I'm so excited for the day c:
We're a bit strapped, but I think we managed some fun plans for the day!
We're gonna go by the dispensary and get coffee, might go out and shoot my new hunting rifle, maybeee. Not sure yet! Haha Then We're gonna get sushi to eat at home with a few drinks and play some overwatch c:
Then next weekend I'll be home to see my family, yay 💖💖😍Birthday wishlist <3

Posted 4 years agoSo first 3 days of work went very well!
I'm so exhausted though haha
I Just got my schedule for next week tho and uhhh I might talk to my boss about this. But they set me for a full 40 hours this week when I told him I just wanted a part time of 24 to 30 hrs a week lol.
And they range from like 11am to 7pm so I'm probably going to bring it up. Because I still need to have time for art as well AND trying to keep me weekends for me and the hubby 🥺
That and with how fast I'm already exhausted from these few days (mind you I have not worked in a year because I was so ill last year!) That those 8hr shifts might just demolish me ffffUpdates! <3

But with that I will have a new updated schedule coming for my art since I will be working now.
Art might be a bit slow this week since I'm getting settled into work. However I will be posting stuff this weekend and starting to get things on track again <3

Sorry I haven't been active this last week, I just got back from house sitting late last night!
I think going back home for the week was pretty good for me, I got a lot of time to think and figure things out for myself.
Upon doing so I have also decided I will be getting a part time job soon.
Right now I am now I am not in a state where I can fully support my self on art alone and I stresses me out sometimes to where I procrastinate which just makes it even worse.
Doing this will take some stress off my shoulders so I can actually do more pieces that aren't just commissions.
With doing this as well I will be closing commissions to limited slots and doing mostly ych's probably from now on.
Limiting them will also help with my stress so I can keep on a steady schedule. Cause once I fall a little behind I just go in a panic where I just mind blank, I can't figure out what I'm doing or of what to draw.
So overall this will be a big step for helping me schedule better and also to get out again.
Since I got sick last year I haven't worked at all besides doing commissions.
It's been almost a year and I'm ready to start working somewhere again. Me and my fiance really wanna get a place this year and start a family at some point. But right now working at home is not cutting it and it's not very good on my mental health right now.
I've got one friend out here thankfully, but 99% of the time I do not leave our little tiny house at all except to get groceries. I'm tired of feeling like wasting away in here and not knowing anyone. (I'm such a social person it's eating at me)
I am ready for the next step in my chapter which is getting a job again.
Of course I will still be posting a bunch of stuff. But Commissions and YCH's will be limited for the time being so that things WILL get done on time. These last few batches of commissions have been a bit slower cause of me getting stuck in my thoughts and I feel bad. I wanna get things on track again.
Overall this is all good news. Just a bit of changes to make things easier on me and also so you guys can get cute art still and quick turn arounds when needed <3
Haven't figured out all the places I'm applying yet, but I have a few in mind that I'm hoping I can get a part time position at! ;; UPDATES / POSTING LATER

Currently I am in Washington house sitting as of this last weekend for my grandparents, just got settled in and finished visiting with everyone so I will be working on art tonight and the next few days while I'm here!

I have a bunch of overstock left back at home that I will be picking up soon of Prints/Buttons/ect. that I sold at con last year and the year before! ;v;
Some of them are current products I would like to keep selling and making if I can- But the prints I need to clear out for new ones ;O
So I guess my question is- should I open a etsy or a shop to put them in?~
I really enjoying making them and would love to sell more- But I've only ever sold them directly at my booths at conventions and Idk when the next convention I'm gonna go to is gonna be yet ;;;;

Posted 5 years agoSo the day after Thanksgiving I was starting to have a sore throat and cough.
No biggie, it could be the flu possibly.
Well yesterday we found out my bfs coworker who we've been seeing this last week.
His family tested positive for covid so we went in and got covid tests yesterday as well.
Since then my coughing has been so bad. They prescribed me a new inhaler for my asthma. Sometimes my chest just makes wheezing noises when I breathe. I've not left my bed in the last 24hrs I am so exhausted.
Prayers that this will past fast :(
Quarantined in my house for the next 2 weeks and waiting on results to get back.
No biggie, it could be the flu possibly.

Posted 5 years agoI took a little break over the weekend- Yesterday took a emotional toll on me though.
My oldest cat (She's about 4 now 5 in April) and she's been missing two weeks as of yesterday and I started to think the worst :(
We have so many coyotes and bobcats around here, and rattle snakes.
So yesterday I worried the worst, I'm still hoping she comes home but my worry and sadness is getting worse that she could be gone....
I have pieces to send out to people, and also comments to respond to. So I will be doing so later tonight and tomorrow.
Emotionally I just can't think so I'm just gonna draw and respond to stuff when I can later! ;; <3NEW WIGGLE ICON YCH COMING SOON!

Posted 5 years agoYesterday I had the absolute worst migraine ever, oml!
Now that I'm feeling good again though I am finishing up final details on pieces and getting them sent out today and tomorrow!
So all of the Cozy scarf YCH icons should all be out by tomorrow evening and some larger pieces will be coming out as well!! (Some finished Ref sheets and chibi's)
