Hey guys!
I've been fairly inactive recently but I'm not dead! Just been really busy with school and the matter.

I'll get right into my question, there appears to be a standard ticket to Confurgence 2015 for three days for $75 as opposed to $100 (which is a bit expensive in my opinion when other 3 day conventions cost less but I digress)

So if I could get a ticket for less by buying earlier, I will do it. According to this site, this 'sale' ends on the 4th of may...

So I supposed my question is, is this worth it and is the site legitimate? Why is there a cheaper ticket?
I just want a generic ticket with which I can bounce around the convention site in suit and participate in the fursuit parade~

Does Fabric.com have nice, good quality shaggy fur?

Hey all!
So as it turns out, Fabric.com is having a sale on almost all their faux fur at the moment. ASJDLFKSDJ.
You all know that I have been planning to make an Eight fursuit http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11964406/ for a while now and originally my plan was to go to an Aussie store by the name of Bartfeld's. The only reason I haven't had the chance to go yet is because they have the strangest freaking opening hours and they're a bit far away.
So eventually I was going to make a time to go check out their furs but this fur sale opportunity has come up on Fabric.com.

Faux fur is very difficult to get at a decent price here in Australia, your average shaggy fur will cost you around $50 a meter. $40 if you're lucky. As Bartfelds is a wholesaler (that does do personal cuts as well, I phoned and asked) I was hoping they would be cheaper.

After fiddling about I have decided to make Eight I will need,
- 3 Yards of Lime green shaggy faux fur
- 2 Yards of Ivory shaggy faux fur
- 1/2 a yard of Neon Yellow shaggy faux fur
- and a swatch of orange shaggy faux fur (for Eight's tail tip)

This PLUS $57.61 shipping will cost me $160.28 in total to buy because the fur is on sale and cheaper than normal.



TL;DR
Does Fabric.com have nice, good quality shaggy fur?
Is it worth checking out Bartfeld's first and missing out on Fabric.com's sale?
Is 3 yards of the green fur too much? (I am only 5"2 but I would hate to run out and have to buy more)

What made you choose the species of your main Character?
Well, I’ve always been better at drawing canines. I came straight from the OMG WOOFS DESU side of dA. Also just generally I feel that canines suit my personality better. THEN AGAIN, she isn’ all canine. Eight does not have a species she is just a…thing…. What I like to refer to as mutt/???
All in all I really have no idea.

Is your character just like you, or how you want to be?
Eight represents the person I’d like to be. Happy, confident, sassy as hell. She is how I want to be seen by others.
In actuality I am this shy little thing who is mistrusting of people- but generally happiest around my close friends. This character http://fav.me/d6kuxfr is more my ‘real’ fursona in that she represents my true self.

Does your character have the same personality you have?
Again she’s more how I want to be. She’s more confident in herself and such but just as excitable as I am

Eight doesn’t have a backstory, no… I’d never really thought about it xD She just appeared one day. And here I am.

Is your character mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?
She doesn’t have a lover because I don’t right now~

If not are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?
Never heard the term swinger before so I’m assuming it means someone who just has flings and such.
Whilst Eight is/I’m single, we’re not actively looking as I’m busy with school.

Is there something special about your character that you think sets them apart from others?
Hmmm… not that I can think of. There are plenty of hyperactive lime green canines and others with horns too- If you think something is unique about her, please tell me in a comment!

Do you have much art of your main character?
Hell yes I do. And I print off all the fanart I get and I put it up on my wall BECAUSE I LOVE IT AND YOU GUYS THANK YOU.

Would you ever consider parting with your main character, if so why?
NOPE. I’d be too afraid that they’d butcher her and starting using her in sexual situations. Something I do not want.

If you suit, do you have a suit of your main character?
I am definitely making her into a suit myself this year if I have time. I only haven’t started yet because I don’t have the fur. That being said I could easily start on the foam base for the head and padding- but yeah I need time.

As those of you who join my streams will know I have become pretty unwell recently so I might be slowing down with the art and streams.
I have intermittent bouts of nausea and right now I feel hot even though it is cool outside.

Sorry I've been a bit slow on replying to messages and things lately, been a bit busy!
I will get onto the art I owe, but since none of them are commissions I am pacing myself and trying to enjoy the remainder of my holiday.

Hey guys! So I just reached 800 watchers...holy chicken nuggets, hello my lovelies.

ANYWAY, Confurgence egyptian nights (Australian furcon) is coming up... and I won't be actually going in as it's hella expensive and currently I don't have that kind of money. However, I figure I could just stand out the front of the exhibition center in my quadsuit for an hour!
