Has anyone else heard of it? I wouldn't be surprised but I wish I could figure out what to do. I'm not saying there is, and I really wish I had some proof, but how do you even work around this? I'm very hesitant on staying here further.. sigh, they say don't keep all your eggs in one basket and I really wish I had the energy not to.

i've been mulling it over for the past couple days. i don't want to drive away customers coz i guess i'm known for being cheap and fairly fast. i look at my art and cringe coz i don't think its necessarily worth a 5 dollar increase (20 for chibis, 35 for fullbodies) much less 10.

as progress has gone, i'm about half way from paying back my mom for my new computer (once current comms are done of course). of course, my mother says my art is worth more. parents are generally like that.

i dont aim to really live off my commissions. I know i'm no where near popular enough to warrant that. it'd be nice, no doubt. going into a 9-5 with a degree but zero experience is daunting to say the least. my parents always emphasized education, education is your priority. but i'm definitely behind of my peers in terms of making it out in the world. ahh.. its depresses me.

despite all that.. i'd still like to be more professional with my comms.

anyone who takes comms at least semi-regularly, do you use invoices? i know customers sending you money gives them opportunities to tip you but when i wasn't doing invoices it happened rarely. I know some folks would be willing to tip, but alas. ;; also, that some people don't turn off shipping option. can you even turn that option off??

i'm assuming the paypal outlook towards furries is still very poor. that's why i'm kinda hesitant to do nsfw, though i really want to. tho i offer them, its very rare i get orders like that unless its from friends lmao ;w; aaa.. i'm still mostly known for my chibis. they've gone a bit static lately imo, i wanna practice more dynamic poses. interestingly i'm getting more full body comms. i'm super happy about that, makes me feel less like a one-trick pony ;w;

i'm finally prety much set up! i got comp up, net up, all that good stuff. these past couple months since my father passed have been heavy on me, and i have a couple commissioners that have waited a long time for their art so its back to work for me! ;w;

in other news.. i don't really like where i live now.. xD it takes forever to get to places, and it feels like a huge waste of gas. but alas, mother couldn't stay in the home after father's passing, so i suppose its for the best. i'm much closer to big texas cities so who knows! maybe you'll see me at local conventions with an artist table!

A lot of things have happened in the last month and a half. My father passing away, money troubles, and then some.
Now my mother wants to move away. We've been living here for 20 or so years, and it isn' the best house, far from it :c but i'm used to it and its comfy. If it weren't for me and my brothers stalling her, we would've been packing up and moving -now-. bleh;;;

that being -said- i'm trying to work on the last commissions and i won't be able to resume them until after i get settled in the new place. its p much in the middle of nowhere, so we have to get satellite internet which i heard is only really 'okay' and goes out easily with rain. it'll be enough for commissions but i guess i can scrap the idea of streaming drawing. :c i mean, idk, won't know until we try it out. i just hope it won't be too bad.

a nice perk is that i'm much closer to major texas cities. MUCH closer, much easier to go to cons and other stuff. just gotta balance all that along with getting a job. so much to do, so much to see >< blargh.

I'm going out of town until September 8th. I won't have any computer access during that time, so it'll suck;;

As 2014 has come to a close, I've come to realize some things..

I am primarily a chibi artist. I'm more known for it, and for the most part, they are the majority of my commissions. So, I am taking away the sketch, lineart, and flats options, along with the full body options.

I will be raising my prices. As my parents keep going in and out of the hospital, its basically been decided that I will become a fulltime caretaker. Less time for commissions. I won't be able to take as much as often so.. also, I feel that my chibis are expressive enough and nice enough for a price raise.

Slots will become limited. From now on I will announce that I will be taking commissions a day or so before they will be available.

I hope that with all this I will also be able to draw stuff for myself. OC art, fanart, etc etc.

I also hope to upload more on IB and dA. Maybe Weasyl too, but that's a lower priority than the former two.

I'll be out of town for the rest of the week. Things have been hectic lately. Mother and Father both going to the hospital within a week of each other, and mother going back this past Sunday.
They're fine, both are home. I just have some more responsibilities under my belt.

After that, closer to Christmas time, I'll be going out of town again. I'm not sure for how long, though.
