Hey peeps, just wanted to try some changes to Freebie Fridays ( crazy how we've made it to week 12 this week). Thanks to everyone whose showed up and enjoyed the stream and chatted.

I do notice, however, that probably those who arent able to make it to the stream are missing out. Mainly people who come at the very end of the stream just to find that I'm closing up. This doesnt seem very fair to me.

So, if you'd like a freebie for this week's freebie friday, please leave a reference or description here and you'll be added to the spinner for selection - no need to join the stream. Those who do show up for the stream will be added twice. That way, everyone has a chance to win, but the incentive is still there to hang out at the stream.

Those who dont win will be left on the spinner and may add another entry next week. Every month, the spinner will be wiped and started anew.

Just keep in mind, I dont mind instructions, but I'm mostly keeping artistic freedom/ themes above all else. Its gotta be worth it to me, afterall.

TL:DR I'm gonna be uploading a bit less, as I'm not very happy with the content quality I've been posting. I'm taking this time to work on animations, more fleshed out pieces, and to reclaim my personal time. I'm not going anywhere, but you'll see a bit less of me. Streams may be limited to the weekend, uploading less sketches, etc. I'm still open for commissions if anyone is interested, but for the most part I'm focusing on what makes me happy. Hey, just wanted to reach out to people about some changes I wanted to make concerning how I conduct myself here on FA ( and really any place I post). As some people may be aware, There's be a weird cease in uploads, mainly with inktober stuff but really in anything.

The Absolute State of My Uploads

I've obviously given up with inktober and really uploading a bunch of freebies simple because I've taken a good look over the state of my gallery within the last 2 months, and I'm kinda disappointed in what I've made it become. Usually I upload something pretty decent and occasionally post a few sketches, which I then stuff into my scraps never to be seen again...as of late the gallery seems more like my scraps and that kinda bothers me. This is all self inflicted of course, with the freebie uploads and inktober was just making it way WAY worse.

For the last 2 months, I've been absolutely killing it with illustrations. I did it for a reason, however. For 1., I wanted to prove to myself that I could get back into drawing again, and return to one of my few remaining passions. 2., I wanted to open the idea of running commissions - illustration is my only other marketable skill, I have to at least try. And 3. I wanted to build a routine. To make it normal so that I do it more and for me.

With that being said, I've been uploading and almost spamming absolute garbage content that honestly I'm not proud to use to display what I do here. Please keep in mind that is not to say that I'm unhappy with who I've drawn. There is no better vindication than seeing someone happy to have me draw for them. What I mean to say is that everything that I've been posting has been uninspiring, brown cardboard carpet bombing anything and everything. This is creating an artificial sense of urgency that forces me to draw JUST TO UPLOAD.

What Am I Gonna Do About It

I want to upload things that I deem impressive. I have a deep rooted passion for animation, and actually have been using the steam I've built up over the months to actually "do the thing" and animate. I've also spoken with a few artists and they all kinda have this consensus that I should do what makes me happy, and if I want an audience, they will come on their own. It makes sense, I should have known this from back in my Youtube days. If you sift through my gallery, there are a few posts that redeem as "impressive". Things like https://www.furaffinity.net/view/56206300/ where it looks like the time and love has been put into it. I want more of that, and less uncolored inks or sketches.

Oh Boy, Here Comes Another Hiatus?

Actually, no. I will actually still seek to upload. But, I want to spend more time on things and do things that, once again, make me[/] happy (also, proper frame-by-frame animation takes ages, and Im still learning Krita and techniques). I still want to do streams, but I [i]may limit them to Freebie Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Funday. I'm still keeping commissions perpetually open. News to absolutely nobody, money is hard right now and I'm feeling the burn. Understandably, I know money might be rough for a bunch of you too, so don't take this as me begging for money. I will be fine either way. If you can't afford it, I hope one day I can draw for you on Freebie Fridays.

I would like to thank anyone whose watched recently, and joined the streams for a chat. Its a silly thing, but something as simple as "number go up" is enough to give me a push to keep trying to be creative. Makes me feel valid.

1500 watchers, that is. You know, I've been doin' this furry stuff for a long time now - since 2007, actually. Can you believe there are people who have watched and supported me from the beginning over 10 years ago? As I've grown, there have just been more and more people who decided I was worth even a second more screentime. That they've enjoyed what I've created and want to experience more, and for that I am grateful.

And yet, over the years, I've never really showed my appreciation. Most people would draw something to celebrate, or do freebies, but I've never really done too much of that. Mostly because whenever I go to thank people for faving or watching, their profiles are obliterated with "thanks for the fav" or "thanks for watching". It always seemed as a burden to go and thank someone individually. (I guess it's free advertising off people's profile too which is also really grimey)

My idea is to do a freebie raffle when I hit one of my milestone. 1500 watchers. On the big 1500, every single person in my watchers list will be entered in a raffle. I think I will select about 20 freebies just so I don't lose my head. No entry necessary, literally at 1500, everyone's names go into a randomizer and I'll message them seeing if they want me to draw something for em.

But Ace, what if I don't want a freebie, or if someone doesn't claim theirs?

That's fine This is, after all, me making an attempt to thank all who've supported me. If someone inst interested, or if a winner doesn't respond, I'll just have a list of backup winners to fill in.

In any case, I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who even cared about me for even a second. Even though I can't thank one-by-one, I want everyone to feel appreciated.

Hey, how's everyone? I thought I'd take the time to explain my absence. For people who have been with me for a while already probably understand. However in the last month, the whole length of my hiatus, there have been a lot more people showing support.

First, thank you~ I'm glad there are people who enjoy my super generic illustration. If you don't know yet, I'm stressed :D So stressed, that I can normally only draw for a month or 2 stints before being crushed balancing both art and work. Albeit, I was getting a bit ambitious with animation ^^"

I don't know how long it'll be before I decide to pick my pen up again, although I know I will eventually. When I get home from work, I usually don't have much inspiration to do anything more than watch youtube...and even that is becoming a bit dry. Either way, I'll probably end up doing this again, repeatedly.

In the meantime, what have you guys and gals been up to. I've been busy getting caught up with Genshin Impact, various vtubers, and the stock market. Maybe I'll end up trying some kind of virtual avatar in one of my streams.

Anyways, I felt that an explanation was warranted since I've practically disappeared for more than a month. Just know I'm trying to get some life things together and sorted before I allow myself to relax. Whenever that'll be.

Don't mind this post too much, there's no secrets in it. No drama, no whining. I just wanted to talk for a bit. I also plan on staying away from the C-word - I think we've all heard enough about that.

First and foremost, I just wanted to thank the load of new watchers who think I'm worth the time. I guess I may be a shabby artist, but I guess you could say I'm ...[i]not too shabby{/i}. Anyways, I really appreciate the love, and hope you stick around while I learn this thing called...anatomy....and color theory ʷʰᵃᵗ ᶦˢ ᵗʰᵃᵗ. I do, however, have some news that may or may not be in your favor (?) I don;t post too often, as I should, since I do keep art and practicing art, streams and what have you pretty low on my priorities list. For those who are like me who watch as a sign of appreciation, but don't really....watch, I guess this is nothing. For those who actually enjoy and consume my content, you either already know this or may be disappointed by this. I'm sorry. That's all I can really say. My computer is giving out. I recon it's the hard drive, but I don't have the time or money to screw around with it right now.

I'm not special or anything, but life can get pretty stressful, and sometimes that stress can just shut me down and put me in full preservation mode. These last few months alone have been fair doosies to say the least, between me ripping through cars, work taking just about every second of my existence, and compromised living measures. I'm not gonna say that I have it harder than anyone else. I'm sure there are people who have it way harder than I do. It 's just for the time being, I can only speak for myself and I know I'm having a hard time. I know if I keep fighting, and pushing, everything will be okay and I'll eventually look back at this moment and chuckle about how I had to live through that....but for right now...its hard.

I guess what I'm saying is I just need a bit of an outlet. My toilet of doubt and stress hath overfloweth. I'm not very talkative, and I don't often reach out. I don't really hang with friends or go out. I just exist. I am here. More so a tool for other people than for me to take advantage of myself, ya know? It's hard to explain.

I just wanna know how you're doing? Maybe you need an outlet like me, and talking to people in person isn't your thing. Maybe calling out for help makes you feel awful. If all you needed was just some stupid post to vent yourself, and then leave to the ether of the distant internet where it lay buried and unseen.

Hey peeps, how's it goin! It's been a hell of a June for me, ah tellya whut!

Anyways, I know I haven't been keeping up with my freebie streams lately, and I really wanna catch up next week. However, due to some minor complications, I'll have to move the freebie stream to Tuesday this week.

Next week's theme will be: Weapons

Looking to do some creative things with Weapons this time, whatever strange or unique weapon you can think of...or...I could find something that closely reflect whichever character you want. Really looking for unique things if possible. But like I said, if you can't think of anything, just leave me a bio and I'll try to match something for ya.

References here would be appreciated, probably gonna stay with flats and 5 slots just to keep myself from being overwhelmed. Also considering giving priority to those I haven't done freebies for, or more unique and interesting ideas. So, just because you see 5 comments doesn't necessarily mean you're out of the loop.

This week's freebie stream will be a little different. Instead of my 20 Minute powerhouses, I wanna be able to focus and actually design. Now that my commissions are clear, I wanna dole out some Flats, at least. I wanna dress you up in the finest, or whatever most reflects your character's personality. Lets say, in any case, not only for me but any artist. And let's also say in this situation that you particularly want to make sure you join said stream. How would you prefer to be notified?

I ask this because I realize FA has a feature where you can post a journal...or you can post a stream notice, but typically I stick to posting a little visual ad in my gallery, then deleting it when I'm done. I dont know if this feature makes much a difference on FA's beta website, but what do you think? I still use the regular FA.

And also while I'm on the topic of Streams, I might try to do weekly streams to get my art hand a good workout. Preferably freebie streams every Monday, with little trickle streams whenever I can. Its just an idea since not too many people join my streams to justify it, but I thought it'd be cool.

For anyone whom is new, or even people whom have graciously believed my work is worth attention under any spectrum, please do accept my heartfelt apology. I may be 1 of 1000 artists you watch, but you've still given me some form of support and for that, I'm thankful.

Life is a bit hectic at the moment. Work being the largest contributor, working 11 hour shifts at a time has proven to evaporate any sort of urge to draw or create anything. I still have a ton of ideas, I just can't get them out right now. I'm always so tired. Every moment I get time to relax, I either get denied that right or I overindulge in it. I'm already a massive procrastinator.

I've been wanting to do some pay-what-you-want stuff too, really wanted to do one for Valentine's Day. Obviously that didn't be happen. And it probably won't for a while, which sucks 'cause I really wanted to. Same with streams and stream freebies, but that's mostly because of my horrendous internet. Concrete walls and wifi don't work too well.

It also doesn't help that I'm just not feeling as emotionally well these days as I were a couple years ago. Money is gonna be tighter this year than last year since I have to work a lower paying job now, and that makes my morale take a hit knowing it'll be harder to build savings. Just an all around handful - I swear I'm not depressed.

So I'm sorry if you want to see content from me. I'll post when I can, I'm just getting crushed right now and I don't know when the crushing will slow.

No, Im not dead. Not that anyone was concerned or anything, just thought I'd throw that out there if anyone at all was concerned.

Lately has been a trip and a half with the real world. Between moving...again, having all my money dump into bills and trying to keep things alive, and getting a promotion at work, I've found it harder than ever to actually draw anything, I practically never have time for anything anymore, and any time I do have, I like to spend relaxing and cooling down. Eventually I'll draw something. Telling by the unexpected number of new watchers, I feel many of you will enjoy that. I just dont feel like being victim to either my broke, constantly disconnecting wacom intuos 3...or my vastly underpowered hp tablet

I'll doraw stuff eventually, I just gotta get things sorted out

My gallery is ugly...it's just ugly. It doesn't describe...me, It's just commission commission commission. It's really disappointing to be honest, so Imma change things up. I'll upload commissions like usual, but I'll keep them up for a week or so, but then STRAIGHT TO SCRAPS. I'm tired of seeing commissions flood my gallery, it's supposed to be about me and my stuff, and what I can offer, not a history backlog of everything Im commissioned for.

probably wont see me streaming for a while. having a bit of trouble computer-wise in terms of that. Ever since I sold my tablet, I havent been able to do any drawing on my main computer. My Intuos for some reason doesnt want to give pressure sensitivity, could just be drivers.

and my laptop doesnt wanna cooperate with the whole idea of streaming. If anything, I may have to relapse to Join.Me (if anyone remembers that xD). Livestream isnt an option. It's a worthy downgrade, but it's all I've got if ya wanna join a stream.

I'll be seeing about getting everything fixed up so I can use Picarto. Otherwise, this is my route

Yup, I've discovered it again. I've decided to hop back onto Tumblr for the time being. Maybe that'll get me a little more attention. Posting the calendar covers got a little bit of it, I might as well see how much more I can grab.

Also, if anyone knows how to get a green screen chroma key to work in Flash....that...that'd be pretty awesome for you to tell me. I kinda have this inside joke with  niki_rave thing to draw, that I really wanna draw, and I need explosions :T

I'm going to be playing tonight, and was looking to see if any you fuzzybutts do too. I need to assemble a team that doesn't totally suck....or, doesn't matter really. Just so long as it's fun
