That's right, I finally decided I'm going to try HRT. I'm hoping that by feeling more comfortable in my own skin I can really start "living" again.
It's going to be a struggle, but it's been something weighing on me for years and despite all the stigma surrounding it, I am gonna try to be my best self.

Heyo, been a while since I actually bothered to upload art.
As some of you may have noticed, I started uploading again. I have a massive backlog (somewhere around 100+) in my folders.
I intend to upload once a day for the forseeable future until that backlog is drastically reduced, so for the next month or two expect relatively frequent uploads.

I know everyone is making journals about this and I apologize to anyone who is having their journal inbox flooded by this, but I could not just sit by and ignore this.

I did not know Dragoneer personally but this site has had a big impact on me and I have met a lot of wonderful artists and friends because of it. This is a huge loss for the community and I feel wholeheartedly for those more directly impacted.

Uploads will be on a short hiatus during this grieving process. It feels wrong to continue on as if nothing happened, and as someone working indirectly with the healthcare industry, I find myself incredibly disheartened knowing that this may have been preventable.

If there is an afterlife I hope it treats you well.
May you rest in peace, Dragoneer.

Haven't had time to schedule new uploads so they will be pausing for a bit. Recently quit my job for a better one so that transition has been a bit chaotic.

Anyways might be back to uploading in a week or two, we'll see! Thanks for the support!

As some of you may have noticed, I have started utilizing PostyBirb to upload art daily, which is steadily helping get a handle on the big backlog of art commissions I have.
I'll probably be set for the next month and half with uploads so the flood is not slowing down anytime soon.

On top of this, I have slowly been revisiting older submissions and tweaking them to be better aligned/formatted with what I would like to present online.
A majority of culled artwork will be going into scraps, so you can still find it there. "Updated" art will have their title changed to include two hyphens in the title. This is mostly for my own personal tracking.
Ex. "My Artwork" -> "-My Artwork-"

I'm testing PostyBirb to see if it helps with my uploads. Also I plan to start cleaning up my gallery little by little and may start deleting older images/moving to scraps so be prepared for that.

I have made the decision to remove intersex content.

I just found it to be making me uncomfortable and skews the content I currently have uploaded, so for the forseeable future I will not be posting intersex content.

Hoping to get in gear and start uploading again as well. I have a massive backlog of commissions that I would love to share, but getting them organized is certainly a battle. Mounting worse and worse with each new commission. Going to at least try for weekly uploads. Maybe a batch at a time. We'll see.

Its that time again!

Not sure if anyone has noticed yet but I have been reorganizing my gallery, adding folders and tags to older images and removing some older content to remove the clutter.

Note that I'm not really "deleting" anything. I will be taking advantage of the "Scraps" feature and moving older art there instead. Stuff that doesn't need to be on the forefront of my gallery.
This may include intersex content assuming people do not want to see that on my main gallery.

As a side note, I have a massive backlog of commissioned art due to procrastination, so I will be attempting to upload daily while I chip away at cleaning my gallery.

Sorry for all the delayed uploads.

Thinking about migrating this account to a new one, which means completely purging this one and re-uploading on another unless there is a more efficient way of doing this.
The good news is, I will be re-uploading to other platforms as well in the process, including InkBunny, Weasyl, and SoFurry. Trying to branch out in other places and recently set up PostyBirb to make the transitions easier.

I just don't want people finding my catalog through my other socials and since I can't exactly change my username it's the next best option. It'll be a real shame to lose all my watchers and start anew after all that I've slowly built up here, even if meager. But I can't risk any irl ramifications.

I haven't made any final decisions, but I will keep everyone updated.

Gonna start purging some pics from my gallery.
Mostly older stuff that I'm just not happy with or proud of. Most of you probably won't even notice them gone since most of them have next to no ratings but I'm just giving a heads up anyways.

I doubt anybody really reads my journals, but I just want those who do to know where my head is at.

Over the past year and a half I've been battling with an ear issue that has caused my ears to feel muffled and "full", alongside tinnitus. It was difficult to overcome but I have since learned to tolerate it and continue on with my life. I tried seeking medical treatment but I was mostly brushed off as it just being tinnitus and nothing more. As the issue progressed I sought out more care, but after losing my job and losing medical benefits I was kind of dead in the water.

Over the past week or two though, my right ear has started to "give out". I've been having balance issues and the hearing in that ear seems to be more muffled, not to mention painful. I'm praying it's treatable, but I can't help but feel like the neglect has led to this issue spiralling out of control and ultimately resulting in hearing loss.

Finally I have medical benefits again, and am trying to set up appointments, but I'm struggling to get properly enrolled since there was a system-wide outage with my insurance company due to them being hacked right around the time I joined. Just my luck...

I just feel so trapped right now. I'm afraid if I don't get care soon I could lose hearing in that ear altogether, but I know even if I'm able to set up an appointment, it's likely going to be months out. And that's not including the time it will take to find the right specialist to diagnose and treat me.

I guess just long story short I'm in a miserable state right now as I battle with the stress and anxiety between this and my job. Im really hoping my medical situation improves, either on its own or through proper treatment once I can get it, but as of now I'm just feeling really hopeless.

Anyways thanks for reading this far assuming you actually bothered to. I just really needed to get it off my chest. Hope everyone else is at least having a better time than I am, I could use some more positivity in my life right now.

Lately Ive been taking a step back and really trying to limit just how much art I commission on a regular basis.
I've begun to recognize it as an addiction, and quickly becoming an unnecessarily large expenditure in my life.
As a result, I have been limiting commissions to one a week.
While the temptation for more art is still there, this is helped alleviate some of that temptation and given me time to fully assess a commission idea before just impulse buying. It has also allowed me to save up for much larger commissions.
I still think once a week is quite generous, but given how often I was commissioning before, it makes a difference.

I will still be uploading quite a bit of art since I still haven't gotten through my backlog, so don't expect a slowdown in art posts until much later (or if I get lazy which is very possible lol)

Anyways TL;DR
I'm slowing down on the amount of commissions I make for both financial reasons and mental health

Concerned about the policy update striking down some of my shortstack commissions and content. Might end up moving to Inkbunny if things really hit the fan.

I wanna upload some personal projects but I wanna get caught up on my commission uploads first, so expect a large art dump soon!

Well, wouldn't you know it!
As soon as I start uploading my backlog, my computer decides it's time for the hard drive to malfunction. At least I assume it's the hard drive, something is rattling about and dislodged somewhere in that location.
I can't take it apart to look since I don't have my tools, but unfortunately there's not a whole lot I can do at the moment and I don't want to run the computer under the risk of creating even more problems. Seems all the data is intact so far at least, though it's still possible one of the discs in the hard drive broke given how old the system is. Whatever I do to preserve the data, assuming this is true, has to be done with haste.

Anyways, long story short, I'm going to be slow on uploads again and might be away for a while.

Today is the day! Another rotation around the sun for me!

I've got a bunch of old, unused designs, majority of which by some old friends that I plan on selling (with their permission).
