Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.
Step 2
Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. story idea
General | Posted 14 years agoThe sound of a door slamming could be heard down the hall. it sent a jolt of fear through me as i tried the desperately crawl to my handgun only to have it kicked away from me. i followed the leg the black booted foot was attached to and looked up at fox. obviously of a middle eastern decent judging by few notable features.
he screamed something in Arabic pointing at me with the barrel of his Ak-47. he grabbed me by my tactical vest and raised me to a sitting position.
"Big mistake jackass" I said as my hand instantly flicked out the tactical knife on the side of my vest and drove it in behind the back of the gommers knee, severing the tendon rendering the leg useless. the blood sprayed from the wound as i drew the knife out and swept his good leg out from under him. in a flash in was on top of him the blade of my knife between his ribs in his heart. then with a single twist and the removal of the blade he was dead.
"a bloody mess" I muttered as I got to my feet, retrieving my hand gun i rehostlered it, "But i guess that's why they call it wet work". looking around i found my MP5SSD lying on the floor under a second dead body. kicking the body off it i noticed the frame had cracked and it was useless aside from being a club. chucking
it down i grabbed an AK off the floor and made my way to the exit.
reaching the door I kicked it open and poked my head out into the streets. the hot desert air greeted me as I stepped out. redoing my bandana to cover my muzzle i started moving towards the exfil point. "Overlord this is Delta 1-2" i said as i clicked on my radio.
"Delta 1-2 this is Overlord, what is your status?"
"My squads dead, I'm the only one left." I said diving into a market stall as a truck full of enemies passed by, "I'm moving towards the exfil point 2 klicks south of my current position."
"Negative Delta 1-2 do not proceed to exfil.... wait whats that.... Oh god Every body get Down!....." my radio went to statcic at that.

well so far this week me and my wife have both been called to three fires after only gettimg done with our basic training. oh wait forgot to tell you all we're on the voulntere fire squad based near our collage. but yeah the one a few days ago was kinda strange. mostly cause the guy wasnt even worried about his wife, but his Tv set. me and my wife both wanted to deck him and drag him back into the fire. but otrher than me drinking my self into a near comatosestate last night not much else has happened recently.

General | Posted 14 years agoits offical, my writers block as reared its ugly head once again. i tried writing today and just stared at the paper for two hours and nothing came to mind, nada, zero, zip. so yeah any help or suggestions for stories will be taken into consideration, and credit given to those who suggested it.

General | Posted 14 years agoWell I think It's about time for me to go get some reference pics for my characters done. Only one little snafu, I'm more broke than the U.S. government. So yeah I guess I'm either gonna have to hope for freebies, or trade stories for pics, so I have no clue what to do. Well I need to go find some money.

General | Posted 14 years agorecently i was looking around on the web and came across a few things that made me think. the first was a report on how many book submissions get turned down by publishers annually. Now I have hopes to get my writing published and become a well known writer, and an overall goal of bringing the fandom into main stream literature. but after seeing the numbers, i realized how insignificant my chances are at realizing my goal.
