Posted 2 years agoWanting to start fresh but not completely.
I absolutely love my username, and I really don't want to start over. SO This account is going to be specifically for commissions only, if I ever do them again that is. It may just become a storage account. lmao
But, that's only cause I want a fresh gallery start. I've been playing around with my drawing techniques and purging through my characters. Ya know, I just want a fresh start into things. I want to be able to draw things that I actually really enjoy and want to try.

Posted 2 years agoI will be leaving the art community for some time after I finish them...
The stress that comes to me just at the thought of how long these things have been on my to do list anymore. My mind goes into a panic.
For so long I wasnt able to do any art because I was so tired all the time from my pregnancy and working 50 hr weeks and now that she's here. I still struggle to have any inspiration because of my postpartum and working still.
I'm one of Three Managers left at my location
I work a full time job
I'm a first time mom
My relationship has been getting torn apart this last month
I'm mentally not okay at all, I'm really really not and I'm getting so pissed at myself anymore.
I barely eat or drink, Ive been putting my baby and work ahead of everything else.
There's to much happening and I'm not even taking care of myself.
SO badly I want to get you guys these pieces of art, but I can't give you guys good pieces of art if I can't have any inspiration or love to put into them. Today was the first day I finally felt inspiration and I just decided alright, I'm gonna work on some art, not gonna check anything else so I can stay calm and relaxed. And I did it, I drew a piece of art for the first time in a year practically and I was over the moon.
But then came the stress again once I opened some unwelcoming messages.
At this point I can't deal with it, I know my communication has been horrible but I have a life offline that is busy all the time. I never have time for myself anymore- I- UGJRESHOIURSHI
I can't find anymore words, at this point I'm just going to finish the pieces, send them and go offline.
One day I may come back, I don't think I will do commissions ever again though. They were enjoyable to do for a long time for you guys, but now that I can't get them out. I can't do it. I can not take anything more, if I feel that there going to take as long as they are now. I'm done at this point.
I'm sorry guys..

Posted 3 years agoI really was hoping we'd be able to pull things off this month, but with everything going on with baby Lilith and being out of work and not having time to focus on art. I'm getting very stressed the closer to rent being due and her being home. We are strapped beyond belief and I don't know what else to do..
If anyone can help at all or spread the word we would greatly appreciate it so so much. I wish there was more I could do, I'm just so defeated right now 🥺🥺

MY BABY GIRL IS HERE 😭💖
She was born December 30th at 8:45 am and she is gorgeous 🥹💖 I'm so happy and excited to be a mom and can't wait to share more about everything with you all later! I know I've been offline pretty much for the entire pregnancy, and things have not been finished. But it's been very busy irl and a emotional roller coaster ride this entire journey.

Posted 3 years agoI hate that all I have lately is updates and not actually posts but I HAVE to post something so you guys know what's going on.
I've really been trying to take time on working on art, I really am but it's hard to get anything done still.
I just hit my 7 month mark for pregnancy on Tuesday and I'm working 50 hrs weeks still at my job.
I'm exhausted, I feel like I have no time to get anything done and I've been extremely stressed the closer it's getting to her being born.
I don't feel that prepared still and were barely even able to make it this month.
SO, with that said. If anyone does want a refund, please message me and I will put you on a list to reimburse you asap. I'm currently $120 over drawn until payday because I was not warned/discussed with of wanting a refund before hand. So please, let me know. I'm already stressed af 😭😭😭 anyone who doesn't want a refund will still be getting their work done <3

Posted 3 years agoMy deepest and sincerest apologies on anyone who has been waiting on art or responses in general.
I feel horrible as I have never really disappeared off the internet like this before and I'm not trying to, just been really busy in real life which is what I will be updating you all on!
Life has been crazy busy offline these last few months, way more than I anticipated....
Some of you may remember me being super excited at the beginning of the year, finding out we were having a baby and then ultimately ended up being crushed when I found out we were miscarrying very early on.
I didn't post much about the miscarriage, just one vent piece. I just had no idea how to process it, I didn't want to talk to anyone about what was going on because we were so excited and then...yea..
BUT, now we are getting more into the exciting stuff, because this is where all the crazy has come into play!
Not to to long after the miscarriage, because we did keep trying!
We are OFFICIALLY Pregnant! I am now 19 Weeks today, My belly is getting so big and we already know the gender now!!!
I will say that first trimester absolutely wiped me out, I was so tired whenever I got home from my job I didn't want to do anything else. I tried so hard to get online, but my motivation wasn't there.
Thankfully my motivation is picking up more, however I'm still working a fulltime job on top of being pregnant, it's not been easy.
During my first Trimester I was in intense training at work for 4 weeks to become kitchen manager and now the last 3 weeks I've been officially kitchen manager at my work. There has been a lot added to my plate since taking that roll at work on top of being pregnant as well.
Just lots of stuff has been happening and going on in my life. I want to respond to everyone and get everyones art out to them as soon as I can. But like I said, I have so much on my plate right now it's been hard to balance it! ;;
Because of this, I've taken this thought into a lot of consideration...
I really would hate to do this, but I will most likely be closing commissions/YCH's permanently until I can get in a good mental head space and not have so much on my plate. Most works from now on once my to-do list is complete will be mostly personal works and maybe, MAYBE some request journals, just remember when I do them not all requests are guaranteed ;;
Again, thank you all so much for your patience, I deeply apologize again for any inconvience and hope to respond to everyone as soon as I can and get that to do list finished!

Posted 4 years agoTook a little break this last week to get stuff caught up at home and a family emergency that came up.
Some people on here may know about my dog Bella. I used to post stuff on her back when I first started in 2013 and I of course talked about her to my friends on here. She was a very important part in our family. Me and my brother were always around her.
We had to make the hard choice last week in putting her down and...the emotions oh my God. It was really great like everyone was there for her ya know and she was happy in her last moments. But it was really really hard. I was so lucky I was even able to drive back to my home state to see her and I can't thank my coworkers enough for giving me that chance. She was the happiest puppy and I know she is happier and isn't suffering anymore 🥺💖 it was a long 13 years with her and I'm gonna miss her a lot. Might look into getting some art pieces done of her sometime, maybe get a cute piece of her with the family done as a gift for my parents and brother <3
I will post a separate journal looking for a artist later though so it's separate from this life update//

Posted 4 years agoI feel HORRIBLE right now. I am half way to visit my family in another state and I forgot my laptop 😭
All the commissions I had for Christmas were gonna be done by tomorrow night but I am not able to work on them since I don't have my laptop.
THEY HOWEVER WILL BE GETTING SENT OUT SUNDAY. I'm back home Sunday and will be getting them sent then. It's a day later, but I hope you can all understand and be patient <3

There is a few pieces I have found so far that I will be re-doing INCLUDING some old YCH's !
Some of them give me inspiration to try something new so I will be making a list below of the ones I will
be re-drawing one day and would like to look back on. Then there is some that just spark little ideas for a completely different piece c;

Life Updates!~ <3
Posted 4 years agoSO, a lot of you have probably noticed I am becoming more active again!! Been sending out a lot of commissions and posting again!
I wanted to wait to post a journal until I got a bit more consistent again like things are getting now c:
One of the biggest things that has changed is I left my job about two weeks ago. I did get a new one, I've been doing a bit with them this last week and fully start this weekend.
But things were getting bad working at my job. Everyone was leaving to the point that when my boss told me he was quitting and my two cooks. I decided I would leave as well. Working a super busy fast food place all by myself was a no thank you. I wasn't paid enough and it was so stressful.
During my last week at work though, my fiance and I got ourselves our first apartment! Yay!!
Finally moved into our own space, I actually feel motivated to do things. I have a couch I can actually walk out to instead of having only a bed as our furniture haha. (We lived in a very small shed that acted as a tiny home at my fiances uncles for a while)
Makes it a lot more motivated having space to be able to do things and actually cook and clean.
With all of this change I am hoping to be able to draw much much more like I was before.
My motivation is back and my art block is gone. I've got so many things sketched up that I can't wait to finish and share with you all!
I hope you have all been doing well and had a good Thanksgiving last week!

I miss every one of you and getting to chat, working has been a lot after being out of a job for so long. Posted 4 years agoSo I have a tattoo appointment on Monday. I've been waiting a year for this piece cause it's a piece of my beloved cat who went missing and now I'm panicking. It was originally gonna be Wednesday but they changed it to Monday which is now the day before my payday. I asked my fiance if it was okay and he said don't worry about it we got it covered because the price was upped too.
Well now that it's 2 days before and I feel shamed for even getting this piece I've wanted so bad because he said there's nothing he can do and I should've saved better when I did. I saved all my tips from work up as much as I could. But with the price change I'm now $400 - $500 short and I'm freaking out. I waited so long for this piece that means so much to me and now it feels like it's never gonna happen.
I will be selling characters from my toyhouse to make extra money. Only ones off limits are the ones in my forever home folder. I may open some commissions later but I really don't want to add more on to my current list if I can.

It has been a hot minute, I thank everyone who has been so patiently waiting for art!
The last two weeks I had no time at all to get online and it's been stressing me out fff. I miss drawing and working on pieces for you guys and posting daily.
Works been good- But in all honesty I think it has set me back a few steps.
I make less money working at sonic than I do making pieces that I love. I dread going to work sometimes because I don't see the point, but I keep working because it makes me more social which I need. I can't be home alone or I get depressed cause I don't leave my bed since it's a tiny house there's only one room to be in.
I love working at sonic, I do. But my goal of moving out feels like it has been pushed back now. They just don't pay enough and I'm about ready to look for something new.
Besides working though.
Today I became a official Oregon resident! YAy <3
Now I am on my computer for the first time, in what feels like forever, working on art.
I will be doing art fight still this year, more so as warm up pieces in between commissions. Since commissions are my top priority right now! ;v;
