send everything into production in July. Crossing fingers that we can stick to that schedule so everyone who pledged can get their game by the end of the year!

Card game Kickstarter!

It's been like... 3 years now, but I am finally able to promote the Kickstarter page for the card game I worked on!!
Sfaera is a creature combat card game, fast paced with a mix between luck and strategy.
I worked on all the visuals for the game, and it has been so incredibly satisfying to see it all printed and play tested over the last few months.
The game will be available in English, French and German.
We have plans to expand the creature catalogue if we can too!
The Kickstarter page is currently in pre-launch, so follow it if you want to be notified of the official launch!

As the title suggests, my coms are now open!
I will be taking a good number of slots this time around, but! If you haven't been able to grab a slot, you can still message me and I will add you to my waitlist. That way you can be sure that you will get a slot after I am done with my current queue. I understand that timezones make it a bit difficult to grab a spot sometimes, and I want to try to accommodate everyone and be fair ^^
As per usual, please let me know what your commission is when you contact me, it helps me organize how I work. If you are commissioning a time sensitive piece (like a con badge or bday gift), you will always get priority in the order. I would hate to be rushing through your commission.

New Year and next Commission openings

Happy new years to everyone, it's been a while!
The end of the year has been a little bit difficult between multiple projects and just general winter blues, but I'm back to work and motivated to start a new year!
I have a date for my next commission opening, but first I have a little update to my prices.
Extra characters now cost 100% of the base price as opposed to my previous 50%. Reason being, I am spending just as much time rendering a second character as I am the first.
As a note: In commissions where a character's body is very hidden by another, I will of course price it accordingly, you will not be charged a full-body price if we only see the character's head peaking out.

Now for commission opening, I will be opening on January 25th (Next Saturday).

I have a lil update for my commissions: I'll have Openings on the 5th of October!
If you are on my waitlist, I will work for you before the new queue of course. I won't be adding anyone new to the waitlist, so if you intend to commission me, please message me when October 5th comes up!
The only exception to that is if you have a tight time constraint, in which case please message me as early as possible so we can talk and I can let you know if I'm the right fit for you.
Also I haven't shared here yet, but I've been working for 2 years now on a creature, turn based card and dice game! I've been a bit slower lately with coms due to me and my project client gearing up for a lot of cons in France where he's been testing out the game, getting feedback, etc... I hope everyone's been doing alright after the site takeover, I'm glad it's been solved as swiftly as it was!
I've taken a two week break after my latest commission log, and I'm ready to get back to work. I will be going through my waitlist first, so if you are on it you can expect a lil message asking for your status on that. Once those are completed, I will open commissions again (I'm hoping Mid-September at the earliest).

I'll be taking commissions Saturday 11th of May. I'll have around 10 slots depending on the complexity of the commissions. (Please let me know when you contact me what you have in mind)

Making a quick little journal update regarding the advancement of current commissions:
I'm slowly getting to the last of the list, and it's taken me a bit longer than planned to do so. I didn't judge the time it would take to work on the current queue very well, as it was a bit longer than I'm used to! If you have questions regarding your slot, please let me know, I don't bite ^^
As for the next opening, I will work on my waitlist first and then give you guys a more precise date. I'll take fewer commissions next time so my completion estimation are not so off!

New Years! 2024

I hope that you guys had a nice holiday last week and that it continues over this weekend. I've been on a tiny break, but I will be resuming work on the 2nd of January!
Which means my next opening for commissions will be on the 6th of January.
As opposed to 2023, I'll keep my coms open over the weekend, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th with no limit to inquiries. I'm still trying new ways to create my queues and find the best way to be available to everyone when I do. So make sure to add this to your calendars if you are interested !

I have a small update for you guys. I wont be opening commissions in November and will instead take care of the Waitlist I made in October. It turned out that I have a full list of those.
Of course, I'll finish the current log of commissions first. If it turned out I have room for some extra work, I'll let you guys know ^^

Happy spooky season >:3 I have an update for you guys:
- I will be opening commission slots this weekend, Saturday 7th of October at 8AM (UTC+2). I will take around 10 commissions depending on complexity.

It's been a while since my last journal post, I've had quite the busy summer but it is finally calming down! I'm now going to finish up a few commissions so it'll be a moment before I open for commissions again. But I am hoping to open up Mid-October at the earliest!
The Calendar 2024 kickstarter has been doing super well! Thanks to you guys, we are funded! Now we have two stretch goals that we can reach to get sticker and prints rewards, as well as a printed run of the calendar itself. We also still have 3 slots left for YCH calendar pages, and a fourth, special 3 character (poly) slot for June. We have 31 days left to run, and some of the art is already underway!

In other news, I am also permanently deleting my Twitter this week. I've been made aware that they are going to be feeding all our posted images to AI for training. Apparently just being on the platform will be enough to count as consent for it, and I am not interested in feeding my art to AI without any laws yet to be set to protect our work.
I however have a Bluesky account. I know that this AI issue might eventually extend to them, but for now, the platform is chill. I also know that it's sloooowly building community and restricted to invite only. Let me know if there are other platforms you'd like to see me on!

Here is a quick little reminder to all my watchers that I will be opening commissions tomorrow.
I will be taking coms to roughly cover June and July.
As a little change from previous times, the number of slots available will depend on the complexity of the commissions I get this time around.
It will be roughly 10 commissions but it can be more or less!
So please message me with what you would like when you ask for a slot.

June Commissions! + Bonus Updates

I've had some good time with my family and I am almost done with my commissions backlog!
Which means I will be re-opening very soon!
My next date for commissions opening will be June 4th. I'll have limited Emote slots and a special slot reserved to members of the Fireside Coop Discord.
Up until then, I will finish the Floof2Go slots and I will also hold a free Art raffle to thank you guys for 800 followers!
I will have more information about the Art raffle in a special art post, in the coming week. But thank you guys again for being so many to follow my work!

Small break update!

I hope everyone is having a good week and that you have the opportunity to take a break over the approaching weekend.
I want to post a little update here for the end of April:
I'll be taking a two week break to see my family from the 23rd to the 7th of May. I will be working until then of course and will do my best to advance on Commissions and the Floof2Go boxes.
I initially planned to get everything done beforehand, but some personal stuff came up and I ended up being a bit slower than usual.
I promise to be back full steam early May to finish everything!
If you have any questions regarding the fulfillment of your commission, feel free to message me.

I'm writing a little journal post for my most recent update and for my next round of commissions date!
Firstly, due to the inflation and higher demand, I have increased my prices. You can find my updated Prices and TOS on my new website:

JANUARY Commissions

I hope you guys had a nice holiday week and that you are all getting prepped for New Years !
I'm coming with a small Update on when I'll be opening my commissions again:
Sunday, JANUARY 8th 2023 at 15:00 PM (GMT)
I will get back on track and take 8 slots with a limited amount for emotes (only taking 2 emote slots this time around).
I am also going to try and change the way I do some things this year, starting with a little request:
- When you ask for a slot, I would really like to roughly know what you would like. It doesn't need to be detailed, but it would help me make a better estimate of the time I can spend on commissions each month.
And once I give you the slot, you are welcome to send the details right after. Doing so might help me get a head start and get you your commission faster !
- Secondly, I will likely need to raise prices again this year. I have finally started to live alone, and with that the cost of living has gone up and I want to be able to sustain myself without asking for financial help.
And just to wrap this little update up, I wanted to express again how much it means to me that you all follow and support me! I am always happy to see how much you guys trust me with your characters and ideas and I hope to keep doing it for a long time!

Wrapping up 2022! (update)

It's been a while since my last journal, but things are finally starting to get back to normal for me!
I have moved and I am now comfortably installed in my new place. Which means this is one thing that is now out of the way ~
Secondly I would like to apologies for the bit of delay I have encountered in turning in commissions. I have had some last minute job offers outside of my regular commission work and they all had tight deadlines ^^' However!! I want to try my best to finish my batch of emotes before the end of the year. I have just finished my last illustrations for this year, so I can now fully commit to the emotes that are left!
As for when I will re-open commission slots, I am thinking some time in early January. So keep an eye out for that as I will make a journal update and a twitter post for exact dates!
I'm really happy with all the pieces I've been able to work on this year, the new people I've met and the opportunities I was given as an artist. And my only wish for next year is to continue the streak of good things and do my best to share that with others and bring some comfort where I can <3 I can have a lot of moments where I doubt myself as a person and artist, but seeing your support helps hush those doubts and I cannot thank you guys enough. Cheers to this community and to the future art we'll collaborate on!
