Full OC List.
General | Posted 7 years agoI am mostly doing this so I have a list for myself. But hey, here's all of my OC's the good and mediocre ones. =P I don't have all of my very old ones listed as they have been replaced by better designed versions of the same species.
Place ya bets, how many links will break? =P

Hollow Knight: Pantheon of Hollownest.
General | Posted 7 years agoSo in my previous journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8857736/ I was rather adamant about this boss rush being too difficult for me to beat.
For those who may not know this "Pantheon of Hollownest" is a boss rush of 42 bosses. After 10 bosses you get an area to fully heal, then after that every 5 bosses you get an area to fully heal. But still you must fight 5 bosses in a row and survive. Obviously if you die on ANY boss you have to start all over from the beginning.
Before I posted the journal the furthest I had reached was the 29th boss. I stopped for a few days but as I was watching a Hollow Knight Let's Play I had a nagging feeling in the back of my mind, "You know you want to beat it." "You know you NEED to beat it" "Go ahead, try again." So I gave in and tried again.
On my first try here I made it to the 6th boss and died. =P Wow, off to a GREAT start! But that was only a couple of minutes so I decided to try again. Well after beating the 29th boss and then the 30th I was now starting to get worried. Bosses 31-35 went okay, but with their defeat comes the REALLY scary stuff.
36: Soul Tyrant, slow and tedious fight.
37: Markoth, I hate this boss no matter what.
38: Grey Prince Zote, just a kind of busy fight.
39: Failed Champion, 2 damage per hit, fun times...
40: Nightmare King Grimm, do I need to say anything?..
Well to my surprise I actually beat Nightmare King Grimm and then the true horrors were awaiting me...
41st boss I actually beat as well and then the final boss......... I died in seconds. >_> 45-60 minutes of work and all thrown away in seconds...
Well there was a silver lining, there is an area in this grand boss rush area that has statues of every boss you have ENCOUNTERED, examining said statues allows you to fight and practice any of the bosses they correspond to. Well since I ENCOUNTERED the final boss their statue was added to this area so I was given the privilege to be able to practice this boss.
I think I practiced this boss for 4 hours or so and in all that I beat it 6 times. Now that was not in a row, let's say every 20 fights I actually beat them. I'd hazard a guess and say I fought the boss 80-100 times. >_>
Now came the fun part, actually beating the final boss at the end of the boss rush. It took me roughly 7 tries (tries being times I actually reached the final boss) but FINALLY I managed to beat the full boss rush. Yes this is after Team Cherry added in some nerfs for some bosses but I don't care, it's still a very difficult boss rush.
I am happy to have beaten it, but I can honestly say that I NEVER WANT TO DO THIS BOSS RUSH EVER AGAIN!!!

Video game difficulty, what is too difficult to you?
General | Posted 7 years agoLet's post a journal where I may not respond to a lot of the comments because I am hella lazy. >_>
So there are easy games, hard games, hard games that some find easy and some easy games that some find hard. It's all based upon personal skill.
I feel that I am fairly decent at some precision platformers, but have me play a hard FPS game I would be doing pretty terribly. =P
So for me there are a few things that pass the line of being too hard or just unfun to me.
I Wanna be the Boshy. I LOVE "I Wanna be the Guy" and "I Wanna be the Fangame." I had heard about Boshy for a while so I downloaded and started playing it. I got to the Mario boss fight, the 50th of 9,001 bosses in the game, and I just stopped having fun. It's not just the boss fights that I liked about IWBTG and IWBTFG I liked the platforming, but Boshy seemed to be more intent on having more bosses in just the first part of the game that both of the aforementioned games.
Demon's Souls. I played this game for the PS3 ages ago, and I did not like it. I am not fond of "travel and fight through this LONG section without a checkpoint" and "wait for opening and attack ONLY a couple times and back away" moments when fighting bosses. I mean old games (and some newer ones) suffer from having bosses where you have to wait through X number of attacks and then they open their weakpoint allowing you to attack a few times before closing their weakpoint. It's the same thing with how the boss fights in Demon's Souls were and I do not like it. So I stopped playing that game pretty early on.
The End is Nigh. Now 99% of the game is amazing and I greatly enjoy it, but there is a batch of bonus levels you can play once you find the hidden video game cartridges hidden somewhere in the main game. There are 4 that are called Denial, Anger, Bargaining and Depression. Each one is 5-8 screens long, to beat these you must beat all of the rooms deathless all in a row. Well after collecting all 4 of those cartridges you unlock the 5th level, Acceptance. Acceptance is EVERY room from the other 4 cartridges and a final set of 5 new rooms at the end of Acceptance. So roughly 30 rooms that you must do all in a row without dying. >_> I HATE deathless challenges in nearly any game and rarely do I enjoy or want to do them. This one was one such challenge that I did not choose to beat.
Hollow Knight. Like "The End is Nigh" I enjoy 99% of the game, but there was something added in the recent Godmaster update that crossed the line.
So the recent update added what is basically a bunch of boss rushes. The 4 initial ones are 10 bosses each with a full healing room after 5 bosses. Well after you beat all 4 of those you unlock a 5th boss rush... This boss rush is ALL 42 bosses... You still get a full heal after every 5 bosses but I have only managed to reach the 29th boss out of the 42...
It's worth mentioning, if you found Nightmare King Grimm hard, well imagine 2 bosses that are harder than him, and NKG is the 40th boss fight then the two harder bosses are the 41st and 42nd respectively. >_> Knowing what horrors await me make my 4 or so deaths at the 28th and 29th boss fights all the more painful considering I haven't even gotten to the truly hard parts...
So this is one thing that I will not be beating. I even gave it one last try today, reached the 28th boss and died. And yeah, looking at videos of people beating this on YouTube it takes between 40-60 minutes. So imagine getting to the last boss and dying, nothing like wasting 45 minutes for nothing. >_>

Bad storm knocked out modem Tuesday, had no internet access.
General | Posted 7 years agoSo yeah, nasty storm once more took out our modem. A few days of no TV, no phone and no internet. >_>
We just got a new one today and just set it up and everything seems fine.
For the record I have suggested to my parents that we should invest in a legit surge protector for the modem so as to lessen the chance of this happening again.
So that is what has been going on. >_>

Cleaning your room and such things.
General | Posted 7 years ago As kids we may be lazy and choose not to clean our rooms, even as adults we may hold onto that. I tend to be lazy for a while but eventually I say "enough is enough" and start to clean my room. Now I am not the kind of person that leaves dirty clothes and trash around, I have a trash can and I put clothes in with the dirty clothes, rather I'm more like a kid and still buy various toy like items because I like how they look. =P
Now another thing my family has are storage units. Between my two sisters, my mother, my father and myself we have three storage units. But more accurately my father has 50% and the remaining four of us have 12.5% between each of us. =P My father may not be a full blown hoarder but it seems like he has hoarding tendencies for sure. And it's worth mentioning that all three storage units are nearly full...
Anyway, my mother and I have been wanting to get to these storage units and go through them. We're not being cruel to my father and getting rid of all of his stuff, just the stuff that is truly "garbage" and has no sense in being saved. But what makes my mother and I happy is when we find stuff of ours and we know we have full discretion towards getting rid of it all. For instance, a ways back I went through a phase of buying many Nerf guns as I liked how they looked. Most of them were purchased from thrift/resale stores so I got most of them cheap. Anyway I had THREE large plastic containers like this: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.....L._SL1500_.jpg FILLED with Nerf guns. Going through them I didn't want to keep a single one. =P That right there felt SO good to get rid of since I know that clearing that out reduced the amount of square footage taken up.
My mother and I have been limiting to one day a weekend as we want to keep a momentum going but we don't want to burn out on this. So far we have completely gone through one storage unit and have reduced it to roughly 30% filled and right now we are working on the second one and 60% of the contents still remain to be gone through, but we are certainly making headway. =3 What amazes me are the times I find a lot of my boxes, once I had 8 medium sized boxes (smaller than paper boxes) and going through them I reduced what I wanted to keep down to 2.5 boxes. Let me tell you, that feels good and practically cathartic.
So how about you? Do you ever go through your collection of stuff or clean up something and feel much better? Even something as simple as messages on FA can bring that joy of cleaning. =3

Looking for a story art-trade.
General | Posted 7 years agoSo I have an idea for an astronomical hyper growth story:
http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/.....onomical-Hyper
I have come to terms that writing stories just isn't for me so I need to ask others to write the ideas I have.
Of course as mentioned above I will draw a picture for you in return. =P
Anyway, what I would want is a story involving three characters:
Giraffe Xamiso: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24001480/
A hyper femboi version of Geoffrey the Toys R Us giraffe: http://360.advertisingweek.com/wp-c.....s-1170x600.jpg
Specifically the 1999 version kind of like what I did here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/26851111/
And a hyper femboi version of Gracie from Animal Crossing: http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Gracie
Basically I am wanting the usual hyper cock, ball and butt growth to extreme sizes as well as all the usual fetishes. If you are interested in writing about this I will list off some fetishes I'd like included in a note.
Also, with what I draw, if you want a solo character I will fully ink and shade it, but if you want two characters then I would rather not have to ink it as it takes longer to ink more than one character. Keep in mind I do all my inking in MS-Paint with a mouse BY MY CHOICE.
So if you are interested in a trade please let me know here in the journal, please DO NOT send a note yet.

Did some TV shopping.
General | Posted 7 years agoOkay so today I looked through Wal Mart, Target and Best Buy.
I looked at what available ports are in the TV and all that and here are the finds:
Element 24" $100
Element 32" $150
Polaroid 32" $130
LG 24" $130
Vizio 32" $150
These four have a "antennae" port which I THINK may be the coaxial port that I am looking for.
Toshiba 32" $130
Insignia 32" $130
Philips 24" $100
Sanyo 32" $130
I mainly post this journal to ask what your thoughts are on these brands for the price points. Aside from the "Insignia" and "Element" brands I have heard of all of them and assume they would be okay TV's. I just want some more opinions is all.

General | Posted 7 years agoOkay, so I currently have a 19 in. (12 in. x 16 in.) CRT TV. Since image quality means absolutely nothing to me a CRT TV is fine to me.
My current and obvious issue is that I cannot hook up my Switch to the CRT TV since it doesn't have an HDMI port and adapters create problems. I think I would like to be able to play my Switch on a TV as well as being able to buy a wired controller since they are $40 cheaper than wireless ones. (Since I play the Switch in desktop mode I cannot hook up a wired controller to it.)
Please note, I would STRONGLY prefer to purchase something like this from Wal-Mart, Target or Best Buy, I do NOT want to buy something like this off of Amazon or anywhere online. So please take note of that.
Anyway, what I am looking for in a TV, I am thinking a minimum of 24 in., I'd rather not spend more than $200 and less than $150 would be more preferable.
Things I REALLY need:
1) An HDMI port for the Switch.
2) AV port(s) (yellow/white/red component) for my PS1, PS2, Gamecube and Wii U. I don't need all four at once, I just need one main AV port as I can switch to the ones that I am currently using.
3) A port for whatever cable used by this ATT u-Verse cable box:
https://www.picclickimg.com/d/l400/.....ireless-TV.jpg
I cannot tell what kind it is.
4) Obviously a proper stand included as it will sit where my current TV is.
5) (optional) A way to keep my N64 hooked up as well. It doesn't use AV cables but the other cables like this: https://www.nintendo.com/consumer/i.....64_rftovcr.gif
If the AV cables you can buy off of Amazon and other places work I can buy those.
Also I have a VCR currently hooked up as that is the go between for my game consoles since my current TV has no AV ports. So with an HDTV I may be able to get rid of my VCR. Yes, a VCR, I am THAT old fashioned. =P
Now I have heard about input delay with video games on HDTV's, I am wondering if there is a way around this or what. I have no idea as I have zero experience with playing any games on HDTV's.
So anyway, if someone can help out here, like what brands are okay, what ones to avoid and what ones will work with what I really need as listed above.

Hollow Knight sprite question.
General | Posted 7 years agoSo I have been working on a sprite of The Knight (the one you play as) from Hollow Knight.
I decided to use this image to make a sprite from:
https://nintendoeverything.com/wp-c.....-7-656x369.jpg
https://www.dropbox.com/s/4daxst2gb.....rites.png?dl=0
The Knight's horns bugged me a bit so I tried 2 different styles.
1: Unaltered from the original image with rounded tips.
2: Slight alteration of the horns making them sharper.
3: Completely custom made horns.
4: Thicker version of the 3rd one.
Basically I'd like some opinions on what horns look the best. It is worth nothing that even the game doesn't seem to have consistency with this. In the intro The Knight has sharp horns, during the game they have sharp horns, in the ending they have rounded horns and the main image on the wiki they have sharp horns:
http://hollowknight.wikia.com/wiki/The_Knight
So what of the three options do you think look the best?

Hollow Knight (Switch)
General | Posted 7 years agoI have looked forward to this coming to the Switch ever since there was a possibility that it would come to the Switch. I am not really much of a PC gamer so it being on the Switch. =3
So my first playthrough was entirely blind. I managed to gets between 92%-94% out of 107% of the game completed on my own. After that I had to start looking up things. I am proud that I was able to find and defeat Nightmare King Grimm without looking up anything. =3
If I had made this journal right after beating the game I would have had more personal negative things to say about it, however I did a 100% speedrun in under 20 hours for the achievement/quest and that run I grew to love the game.
In that speedrun I was dodging bosses and collecting as many upgrades and charms as I could and that REALLY made all the difference. =3
I have also done a Steel Soul run... Which I did cheese by using the save and quit method. >_> I hate deathless runs so any way to cheese them is nice. I MAY do a legit Steel Soul run in the future, but after 4 playthroughs I need a break from the game. =P
Run 1: Initial run and got 107%
Run 2: Speedrun under 5 hours, I could have sworn the achievement was for 4 hours. o3o
Run 3: 100% in under 20 hours run, which I managed 10 hours. >w>
Run 4: Cheesed Steel Soul run.
Anyway, this was an incredible Metroidvania. You are almost literally dropped into the game world, not given any direction and are expected to find your way. It was a really fun experience figuring out where to go, even if in my first run things were VERY tedious exploring the map mutliple times forgetting locations I wished I could recall. =P
I HIGHLY recommend this game, it runs very well on the Switch and I only experienced one crash which may not have even been the game, no idea. =P
Definitely a game I plan on playing again in the future. I also want more sexy art of the various enemies and characters from the game. >w>

Spot in my eye that won't go away after seeing bright light.
General | Posted 7 years agoSo one week ago today I accidentally looked at the light of a bright LED flashlight. Well you know how when you look at a light and blink you see that redish blotch, well I have that but it hasn't gone away.
It's a circle that is just above the center of my left eye's vision, my vision in that circle is darkened, blurred and slightly distorted.
I tried looking this up on Google, but not being sure what exactly to search so I can't find good info. So basically why I am posting this journal is to ask, does anyone know what this is? And do you know if this can be cured?
Now it's not THAT bad, but it's just the fact that it's there it's causing me some minor stress and frustration. Also, *ahem* I have also been playing Hollow Knight in tabletop mode on my Switch a lot, so if I need to rest my left eye, like maybe getting an eyepatch I could do that.
Lastly I'd rather not have to go to a doctor, since this isn't something VERY bad and I would rather go to the doctor as a last resort. Since I don't have insurance I have to pay fully out of pocket, and if the doctor just says "just wear an eyepatch" then that is a waste of money...
So yeah, if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

Looking for an RP partner. *DO NOT SEND A NOTE, COMMENT HERE
General | Posted 7 years agoSo I am in the mood for the usual astronomical hyper RP:
http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/.....onomical-Hyper
So the usual fetishes of hyper cock, ball, rump, breasts and maybe muscle growth.
Also sounding, extreme orgasms leading to urethra stretching and cum inflation.
As well as the usual stuff I tend to draw, especially hyper veins too. >w>
I STRONGLY prefer male on male, herm on male or herm on herm. I need cocks okay? =O RPing with females just comes off boring to me personally, sorry. =/
What I am wanting is for me to play as Queen Sectonia or a male version of Sectonia if male on male is okay. >w> So you would play as either your OC or a Kirby character/enemy/boss. An insect character would be a big plus~ <3
I ONLY RP using notes on FA, so if you don't like note RP's then no need to ask.
So if you are interested let me know, BUT DO SO HERE IN THE COMMENTS! DO NOT SEND A NOTE! I will decide on who I want to RP with once I get some comments.

Rest in peace our cat Stitch...
General | Posted 7 years agoSo roughly 10-12 years ago my parents and I were driving home from somewhere and it was late, 8PM or so. As we drove we see a small animal running across the rode and into a pipe storm drain. We stopped to investigate and it was a small kitten. After a few minutes of coaxing him out of the storm drain we took him home. We named him Stitch given the way we found him, somewhat like what happens to Stitch in the first bit of Lilo and Stitch.
He was our cat for a good 10-12 years, we gave him a good happy home and he was a sweet cat. A few weeks ago however we noticed he was losing weight so we took him to the vet. The tests didn't show any of the major things were wrong with him, so they gave him some shots and some medicine for us to give him...
However his condition had not improved and he continued to just seem weaker and weaker. Today my mother made a vet appointment to have him put to sleep...
So if I have been a little off lately that's one of the reasons. I have been stressing about our poor cat Stitch.
I don't post this journal to get sympathy or "I'm sorry for your loss" comments, I just needed to vent this is all...

Eye "floaters."
General | Posted 7 years agoRandom journal. =P
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6e_m9iq-4Q
So for a long time I have had one of those in my left eye, in the top left of my vision. It's not really a problem of course, it's just kind of there and like said in the video I mostly see it when I am looking at the blue sky.
I kind of found that video to be fascinating as I know what they are called but never really read up on what causes it, so it's nice to know. =3
Also I like how the video sequed into the "blue field entopic phenomenon" as I have wondered about that as well. Sometimes learning is fun since I have experienced both of these things and it's nice to know what causes it. =3
Not really an important journal, I just saw this video and wanted to share as I found it interesting. =3 Do you have any floaters? Mine is hard to say what it looks like, a snake with arms I guess. =P

"OK KO" characters I'd like see drawn.
General | Posted 7 years agoSo there are a number of characters from the show "OK KO Let's be Heroes" that I would like to see drawn.
Wilhamena: http://ok-ko.wikia.com/wiki/Wilhamena
Cosma: http://ok-ko.wikia.com/wiki/Cosma
Mikayla: http://ok-ko.wikia.com/wiki/Mikayla
Ms. Mummy: http://ok-ko.wikia.com/wiki/Ms._Mummy
For Ms Mummy there is an outfit that she wore on a recent episode that I REALLY liked:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/jppjr0deq.....ician.png?dl=0
Since all of the characters are female what I am wanting it the usual, big breasts, maybe big rump, preferably clothed. I am seeking sizes like this:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21819843/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20978867/
Obviously I am not expecting anything to come from this journal, but I can hope. >_>

Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi.
General | Posted 7 years agoSo I recently sat down and watched this on DVD.
I will preface all of this by saying that before watching it I did watch many reviewers on YouTube speak harshly about the movie, people like WorldClassBullShitters. So yes, I went in a bit jaded and had low expectations.
I will say that it isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be, but it certainly isn't that good of a movie. I speak as a person who has watched the original trilogy, the prequel trilogy and both of the Disney brand Star Wars movies that preceed this one. I am however not a major Star Wars fan, but they are entertaining none the less.
So the movie, well as some people have mentioned the characters aren't that interesting. Even when I watched The Force Awakens completely blind Ray, Finn, Po, Kylo Ren and any other new characters were not that interesting and that holds true into TLJ. I never liked Po at all, but for as much as I don't like him it seemed like TLJ's plot was there to demonize Po.
Oh, it's his fault all of these bombers blew up. Po is a hothead that doesn't want to listen to Vice Admiral Holdo and causes a mutiny. Because of Po planning around Holdo's plan, WHICH HOLDO SAYS NOTHING ABOUT HER PLAN TO ANYONE, his own plan caused the New Order (the villains) to find out about Holdo's original plan and so on. It just seemed odd to introduce a character in TFA but then make him out to be a terrible character in TLJ. Aren't you supposed to make these characters entertaining and relatable so kids and adults want to buy the merchandise of the character?
Tangentially related Leia's reaction towards all the bombers they lost in the first battle seemed a bit off to me. You've been fighting this war for a long time, you should understand that this loss and sacrifice is part of war but she made it out to be the worst thing ever.
Holdo and Po's dialogue exchange was also a bit off to me, Holdo is a high ranking official treating a skilled pilot who is fighting alongside her as a piece of dirt.
Luke's character in this movie was also really obnoxious. Despite Darth Vader seeming PURE evil in the eyes of the characters and the audience Luke STILL saw some good in him. But Luke sees SOME evil in Ben Solo (AKA Kylo Ren) and suddenly thoughts of killing Ben entered his mind. So most of the scenes with Luke were just kind of there and not that interesting. You know if Mark Hammil disagrees with Luke's character in TLJ that something is wrong with it. =P
The Kanto Byte scene. >_> I have heard of MANY people even fans of the movie speak of this scene seeming like it has no place in the movie and could be excluded, and they are right. Since it's all Holdo's fault for not saying anything of her plan to her fellow rebels it leads us to this completely unneeded part of the movie. Say what you want about The Phantom Menace but at least the podrace scene had a reason to exist and was much more exciting than the Kanto Byte scene here...
Most of the lightsaber fight scenes weren't that interesting to me, Ray always looks like a kid flailing her lightsaber around haphazardly. =P Again at least the prequel trilogy had some VERY nice lightsaber fight scenes in it!
I know I am skipping over very many things, but 2.5 hours of dull movie it's hard to recall everything.
Am I missing any small thing? Oh yeah, Rose Tico was pretty useless and her sacrifice at the end only served to create yet another plot contrivance. A lot of this movie seemed to be based on plot contrivances.
So if I were to give this movie a superfluous number rating, it'd be somewhere between a 5-7. It's not really a 2/10 movie, but it is not a 9/10 movie. So yeah, I didn't like it, but I didn't hate it. I surely want be rewatching it any time soon and I dare say I would sooner watch the prequel trilogy.

Bastion (Overwatch) Pose idea.
General | Posted 7 years agoSo Bastion from Overwatch is a character I have wanted to draw ever since I saw this image:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21929357/
I wanna draw Bastion as a hyper femboi, with sizes like this:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17773785/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19157310/
So basically a little reserved size wise.
Of course I suck with poses, so if anyone has an image of a pose that would work well that'd be nice.

Queen Sectonia Sprite
General | Posted 7 years agoSo I recently got back into Perler Bead spriting, and well I was going through my folder of nearly 200 Sectonia pictures and believed this one would make a good Perler Bead sprite:
http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images.....60/601/e78.png
So I started with making a sprite of it first:

I just want to know if it looks okay. I do tend to limit to 145x145 pixels as I have a limit to how big I can work on as well as iron on, and 145x145 pixels is just below that limit.
I think the main thing I am wondering is if the wings look fine. It is worth noting that I went with her canon wing design:
https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/kirby/images/0/01/KTD_Sectonia_Crystal.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140819175600&path-prefix=en
And I altered some of the colors to match Sectonia's in game design.
I for one am rather happy with this, I just want some other input in case there is something I may have missed. =3

Need some help with a pose idea.
General | Posted 7 years agoSo one thing I decided I wanted to draw lately was something with Queen Sectonia from Kirby Triple Deluxe:
http://kirby.wikia.com/wiki/Queen_Sectonia
My idea is that she is anthro and is as muscular as my Kazooie picture:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17301929/
But I am bad at thinking up or settling on a pose so I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas? I do know I want her to be flexing at least one arm.
Now please note it is VERY hard for me to visualize a pose based on a description, so a picture reference would be MUCH more preferred if possible.
So if anyone has any good ideas on a pose that would be nice.

Cagney Carnation sprites. *opinions needed*
General | Posted 7 years agoSo recently I got back into Perler Beading. Well I decided to take a picture of Cagney Carnation from Cuphead, resized it to a good sprite size and then made a sprite from that.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/45eghjxbt.....haded.png?dl=0
Here's what I am wanting some opinions on.
Do you think I should keep it flat colored and not shaded thus fitting in with the game?
Or do you think shaded it looks good?
The only other Perler Bead sprite I have with flat coloring is Vivian: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/23529570/ But do you think Cagney looks okay flat colored?

What is your favorite video game series?
General | Posted 7 years agoBy series I mean any game series with AT LEAST 3 games.
So be it Donkey Kong Country, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, Halo, Grand Theft Auto, Uncharted, Prince of Persia, >w> Assassin's Creed, Mario, Legend of Zelda or whatever.
Before I get to my favorite I wanna talk about some noteworthy ones.
Super Mario. It's quite a large series, NES, Gameboy, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U Switch and everything in between. My favorites of the series include Super Mario World (SNES), Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Odyssey.
Legend of Zelda. Fun fact, every major Nintendo console and handheld has a Zelda game, and I have played almost all of them. My favorites include Link to the Past, Link's Awakening and Link Between Worlds.
There are other series with a number of games in them I like, Castlevania, Metroid, Megaman and many others.
But when I think of my all time favorite series I keep coming back to one certain one. One I have not mentioned so far. Kirby.
As a kid my favorite game was Kirby's Adventure. I also loved Kirby Super Star as well. But when I think about my three favorite Kirby games I realize just how much I like them and the series as a whole.
3: Kirby's Return to Dreamland. I played this again recently and was blown away by how good it was. I had played it at least twice before, but for some reason that recent run it felt so amazing. It was so good it even replaced Kirby Super Star as my third favorite Kirby game!
2: Kirby Planet Robobot. Though this isn't my #1 favorite I will not argue that this may very well be THE BEST Kirby game ever made. This takes the formula created in Kirby's Return to Dreamland and perfects it. The Robobot gimmick of the game is not all about theatrics and is solely about being an extension of Kirby's abilities, and it works perfectly in that regard. Plus the robot aesthetics work VERY well in the game's favor. =3
There is also all the references (AKA fanservice) to older Kirby games, but the inclusion of these references makes since given their context, so it never feels shoehorned in unlike with similar moments in Kirby Star Allies.
So all in all I LOVE this game. But there are things about #1 that I like a little bit more.
1: Kirby Triple Deluxe. Of the Kirby's Return to Dreamland styled games this was actually the first one I played. So is there some nostalgia to it? Possibly so, but there is one thing about this game I like a little bit more over Planet Robobot.
The final boss, Sectonia vs Star Dream, well they are obviously two completely different fights, but as a fight that is a true test of you skills as KIRBY I have to go with Sectonia. My first attempt with her was a tough one since I hadn't experienced anything of that difficulty in a Kirby game. Since I hadn't played Kirby's Return to Dreamland before Triple Deluxe I wasn't used to a Kirby game throwing something of actual difficulty at me, so it was exciting to see something like that. Not to mention the rather hard True Arena.
Anyway, the Star Dream fight just comes off as a little tedious since you have to chip away at its health while the gameplay mimics Star Fox. Not a bad fight mind you, I just prefer battling as Kirby with whatever copy ability of your choice.
Another thing is Sectonia is an original character as opposed to Star Dream which is a reference to a previous Kirby game. That's not a bad thing, but Sectonia being original does add to her being a little more special and unique.
Now it's not just the games being fun that make me say I like the Kirby series the most, there are MANY things I like from the series.
The music, from the first game and even Star Allies to a minor degree have great music. I do know I have been obsessing over this track from Planet Robobot lately:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VaQltXJxN8
Next is the graphics. You can keep your gritty realism, give me bright, colorful and abstract any day! Whenever I think of great looking backgrounds I think of this one from Kirby's Return to Dreamland:
https://i.ytimg.com/vi/zifcuJkXPhk/.....resdefault.jpg
You can see the curve of the small planetoid while it orbits so you can also see the landmasses moving, and all with a sunset going on as well. Oh man I LOVE that background.
The character, enemy and boss design. I can't believe just how many creatures from the Kirby series I like. Only Pokemon can beat it in shear number of liked characters!
The juxtaposition of Kirby vs. "Eldritch abominations." This is something that makes Kirby's cutesy design work so well. Everything is cutesy but the final boss is Zero 2 blood and all, Magolor's demonic appearance, or a wish granting machine planet that wants to destroy all living beings in the universe. Since Kirby himself is so cutesy it makes the final boss having such a stark contrast work especially well. And heck, when you get right down to it Kirby's Adventure for the NES did this all the way back in 1993 with the Nightmare Wizard, and they have been doing it ever since.
And of course the gameplay. Most games are very tight and responsive. Most of them are free of glitches and bugs. Most of them run very well. Kirby has a pretty decent track record to say for sure. =3

8 years of posting art on FA. =O
General | Posted 7 years agoSo I recently looked into my "stats" section and noticed that my very first image was posted exactly 8 years ago: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3622958/
8 years of commenting, interacting with people, making friends and over 1,600 images.
I know I am certainly proud of how much I have improved, though my ability to think up poses is still lacking and I am certainly leagues below some artists here on FA. But as I have said before, the whole reason I do art is because there are certain things and characters that I want to see drawn and since I do not wish to buy commissions I draw these things. Even if my way of drawing it isn't going to be nearly as good as what others could do, at the very least it is acceptable to me. =3
And for the heck of it here are my most favorite images:
10: 2 Xamisos: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/26628075/

Looking for hyper giraffe art. =O
General | Posted 8 years agoSo I have liked giraffes for a long time, and as such I like porn of anthro giraffes. >w> This is obvious since I made myself a sexy giraffe OC:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/23992312/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24001480/
There's also of course Gracie from Animal Crossing, specifically male versions of him. >w>
Nina from Camp Lazlo is pretty nice too: http://camplazlo.wikia.com/wiki/Nina Just age her up and give her sexy curves. >w>
Ingrid from My Gym Partner's a Monkey is nice too: http://mygympartneramonkey.wikia.co.....Ingrid_Giraffe just make her neck a little thinner. =U
And lately another giraffe has been catching my eye, Geoffrey the Giraffe of Toys R Us, specifically his 1999 version. I would link an image of him but Google Images removed the "view image" button thanks to one site whining about it. =P
Anyway, the reason I post this journal is because I simple would like to see some more art of hyper female, herm and male giraffes. Could be one of the characters I mentioned above or just a generic giraffe drawn all sexy and hyper~ Interestingly the one I am most interested in is Geoffrey, I REALLY want hyper art of him. =O This is REALLY good: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/26761084/ but I want more specifically male~
Obviously this journal is just talking into the wind and nothing will come of it, but you know, I like doing it anyway since there is no harm in it. =3

Kirby Star Allies: The Little Kirby That Couldn't...
General | Posted 8 years agoSo I am not going to be very kind to this game. =U
The game does have very nice graphics. The AI for the partners is okay, not perfect but acceptable. The controls are great as per what you would expect from a Kirby game. But that's about all the good I have to say about this game. >_>
The main gimmick of the game is the Allies. The gimmick isn't terrible, but Kirby's Return to Dreamland had a multiplayer aspect to it as well, but the main focus of the game was single player. There are times in Star Allies where you NEED three allies to perform certain things necessary for progression.
A big issue with having 3 allies with you is the camera does not stay focused on Kirby and has to be zoomed out to focus on all of your allies. This can lead to you trying to move forward, but you are almost against the edge of the screen and then get hit by something you could not see in time.
Furthermore when fighting bosses while having 3 allies the battle can be very hectic and sometimes I lost Kirby in the chaos so I end up getting hit.
In various Kirby games, Kirby's Dreamland 2 and 3, Kirby 64, Return to Dreamland, Triple Deluxe, Planet Robobot and others have it to where getting to see the true ending or unlocking optional levels was tied to collecting the hidden object(s) in the stages. Star Allies has puzzle pieces which only fill out images to look at. These puzzle pieces unlock NOTHING else and aren't even required to achieve 100% on your game file.
The game is easy. Kirby does get a lot of flack for being an easy game, but this game seems to take it to another level. It's not like Kirby's Epic Yarn, but it's still pretty easy compared to previous main games in the series. The few deaths I did have were from bottomless pits during autoscrolling sections.
Whenever you defeat midbosses they leave behind floating hats that last for 5-10 seconds. The issue I have with these is that if Kirby or any of your allies touch the hat they will transform into that ability! So if you have an ability you like or an ally setup you like well screw you, you have this ability now!
Load times. Seems like load times took a hit for the graphics. Every time you go through a door there is a 2-5 second loading screen. Considering Triple Deluxe and Robobot had very short load screens seeing them here feels like a major step back...
How much content? NOT MUCH! I usually do one world a day in games like this to make it last. Well lo and behold, it's been 5 days since I bought the game if you include today and the 16th when it came out... When I beat the final boss and got the credits I could not believe it was already over... But considering my lack of enjoyment for the game maybe that is a blessing in disguise...
So yeah, I did not like this game. I wanted it to be good, but it's not. It's not terrible but it certainly isn't up to par with games like Superstar, Return to Dreamland, Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot. Most reviews give Star Allies a 7.5/10 and I can honestly say that's about what it deserves...
