Hello everyone!

As some of you already noticed/guessed I'm scooting back towards my dark furry place at least for the summer. I've gotten a couple of asks and whatnot during my short absence mostly about the subject of me coming back, if I'm doing commissions and if I'm doing requests. Some got their replies, some did not - which I apologize deeply - (I checked my account approx. once a year). Anyway! Below you can find the collection of answers to my growing FAQ.

Yeah, so... commissions? I'll be opening 5 slots right now. Depending on the influx (or the lack) of commissioners I will either open more slots or proceed to cry in the corner due to the unpopularity of myself. So it's literally up to you.

Below you can find (I hope) my updated prices and my ToS (which is also updated), I highly encourage you to take a look before reserving. If you find yourself in the position of still wanting a commission from me proceed by commenting about your eagerness below so that people can keep track on the open slots.

Dear people,

I've come to the conclusion that it would be fairest of me to tell you the truth about myself. Me, Aurelio Beau Arth Nikola Otokar Bopp, aka abanob, am a fake. I am a creation of two different individuals who gave birth to me in August 2009 to be a porn artist. Out of curiosity to see, how quickly my art would "pop up", and on the other hand out of the sheer joy of anonymity.

The people who created me were a couple back then, but now they've gone separate ways, and my continued existense is not sure at all. At the best I'll fall into dormancy for an undefined period of time, perhaps forever. But I might be awakened at a later point, no one knows.

You might have noticed that my updates have been less and less frequent. That's because of the aforementioned break-up of my creators, but also because they have either been pretty busy or just grown tired and unmotivated of the drawing, and especially porn business. And naturally that leaves me quite idle, unfortunately.

So, I will now go to sleep, but I'll leave my gallery up in case someone wants to look at my doodles every now and then. I'm sorry for the turn of events, but that's the situation at the moment.

I know some of you have waited for updates regarding commissions. Unfortunately I have bad news for you: my commissions will stay closed indefinitely and I won't be around FA much anymore. I'm in a need of hiatus and this seemed like the good time for that.

As some of you already know, I'll spend the next two weeks in India, and obviously I won't be able to work on commissions, and most likely won't even check FA. So if you note me and never hear back from me (well, in two weeks, anyway), it's because of that. So, have a nice one and see you in two weeks! :D

So, short story short: I'm busy with RL again.

That means that I am not able to finish all your commissions quite so fast as I had hoped to, but what do you know. School and work jump on board ever so unconveniently sometimes.

Sorry for the delay, good people.

Regular commissions are now open. You will probably dislike it but I've revised my prices.
I've also updated my terms of service so please check it out if you're interested in a commission.

I might add some new stuff to the list along the way. Icons, badges and some 3D stuff (busts at first) perhaps. If you have any other ideas I'm open for suggestions.

I'll open 3 slots for now and see if I'll have time to take more later. :)

Alright, all of the slots are filled. I got more than three requests so I will reserve a slot for everyone who has asked. But I'm not taking any more reservations for now, so don't send me new notes. :) I'll get back to everyone who has sent a note. Thanks for the interest dudes and dudettes!

- finished piece approx. within 2 weeks from the payment

I'll tell you; it's the way your arm gets comfortably sweaty due to the hot weather and then even more confortably glued to your tablet, making drawing and painting a very irritating and slow process. When the hot feels oh-so-stagnant, almost like it's trying to strangle you with its swollen fingers. There it's laughing at you, mocking you, you sweaty bugger "I thought this is what you wanted last winter, when it was -30°C (-22°F) outside. Now. Enjoy it.".

Huh, what's an "AC"? A fan? Never hear of them. I'll tell you, this hyena will soon start rotting because of the humid air. Perhaps I should upgrade my hyena-self and add some mushrooms and mould on him.

And yet I know I'm just a spoiled little thing as I actually get to enjoy the more cooler weather for the most of the year. Perhaps that's why I don't particulary like the hot weather. So, my dearest furry and non-furry comrades; if you don't hear from me anymore, you know what happened.

All I can say is stay strong and fap a lot. :'(

Commission info

Reserving a slot
- Via note or by commenting, will be specified on each journal.

The description and references
- Within 48 hours from reserving the slot. (I will cancel your slot if the requirement isn't met)
- Written description is ok, but pictures are preferred.
- Keep it short and simple.

Communication
- Be active.
- I don't mind being poked & asked about progress.

Revisions
- Please keep the amount of separate revision notes to 5-6. (not including reference sheets)
- Try to figure out all the revisions at once (ie. don't send me separate note every time you think of something). This makes the process both easier and faster.
- Major revisions during the sketching phase only.

Cancellation
- Cancellation is possible before payment on both sides.
- I will offer a refund if I take very long (~6 months) to finish your picture.

Payment
- PayPal only.
- Payment once the sketch is finished (at the latest).
- With sketch commissions payment upfront.

PayPal
- Do not send the payment as "gift" and make sure to add your FA nickname on the note field.

Deadline
- Not a problem, if the deadline isn't within just a few days.

Completion of the commission
- From an hour to a month, depending on my current schedule, commissioner's activity and the amount of other commissions.

Private commissions
- Can do, no extra pay.

The files
- Digital.
- You'll get a high resolution file along with a gallery friendly size.

The commission process

1. The commissioner provides me with the necessary references and/or description and also tells me if they have any special requests about the commission. I also provide you with my PayPal address and the quota.
2. Once the details are down, I'll start working on the piece and soon send you the first sketch.
3. The commissioner points out the things that need changing or other improvement ideas. Preferably not in a vague manner and not one by one in separate notes, unless it's the same part that needs fixing. You're free to draw red lines on my sketch, they are always very helpful.
4. I send the revisioned sketch. Parts 3. and 4. go on until you're happy with the sketch.
5. I will wait for the payment, if it hasn't been transferred yet.
6. I start inking and colouring. Unless the piece is a reference sheet I won't send wips anymore.
7. I send the finished piece for assessment. At this stage I won't do any
major changes (line art, pose, background) but if I have messed up with the colouring I'll be
more than happy to fix it. Also I'm open to any suggestions effect-wise (fog,
back light, snow).
8. I send the high quality file along with the small one.

I'll send this info along with the price list to the inquirers.
