My car has needed work, its the last few weeks before graduation and Ive been working my ass off, and just planning what i'm going to do after school and paying bills and shit. General being an adult shit. The reason i'm saying this because ive had people get mad at me and say they were going to delete me. What the fuck? ok? Go ahead. I am the technician that was unfortunate enough to have been dispatched the repair order instructing me to determine exactly why your piece of shit car wouldn't pass a smog check inspection today.
I was so pleased when you walked into my work stall and informed me that you were an engineer and knew everything about everything. Your rudeness, blind arrogance and condescending attitude left not a trace of doubt in my mind that I indeed had been blessed with the presence of perhaps the greatest engineeering mind the world has ever seen.
Your brilliant diagnosis and the subsequent repair attempts performed in your garage with your son's play tools and a very big hammer before bringing your car to me made things so much easier... and oh, no, it was no trouble at all to spend two hours drilling out the exhaust manifold studs that you broke off in the cylinder head... right, it should have only taken me a few minutes...how dare I think that you should pay anything extra to have that done.
You fucking dickwad.
And oh, thank you so much for setting me straight on how emission controls work--how have I ever gotten along these years as a driveability and emissions mechanic without you? I mean, what a run of luck! All of those cars that ran well and passed the smog test with flying colors after I ONLY THOUGHT I had diagnosed and repaired them correctly...thank God you came along! You Sir, are a true champion of the environment and I salute you.
I also wish to thank you for disputing my diagnosis and recommended repairs after you finally left me alone long enough to do some simple tests to determine that your roachbag '87 Accord had the same failed components that almost every other shitbox roachbag '87 Accord with over two hundred thousand miles on it has...I mean, I LOVED IT when you inferred to the Service Manager that I was incompetent and trying to rip you off. We always appreciate such constructive feedback. Wasn't he nice when he guaranteed my diagnosis and even agreed to let you breathe down my neck as I performed the repairs? I really love that guy.

I don't own an EVO, so that carbon fiber wing will just have to wait.

I'm also pretty convinced that my CRX won't take your Dodge full size aftermarket chrome fender trim, but if you want to try to make it work...............

I love my car to death but i keep putting a shit ton of money into it and try to build it as a project when i dont even have a job and im still in school. Soooooo i decided im going to get a nice pickup truck as a vehicle to drive around because i wil leave it pretty much stock and itll be reliable and fun. Any money i save not putting into my car will more than likely be put in the fuel tank. The deal will go thru by next week sometime hopefully. Ill post pics when i get it. Cant belive i found a decent Z71 for $1900. Thank you, rising gas prices, for making people sale their gas guzzlers to stupid people like me for way below bluebook value.
P.S. selling the accord to a friend, so there is a good chance ill be able to buy it back sometime in the future. at least ill always be able to see it around still.

Posted 14 years agoAfter the worst week of my life im somewhat back. after a long talking to ive decided and promised to look ahead and i still have my friends and a few new ones. im still not all here but i feel better and am eating now. Ill always love my friends for sticking by me and trying to help no-matter how hard it was for us. True friends <3. Thanks to those who offered me advice. Sorry i was so defiant at first. If i can live through the pain ive suffered this week...i can survive anything. I guess im just young and had to learn this feeling one day. Its been a very long week and im just drained of all my energy. ill be back soon. i promise.
