The reveal of the next expansion shows the Nu Mou as one of the new beast tribes for 5.0. I am happy that my fav Ivalician race is now in the MMO I play all the time, but at the same time, I'm a bid sad that they are under beast tribes. For those that don't know, beast tribes in FF14 are a collective race of....well, beastmen that are usually intelligent like the player races, but they have their own sects/tribes/etc that don't mesh with the cities that we visit. They have shown friendly beastmen, but beastmen in general have a bad stigma because the bad ones summon primals, which suck up the life force of the planet to sustain themselves.


...Now I wonder how they are gonna sound when they talk! Beastmen usually have a few lines of voiced dialogue in the main quests, but they speak mostly through text in the side quests.

I saw some places were doing their sales earlier this year. Newegg had some deals going on and I went for em; I bought myself a 1 TB SSD for about $130 and a Logitech wireless mechanical keyboard for $64! It's nice to spend on yourself sometimes x3

Alright now! I gotten a new PC after one trip to my local Best Buy. I figure if I have to replace my PC, might as well go for something better, right? I could have ordered parts and build it again, but I simply can't afford to be out of commission just waiting for my parts to arrive and hoping they all work. So this is what's under the hood of my new PC:

16 GB of RAM


Luckily, the accident that toasted my old PC did not affect my HDD or SSD, so my data is retained! Of course, the new PC wasn't quite playing nice, so I had to get hard drive enclosures and make my old drives act as external drives. Some configurations later, things are mostly back to how they were. I still have to move my data over and reinstall other things.


With that out of the way, things are mostly back to normal. This PC was not cheap, so I will not be looking to buy commissions from people other than the ones I already planned for in advance. Paying off this new PC comes first! Responsible adulthood and all XD

I bought a 64GB SD card to fit the digital copy of Pokemon Ultra Sun. Turns out, after some troubleshooting, that the 3DS only takes SD cards up to 32 GB! Ffffuuuuucccck, now I have to blow even more money -_-

I'm not here to talk about who was revealed, but what was done in said reveals. Namely, Ridley and Simon. In Ridley's reveal, he out right KILLS MARIO and, during gameplay teasers, KILLS LINK! In Simon's reveal trailer, freakin LUIGI GETS HIS SOUL RIPPED OUT! Smash Bros hardly got dark before, but SHIT! Nintendo isn't afraid to let their star mascots get their asses whupped and...I kinda like it. It feels like Nintendo wants the newcomers to really shine and show what they're made of, even if it means getting Nintendo's favorites beat up and worse.

And people say Nintendo is still kiddy XD

The demo is out. Gameplay is fun but the online is a fucking shitshow. If the full retail version still has shit online, then I won't bother.

This has been bugging me lately. Why do we need so many things in our homes with smart technology, wi-fi, or whatever? Sure, they can offer some conveniences, but I treat them like PCs; wonderful when they work, pieces of shit when they go wrong and you can't figure out what went wrong, and annoying when you have to update the firmware. A friend was talking about how she needed to update the light fixture she got installed so she could use its wi-fi. It boggles my mind!

And what do you do when the manufacturer stops supporting your product? Are you SOL? Do I have to scourer the internet to find firmware that hopefully matches my fridge or car? Will my stuff stop working if the firmware is bad? I dunno man. It seems so silly to have added tech on stuff that probably doesn't benefit a whole lot from it.

As per routine, my parents spent the past few days yelling at each other. I used to be worried and even fearful. Now I just sigh and roll my eyes as I go back to my furry porn. My family always had rough times but...it feels this happens more than it should. And yet....I can't bring myself to care anymore. Not a day goes by without someone screaming (usually at the retarded dog for barking non stop) and I've grown to accept it as normal. Nothing really makes me happy these days. Sure, I got a few friends online I can talk to and I have a job, but those aren't really cutting it anymore; customers at my job are so damn rude and abrasive while my friends are busy 24/7 so I am left to pretty much talk to no one.

I haven't been happy in a long time. I can't even remember the last time I legiti felt happy and that scares me more than anything.

Sure, I can watch a funny video and get a laugh out of it, but that's not really what happiness is. You have to find something worth living for. Something that makes you stop and say "I'm happy to be alive." I can't find that. I have no joy in my heart. Things have been so miserable here that I've learned to accept it because nothing will change. How can it change to begin with? My sister always told me that "things will get better" and "you can't take what mom says to you seriously/she doesn't mean it", but after a while, it's just empty words that ring hollow. I've learned to accept being miserable because it's the only constant that I know. Happiness is only something I get to see in games and movies.

I don't know when was the last time I felt happy. That depresses me more than anything, and yet...it is all I have grown to known and endure. Whatever hope I had in my life has been long gone and forgotten. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

For me, I used to be crazy about inflation, but now it bores me unless it's cum inflation x3
