Because there definitely was one. No one here had a warning either. It looks like an apocalypse hit outside. Downed trees and powerlines, houses without roofs. My neighbor had a huge tree branch thrown through the passenger side of their car. Trees fell through houses and onto people and trapped some of them, but somehow no one got killed as far as I know. And to top it all off, there's no power for the whole county, and last I heard it'll be that way until Tuesday at least.

So.
I've got all the ychs done, but it'll be a minute until I can upload them. I'm posting from work right now. Luckily I can charge my phone here. There's only a handful of businesses with power right now and I am a little irritated that no one heard anything about the incoming storm

I am trash. We know this. But we were also almost trash that's been sitting in humid rain for a while under a mountain of debt.

Without getting into crazy detail:
Money problems. The only way I could get back on top of it all was to basically quit FA and focus on nothing but work. Granted, it would have been much easier for me to get rid of my dogs because they are food vacuums and vet bills. But I can't just leave them. They're basically my kids.

SO

That left the only other option which was:

Work and sleep.
NO spending.
Eat ramen 5ever

I have literally been going to work (with 2 jobs) and coming home and going to bed for work the next day. So if you ask about what I've been doing, there's your answer. Not much, and SO so much at the same time. If you would like details then please message me privately and I will give you the full explanation. Those of you who are still watching certainly deserve it. But its not something I want to post publicly.

Hi guys, well the demon of debt has struck me again and I've been without internet for a good while. I've been busy either working or sleeping and nothing in between. As it stands, I have no internet at home so I snagged some free WiFi out in town to upload the sketches I did whats basically years ago at this point.

I have no idea how long this will take to get my finances together. One thing after another keeps happening and I don't have a way to make my car or insurance payment. Honestly the phone is still on only because I need it for work. But hopefully things will come together soon and I can be reunited with you lovelies. I miss you all!

I'm sorta back now. Back at work at least. So to celebrate returning to normal amd to pass the time, post your characters for some lazy work sketches. This will be done in between customers and maintenance, but they'll all be done today. And the best part is they're free!

So I've just started being able to walk again, but not for very long and I can't sit up for long periods of time either so I havent been able to draw.

As if that wasnt enough one of the puppies we have had a seizure last night so my husband and I just got back from the vets office and I am wiped out. She's gonna be okay but that's another 80 dollars out of my account.

I'll be back to normal hopefully soon and I'll be doing catch ups and a free adoptanles event or free ych event for multiple people to make up for my absence. In the meantime I want to thank you all for your patience. I really appreciate it

Friend is planning a stream and a freebie!

So a few months ago I fell off a horse and almost broke my back. Got away with a crushed nerve and squished vertabrae and ruptured disc though. And since then a large part of my back has been completely numb but otherwise fine other than occasional pain.

Except somehow today, while picking up a puppy that weighed no more than 8 pounds, something in my back felt like it buckled and then suddenly I was on the floor and I couldn't get up. Husband had to carry me to the bed.

So here I am. Stuck. Incapable of any movement. Waiting for an urgent care to open tomorrow because we can't afford the ER.

So while I'll try to get up and post some raffles and the watcher milestone ych, I cant guarantee it'll bet exactly on time. Right now I can't even move enough to reach up and turn the air off so I'm sitting here freezing

So I got on these new meds and they make me really dizzy, lightheaded, nauseous, and unable to focus. I haven't really been able to do much since I got on them. So while the raffles will stay scheduled, the results for them for the winners may slow down. My motor skills are currently fucked, which I should add all of this is supposed to go away in a week or so, so I dont want the prizes to end up looking terrible.

So prizes might slow down a bit until my senses arent completely chaotic but raffles will not stop

Guys I'm so excited!!
My dog had 8 puppies 3 days ago and they are all SO CUTE
The mom is a full blooded blue pit (named Rayna) and the dad (Aggro) is half German Shepherd half Great Pyrenees. They inspire a lot of my artwork too.
BUT I'M STILL FREAKING OUT THEY'RE ALL ADORABLE
And gigantic good god.
Rayna is 70 pounds and Aggro is easily over 100. 3 days old and they look like they're a week old.

So yeah just had to vent my excitement for a sec

So I love snakes. Venomous or not I love them. They're beautiful, incredible predators, and can be so silly and affectionate. But where I live people will go out of the way to run them over and kill them.

Today I swerved around a baby copperhead on the road, but before I could turn around the person behind me hit it and it was gonna die. Guts everywhere and it was thrashing around. So I killed it with a knife I had to give it a quick death. But it absolutely breaks my heart to do it and I want to start saving them without risking getting bitten. So far I've been lucky or they haven't been venomous, but I want to get a snake hook. A good one for big snakes runs about 40-50 dollars. So for this I'm offering 50 dollars as a set price for:

So I'm an assistant manager at a convenience store and last night we had two customers come in and buy 70 dollars worth of groceries with an EBT card. They go to pay, and the register charges them whats left on their card, which is 25 dollars and some change.

They still owe 45 dollars on their bill and have nothing to cover the rest. Its also already past closing, there are 5 more people in line, and now they want me to go through 70 bucks worth of groceries and void items until it equals the 25 they spent.

I cant refund them because when using a card here, you can only give cash as a refund. I cant give them cash from an EBT card. So I cant just cancel the transaction. Voiding items line by line would take too long because we have a time limit to leave once it's past close or an alarm goes off and the police are called automatically

Customers are getting angry
I've already worked 10 hours
I literally do not have time to fix it

So I paid the rest of the 40 dollars, even though I'm broke as well on the promise they would come back with cash in the morning.

Sure.

I got both their numbers
The deposit would be correct tonight
Everyone could be happy

Except now today it's past morning, my shift is about to end, they haven't showed up, both their numbers are suddenly disconnected, and I am sitting in the break room wondering why the fuck I try to help people
