First off, I just wanna say Happy Butt Month to all. This is my favorite time of the year for drawing biiiig poofy booties so odds are you'll see a picture about that subject at some point. So happy times all around.

On second, note. Thank you everyone who participated the sale, given my time restrictions and such and such. But we raised many funds for the Owly and me. So that's always a good thing. But now it's back to regular commissions for a while, mostly while I finish out the commission cache I developed in those two months. Like I said, slow artists but definitely dedicated any time that I'm not working at my new job.

April 16: Easter Sunday

Easter is a very good day indeed. Not only could I finish an Easter Drawing with my baby Arrow, but also I finished coloring a drawing I got from Toddlergirl, that I decided to color and shade.
The little Thief is absolutely adorable I do say. ^^

PART 2 (Apr. 8, 2017):

I do realize there has been a lack of art as of late, but give my current release schedule that's really no surprise. However, given the fact that Easter is around the corner, among other holidays, there will quite possibly be a few pieces that will be marked as "Immediate Release Art" that means a public art thing that will be announced much in the same way as Patreon Exclusives but instead of waiting 90 days it will be a done in a public view setting for everyone to see, from Sketch to Lineart to Shaded Drawing. And that will be a good. So keep your eyes open for that. ^^

PART 1 (Apr. 5, 2017):

Well things are looking up for Ol' Abe. Feeling the art urges since it may be slowing down soon, since I'm the process of getting me a nice job to supplement my current low paying income. Well, a few notes I wanted to point out, seeing as how I may have forgotten at some point.

Point 1) As I'm currently using my Laptop, I've found that Streaming not only can slow down my processing speed, but also cause it to crash so that's why I've not been streaming for a quite a while.

Point 2) As soon as I get into the groove of this job I can a little more funding I can opt for a couple of cheap but simple solutions that will allow me to use my Desktop in the kitchen area and start streaming again.

Point 3) Since is April I'm feeling a might fresh in personality, perhaps I can take up jogging... if it ever stops raining that is.

And that's pretty much what's up with Ol' Abe. In case anyone was wondering. ^^

I have arrived that is. At Olympia, Washington and already I've got a friendly and huggable receptions for all the various babs in the bab house. I've huggle patted and tickle a few diaper buns and I've had a good night's sleep, the first in a loooong while. So now all seems right in the universe it's time to prepare for complete integration. Time to learn their ways, have good times and learn to be the best daddy I can be. And also get back into commission after this travel lag wears off. ^^

Well it's the big day for sure, the day I pack up all my stuff and then take off tomorrow early in the morning for my first stop in Las Cruces, New Mexico. All my rooms are booked, the stuff's in boxes and hopefully what I have will all fit in my car. But beside that it's gonna be a 4 day trip ahead. So I'll be making it Olympia by Thursday and so odds are I'll be out of communication until then.

This will also be my last journal entry until then too. Since, I'll be packing up my computer tonight and will only have my cellphone. But it's a interesting experience for sure. Packing up one's stuff in a box and what not. But a good one for sure because there's not of new adventures ahead for me. Good ol' Abe.

Wish me luck on the open road please, I will need all I can get. ^^

5 Days until my big road trip to Olympia, Washington, were I will hand my hat for quote some time and pat the padded butts of many little bab from which I only think would only be possible in my dreams. But what have I been doing until then?

Well I managed to reserve a few motel rooms in New Mexico, California, and then North California, to which I hope I can rest my eyes for a good while and then get back on the road again so I won't really care if things suck or don't as far as things like quality of rooms and such.

I've been packing, and then repacking and then re-repacking and then packing again trying to move around all my stuff so that it can fit in the finite space of my car. It's a little car but it has a nice trunk space but I don't wanna put so much stuff that it overloads the weight capacity or obscure my rear view mirror to much. But the end of it, come Saturday I'll take everything I'm not taking into storage and then take what I can.

My art is going... slowly. Lot of things on my mind what with the boxes and checking see if everything is set up and ever factor of moving is settled. It's gonna be a long trip but also an exciting one. Will try to truck along as best I can, one step at a time and over time and what not. Gonna see my baby  AbKatelyn and her babies, along wit her babies  trisity  sage182 and also  emika-chan,  notoriginal77 and many more, the bab house is getting awfully big. But that just means more love to spread.

Soooo, 5 days, left. And 5 days to prepare. Hope it will be enough.

It just occurred to me. I'll be leaving for Olympia in about 7 days....
There's a strange feeling of excitement and wonder and hope that I get there safely and what not. But mostly excitement. ^^

Yeah I know everyone else has discovered Patreon looong before me but I figured I'd give it a shot. A real learning process to figure out what it all means. Take a splash and what not and see where the water drops. But anyway, it's mainly will affect my free sketch streaming but odds are I still choice of doing that whenever the need arises for practice or personal reason, so really things shouldn't be to much different. Due to a lack of communication on my part. My computer is still inoperable at this moment and time. But while I can stand the little loss of a while longer there's still other people who are starting to have more complicate problems as of late. I refer to Nino, my Baby Katie's baby, who is currently in some financial need. As we all are. Which is why she created a GoFundMe page in the hopes that we may all live together in a loving apartment household, doing art and writing and making baby games for the near future of big babs and big bab lovers to enjoy.

For those of you who don't know and are curious as to what I've been up to lately.

Well around Wednesday of last while during a Picarto.tv stream, I was struck with an unforeseen power outage. While it was minimal and brief my power cables did not have surge protect ion and thus forced me to reboot a lot of things which resulting in the lost of my applications on my desktop.

And while things have been trying to be repaired up to day, let's just say that much like a victim of a stroke my computer is just not the same it used to be. Several programs are glitchy, slow and some have outright refused to cooperate. Which mean that my usual method of productivity is not the same as it used to be. And as such I'm spending most of my time trying to repair or regain what level of performance I could at least be considered adequate.

Luckily I still have most of my data but it means art is going to take a second priority as I try not to go toward the brink of insanity trying every which way I can resolve said problem. But odds are unless I can find a computer repair place, I'll have to put in the list of things I still need wait until I can afford.

Well, while my computer seems to be working somewhat manageable perimeters, abide a lot slower and a little more rickety than it used to be, the whole thing of getting it up and running has been rather frustrating and draining for me. So I'm gonna take the weekend not think about it and give my computer a rest... coincidentally, there happens to be a family gathering I can attend to take my mind off it.

Also this does mean that I will sadly not risk a Sketch Raffle at this point until I can figure out a few things. So sorry to tell ya.

In one of those 2 steps forward 5 steps back situations, my computer crashed just when I thought it was starting to cooperate. Now I must send it to a pro to try and salvage what I can... feeling the artists itch, since my art software was on that computer. I neeed to draw something. To get rid of it. Not to mention. All those people who commissioned me that I hope will be patient that my computer does not lose all my precious work I've done thus far.

But I'm optimistic. That things will work out. Because I'm a optimist. ^^

I'm thinking of breaking into the Adoptable Character Market.

The cost I'm thinking is around $30 bucks, which is a little more expensive then other Adoptable of my quality, but as an added bonus, the winner of the adoptable would also get a mini-reference sheet or sort. So that way you can get all the added detail that your character needs to thrive. You know with clothes, without clothes, from and back hands or paws, maybe some distinguishing marks and eye colors or some of the little nitpicks that sometimes get lost with just the one picture. Or even with or without diapers depending on who buys it. I especially like Pokemorphs, but I might also try something original on occasion.

It's just a brainstorm right now but it might be worth investing a little time and effort. ^^

And thus ends the Discount Commission fundraising for the Owly man. All and all I'd say that project was quite a success. At least on my part, which I gave to Owl. And I wish Owl many happy journeys for the days ahead. Godspeed to the mighty Owl. Maybe his fight be smooth and his enemies fall before him like the many mice of the deep woods.

In other news, I've got myself a new commission sheet and such and also more explanations about how things should work based on the experience I've had these pasted few weeks. I'm not sure if it's better but it has more secret menu stuff like Owlcan.

I'm thinking of offering a special discount stream event one of these days, with nothing to do with the original commission slots but at a special deal for what I call "A theme stream." That is to say, offer let's say %20-%30 Discount on regular commissions for say a commission of something that I really want to do, but set within certain limits. And it would only be available in the Stream, and end about the same time the stream ended.

For Example let's say the Theme was:

OC Girl's Night

That would mean I would offer a discount for female original characters to draw.

Or alternatively say:

Demons Jamboree

Then that would mean I would offer a discount for any demon characters, OCs and others included.

Or, and I know a certain Frosty Wizard might like this idea:

Elvan Madness

You starting to get the picture?

But like I said, it's just an idea. Just throwing it out there in the wind. There would be some restrictions, you know number of character limits, mostly sketches or line arts done in stream, but other than that, it would be pretty straight forward kind of thing.
