WOO look who's not rolling around in a shallow grave. It is I, the frenchiest fry.
So I have not been active... like, at all, online. I haven't drawn anything in... around two months or so ;w; and because of that I have lost the ability to draw lmao. Tried drawing something christmas-y today and my hand didn't know how to hold a pencil.

So I'll have to get back into things there- the reason I had originally stopped is because my tablet started malfunctioning. The thing is almost 8 years old now so I don't blame it! I'm buying myself a new one for christmas so that'll be good! A medium sized Inutos Pro. Hope I can get it working... I had to try it out today to test if it is actually working and I'm having a little trouble with it. Oh digital art gods don't make me return this tablet please.

Have also been making progress on fursuit work- been busy with friends and family though because of the holiday season. Speaking of- I really hope you all have a wonderful Christmas ^^ Spend time with those you love and those who love you in return.

Attention Aussies- prepare thyselves for Confurgence. I'll be taking it by storm! Hopefully along with dorchette too~
Also, on the Saturday of Confurgence, furtitude, eagleironic and I will be hosting the PokeFurs panel from 12:00 till 1:30~!
We'll ramble about all the things so be sure to come to that if you're interested ^^
I'll talk more about the happenings of Confurgence in January.

So just to let everyone know I'm now closed for digital art commissions~ I might open again soon but I want to work on some personal digital art for a bit- haven't done that in a while xD

Hi everyone!!
I so hope you're all doing well.

Anyway so quite a bit has happened on my end. I've been quite busy with uni work it was really starting to get me down. And I thought you know what, no. I'm going to use 2015 to do my thing.
So basically what's happened is I've put my uni course on 'hold'. I go back to it and start it again in 2016 but for now I'm going to try to get a job and learn to drive and all that jazz.

In between job searching, now that I don't have to go into campus almost every day I have a lot more time for art and fursuit making! YAY

I'm getting my stuff organised and I feel like I'm sorting myself out, which is a welcome change from the constant pressure I felt in regards to uni.

I've got one commission and one raffle prize in my to-do list, and then I'll be clear there. Now that I have time they should be done soon~ however I'm still currently buried under messages on both of my accs here and on dA. I'll try to start responding to the comments but the 100+ watcher notifications are going to have to be wiped ; ; I'm so sorry, but thank you guys so much for the watch! It is really appreciated.
Once I've wiped them I'll start responding to the new ones I get. Same with comments.

So I posted my 'I'm back' journal and you all left me such lovely comments- and then I get so busy that I don't respond to all of them OTL I feel awful, but it's all across the board, across all my accounts.

Updates from me will be slow for an undetermined amount of time. Why? I've started my first year at university and everything is currently super overwhelming.

The two commissions I have are under control and they will get done when I have time, no worries about that. It's just correspondence that will be slow as heck. After I get those two works done I won't be taking comms for a while so that I may readjust my life order a bit. Give it a smack and make it stand up straight again instead of being flopped over in a chair if you know what I mean.

So recently I've had a lot of notes and comments asking if I take commissions and how much they would be.
I have good news! I finally sat down and have made up a basic fursuit commission guide!

Here is where I need your help. These prices are not yet official and are only base prices. Since I am a new maker I would like to get your input on them! Are they too low, too high, just right etc

If I get some good feedback on these prices and enough interest, I just might open up for a few small slots for commission fursuit work! (This isn't definite, but a real possibility)
If not, I will certainly still be making a few premades. I drew a few designs last night that I really like the look of. I will upload them soon~

Also it has come to my mind that I'll need a Makers name. Like Don'tHugCacti or SunnyValleyCreations. The only thing coming to my mind is something like 8Bit-Works, which is kind of boring, no?

Hello again everyone!
How have you all been? I got back a few days ago and have taken a few days to rest, so I'm back up to functioning!
Did I miss anything, heh? xD I see that the banner is still the same and I hear MWFF went well~ (other than the horrible incident with the chlorine... that is just messed up. I'm so sorry if any of you were affected by that- I'm glad no one was terribly hurt!)

I am so glad to be done... It's just a huge relief for all that to be behind me now.

I have been extremely busy with studying, this past week in particular. For Biology class alone I have written up 76 pages of notes-- over 22,000 words!!

When I finish study for the day I look forward to unwinding with some art...and I love pokemon so I thought, why not do some badges~?

These little sticker-like badges will be $10 each! I will be using the same lineart but will alter it to fit your character. I will take any species except human, and only feral chibis like what you see in the example.
You will recieve the larger high res file, but I cannot print and ship these to you.

It has come to my attention that people have started to trace/recolour my art. I must emphasize that this journal is not directed at anyone in particular. I will not name names, but it has happened on more than one occasion and by several different people.
The most popular thing to trace appears to be Eight’s fursuit reference sheet. I commonly take commissions for artworks just like that reference sheet, and still people trace.

Now this isn’t a rant journal…it is simply informational.
You are not allowed to trace, recolour, heavily reference or reuse my art work in any way, shape or form without my written permission.


It saddens me that I have to write a journal like this, but with the number of cases increasing I thought I should make it known. If you see anyone who you think may be tracing my art, please contact me privately before calling them out on it~ I can talk to the person quietly without having to cause a kafuffle and hopefully get them to take it down. If the person will not take it down, I will report it.
There are many, many linearts/templates/bases out there for FREE use! You do not have to trace other people’s art.

Please just try to remember that tracing can be incredibly rude to the artist involved, and it is hurtful when others take credit for your own hard work. Some artists allow people to trace their work for educational purposes, and that’s wonderful! However I am not one of those artists.
