So I got a commission recently involving my tubby bangaa meeting a similar tubby lizard. I check the commissioner's side of the submission and the very first comment he gets is "yeah, called it"

I went to respond to the guy, only to find out that I was blocked! WTF I say? I check their profile and they are not even familiar to me. I browse a bit more on their page and I found this:

"If you have a bunch of stuff in your gallery I hate, don't be surprised if I block you. I HATE extreme stuff (Like gore/removal of body parts, and other gross shit like that)"

If that's the reason why this stranger blocked me, then he has skin that's thinner than Donald Trump! What, does he go and block every single person on FA the moment he's see something in the person's gallery he doesn't like? That's not how blocking works! You still have to see stuff via thumbnails and artist WILL draw stuff that you may hate because they were commissioned for it!

Just a friendly reminder to be careful when sending pics of your RL dick (or anyone's dicks for that matter) to other people. For as long as I can remember, "grow a thick skin" was everyone's go to reply whenever someone didn't like being verbally abused. Sure, you can brush it off, but unless you have the patience of a saint, most people CAN'T ignore something forever. To paraphrase what Jim Sterling said about growing a thick skin:

"A thick skin is just that. Thick. It's not impervious. It can wear down and erode over time, leaving the person raw. So the next time you tell someone to calm down after flinging shit at them, don't be surprised if they suddenly snap at you."

People simply want to insult everyone they feel like without any repercussions and tell people to "get a thick skin" if they so much as get annoyed. They'll cry about "safe spaces" and "bubbles" to mock those people, yet is it any wonder why we have so many people so miserable and irritable to the point where they don't want to socialize with anyone? Just remember, kids; a thick skin is only a layer to protect yourself with. It's not the end all solution to people that constantly harass you.

Today was somewhat hectic at work. I was stuck doing transactions on the drive thru all day but it wasn't bad. The last customer I had, hoo boy. She gave me a bunch of checks to deposit in her business account and after I processed the last one, I saw another check for $10 that wasn't on the deposit slip. I asked her if it was for a deposit with the rest of the checks. She gave me the most rudest yes I ever seen. Whatever, I thought. I processed the small check as a separate deposit since the account number written was different. After all was said and done, this lady flips the fuck out and is yelling at me on how I was supposed to cash the check instead of depositing it. I was apologizing and trying to calm her down saying I was gonna get the transaction corrected, but she kept going on and on. I had to get my supervisor over to correct the mistake and assure this bitch that everything was ok. Even two of my coworkers nearby swore they heard her say deposit the check.


All this for a $10 mistake. She can fuck off.


Next on my thoughts, raffles that whore out for new watchers. You already know my rants on this before, but for those of you who don't, it simply annoys me that 99% of raffles for free art on FA has people requiring you that you watch them first and then go on to say "don't unwatch me after because it's rude." Know what else is rude? Whoring yourself out to get more watchers for no other reason other than to get more attention and then you trying to guilt trip people into not unwatching you if they don't win the raffle. What DID you think people were going to do if they don't win? People are cheap fuckers and they aren't going to stick around for your art if they are not the raffle winners. Besides, what are you gonna do if someone did unwatch you after the raffle was over? Blacklist them? Trying to name and shame people for not being a faithful watcher? Gimmie a break, sister.

So I went to Burger King on my break today for lunch, only to see that I left my debit card at home. Fuck me, I won't eat is what I thought. When my supervisors found out that I didn't get to eat, they actually offered to buy me something. By the time my supervisor was able to head out, it was getting late, so he got me a bagel and soda instead. These guys are quite chill and I'm glad they offered me something.

Why does it feel like I have to pull teeth just to get people to even respond to me lately? Why is it that whenever I'm actually in the mood to talk or want to do something, I'm basically invisible? Yeah, call it a cry for attention because duh, I would like some every now and then! Or am I not good enough for you? Funny how I'm always told to not bottle up my feelings, yet the moment I tell people how I really feel, they get defensive and think I'm lashing out against them. Oh what's that? Had a rough day at work? Well how about thinking about me sometime? Oh wait, that's not allowed because I'M the one being selfish apparently. Fine, be that way. Not like people cared to begin with.

You always hear stories on how someone who was a bully in school grew up, meets the person they bullied and apologizes for how much of a fucktard they were as a kid. Hell, it's a common trope for movies and TV.


But then it happened to me today.


I was at my new job doing my stuff when the next customer recognized me from fucking 5th grade! Holy BALLS as if I wasn't feeling old enough! I didn't remember him though, but he told me that he was kind of a dick to me when we were kids and he actually apologized to me! I was bullied a lot in my school years, but I'd never imagine that someone from my past would actually apologize for making my childhood shit at school. It's....kind of uplifting really. Even then, I didn't hold a grudge against him because it was so long ago and I'm basically an adult now. He seemed relieved hearing that.

Today was officially my first day at the bank. It was just orientation and nothing else, but holy shit there was a LOT of info to take in! I'll have to do quick reads to keep up to speed.

For me, Tomb Raider Chronicles. Half assed story, boring and frustrating level design, and no new weapons or mechanics.

I spent quite a bit of money getting myself new shoes, dress pants and shirts, and new ties and belts. Today I get notice about my background approval and training info. Turns out that I also need a damn suit jacket when I begin and I don't have one. I hope I can find something tomorrow because I don't know what the fuck to do if the jacket is too much money.

Just because you take people's money in exchange for making art for them does not give you the excuse to be a fucking cunt. Why am I saying this? Lemme tell you the story:



I commissioned this guy in the past. A cheap sketch but it was still nice. Speed up ahead, I wanted to commission him again for two more sketches and I told him what I wanted. He was pretty busy and had other commissions, so of course I gave him time. Fast forward a bit more towards today. I asked him if he was ready to do my commission.

"You never paid me."

"Well, you never gave me your paypal info."

"Then don't worry about it." (The fuck?)

"Well I can't pay you if I don't have your info."

"You can get the fucking info. Look through your notes or something."

"Hey now, if you're gonna be a twat, I'll spend my money elsewhere. I don't have your info because I cleared my notes and my paypal has too many emails logged."


This is just a paraphrase of what happened since I deleted the history and blocked him on the spot. He is one of those people that are always fucking upset even if the sky was clear and ice cream fell from space and he is socially awkward as fuck. I also deleted the pic he did for me in the last commission cause I do not want to be reminded of him. I am not gonna name names, but I will say a certain "RAT" should crawl back in the hole he came in from like the rat he is.


Kids, if someone commissioned you previously, don't be an ass. Just give them your paypal so they can pay right away. And for fuck's sake, don't assume people are gonna pay after they discuss the commission details with you. You have to set up a damn plan and keep communications open!

Ok yeah, the last journal was kinda depressing and I'm still a bit down, but I guess I should try to explain it more. Yes, I know people can get busy at times. Lately, it feels like literally everyone I know is too busy to talk to me, or too busy to even tell me they're too busy to talk. It...gets really frustrating and upsetting when I have no one to talk to, even if it's just small talk. Not to mention I don't have a job till next month and I been very cranky sitting here with nothing else to do while I had to watch everyone else complain about a tough day at work.



I feel lonely. Hell, maybe I am needy. But it would be nice to feel like I do have people to interact with. Would be nice to have a mate too, lol. I'm not as young as I used to be.

Does anyone not want to talk to me these days? No matter how much I try to start a conversation or even stay in touch, all I get are no replies or canned twitter styled replies.

So awhile back I applied to a bank for the position of a teller/financial services associate. I was on THREE interviews. Today, HR called me to offer me a temporary position. The way it would work is I will be trained and then working at the branch where I'd be trained at. During that time, the company will find a branch for me to be put into for a more permanent position. If I don't get a spot by then, they'll let me go. That part makes me nervous, despite being paid for the whole time, but the lady in one of the previous interviews assured me that those scenarios are quite rare. We will see. I also have to pass the training portion with a score of 80% or better to be employed, so good luck to me x-x Orientation and training isn't till June.


I'll also going to need to get myself more clothes since this is a bank position and not a McDonalds, but my wallet is gonna cry and clothes aren't cheap. If anyone wishes to donate to me a few dollars to help on this, you can, but don't feel forced.

I know I offered trades earlier, but I'm not sure if I can really hold my end of the deal with all these interviews I'm going to, job hunting, and my unemployment bullshit, so I am holding off till further notice.
