Happy 33rd Birthday
Posted 3 years agoHappy birthday to me! I’m now 33 years young. Not planning anything major though, just having it simple as always.
I also want to let everyone know that I’m still active on FA, just haven’t come up with any more posts for the moment. With everything going on, I’ve been busy helping my sister with gardening and preparing for any hard times coming my way.

WARNING - Art Gallery Purging
Posted 4 years agoAttention, please.
As a bit of a heads-up warning, I’m going to be going through my gallery relatively soon and purge it of some of my work (mostly pictures taken from my camera) that I deem are not worthy to stay on here due to low quality or low views. If you haven’t seen my gallery yet, now’s the chance to see some of my photos for the last time before they are gone.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Hope everyone is enjoying the drawings so far that I’ve made during my first year on here.

Merry Christmas 2020!!
Posted 4 years agoMerry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone! I hope you all had a festive day; I certainly did.
Me and my family didn't do a lot; but we still had a good time. We held off unwrapping gifts until later in the day since me, my sister, and my dad went out for a walk along the lake to feed the animals and take a lot of winter pictures. The pictures turned out great despite having more than a few Chickadee fights over who gets to eat the seed out of our hands.
Once we were back home, we unwrapped a few gifts each, then took a break to eat our traditional Christmas brunch of buttered toast, eggs, bacon, pan-fried potatoes and mushrooms. We're going to have the turkey on Boxing Day tomorrow, and it's my time to prep the bird. After it got dark, we did the rest of our gifts. I'm happy with my gifts. I got a remote trigger and a new carrying bag for my camera; the two Jumanji movies starring Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart; another movie from 1985 called Runaway Train; and the final three alternate history books by Robert Conroy – now I own the entire series! Being a war history buff, I got a kick out of reading those novels.
So that's my family's Christmas; I'd like to know how yours turned out. One thing's for sure, I will not be sad to see 2020 end; it has been a very bad year for everyone, and I'm not just talking about the COVID crisis. I just pray next year won't be even worse, 'cause if it is, God help us all.
Wishing you all a safe Merry Christmas and hope to hear from you all again on New Year's Day 2021!

Remembrance Day
Posted 5 years agoOn the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we remember...
My fellow patriots, today officially marks the annual Remembrance Day memorial tribute (Veterans' Day for our American friends, Armistice Day for our British cousins from across the pond). Today we gather in a moment of silence to remember the courageous soldiers of the past who bravely and unselfishly sacrificed their lives in the defence of our families and homes, and whom have protected our world from falling before the forces of evil.
Sadly, there remains still those who are determined to quash everything we stand for and are on an ever-increasing violent crusade to enslave our very sense of humanity. As long as we stand united as true patriots, and with God by our side, we will show that evil shall never win. Our veterans, living and dead, now need our support more than ever before if we are to defeat the spreading darkness, otherwise all their sacrifices will forever be in vain.
I will be posting some pictures of my own little memorial to our veterans later today. I also would like to know, how do you honour Remembrance/Veterans'/Armistice Day?
With honour and respect, I salute you.

I'm Still Around...
Posted 5 years agoHi everyone...
This journal entry is to let everyone know I'm still here, as I know I haven't been posting anything new for quite a while. Any new drawings of mine are going to be delayed for some time, as I'm in the middle of doing something very important for my sister.
Given the mounting civil unrest going on around the world thanks to COVID and the draconian style lockdowns forced upon us, I've been asked to transcribe a series of video courses for her just so that we have the medical knowledge we will need if or when crap really hits the fan.
I'll still try to find time to post any new drawings on here, but it could be a while since I don't know how long it's going to take me to finish transcribing all the videos for her.
Thank you for your patience.

9/11 - Nineteen Years Later
Posted 5 years agoMy friends and fellow patriots, it's that time again. Today marks the 19th anniversary of the day where we take a moment in our lives to offer prayers in honour of all those who fell victim during one of the most heinous acts of global terrorism ever to strike American soil – a day of which then Pres. George W. Bush coined it as “the Pearl Harbor of the 21st Century.”
I was 12 when I first saw the events that unfolded that day. Me and my sister were being home-schooled when one of our neighbours told us to turn on the news after hearing about the first plane crashing into the North Tower. The moment we witnessed the South Tower being hit, we knew right then we were under attack. To then see the towers collapsing moments later still gives me chills – nineteen years later, and it still feels like it all happened just yesterday.
Sadly now, there are those who want us to forget 9/11 and want to use the events of that infamous day as a means to force us into kneeling before those who wish to strip freedom away from us. But by standing united, we shall remain in defiance of the forces of evil and continue to honour the fallen in the face of tyranny and prejudice. As long as the fires of freedom still burn in our hearts, evil shall never win.
I will continue to honour the brave first responders who bravely sacrificed their lives to save those in need and offer condolences to the families affected in the attack. God bless us all.
With honour and respect, I salute you.

Happy Canada Day / Independence Day
Posted 5 years agoHappy Canada Day, everyone – or as I prefer since I'm old-school, Happy Dominion Day.
For my American friends out there, I would also like to wish you all a happy upcoming Independence Day as well.
I hope everyone is having a good time celebrating our nations' birthdays. While the recent chaos and political turmoil continues to run amok, let us remember that it shouldn't deter us from honouring those who founded our great nations and those who have bravely given up their lives to protect our freedoms.
Have a safe and happy Dominion Day, and have a safe and happy Fourth of July. <3

PAW Patrol Story in Progress...
Posted 5 years agoFans of PAW Patrol are going to be in for a surprise sometime in the future. This is a project that I've been working on for a year or two, and is still in progress. It's a special crossover story between the PAW Patrol and the Thunderbirds.
In the story, Ryder and the pups join forces with International Rescue and assist the Tracy brothers in preventing the Hood and the Chaos Crew from unleashing a disaster upon Adventure Bay so devastating that it could threaten the town's very existence. For clarification, the Thunderbirds universe that I'm using for the story is the modern version and not the 1960s version, although there will be some subtle references to the original series. Also, the Adventure Bay depicted in PAW Patrol will be slightly altered in order to fit into the Thunderbirds depiction of the year 2065.
As stated before, I am still in the process of writing the story. Between family events, days off writing, or bouts of writer's block – not to mention the stress-inducing lockdown, I will not have a scheduled release date for the time being. If and when by some miracle I somehow manage to finish it, I will let you know when I'll be posting it for all of you to read. However, if I ever post that I've cancelled it altogether, I'll explain my reasons for doing so, so please don't be disappointed if that happens. For now, be patient and hope for the best, but also be prepared for the worst just in case.
Thank you.
PS: Please don't ask me when is it going to be finished, as even I honestly don't know. Feel free to leave a comment.

Hard to believe I'm 31 years old now. Where has the time gone?

Can't believe it's been this long already...
Posted 5 years agoHard to think it's been four months now. Four months to this day since my sister's falcon Thunder passed away. God, I still miss that little guy...
But as stated before, the important thing is that Thunder is still with us in our hearts and minds, and we should continue remembering all the good times we had with him when he was alive.
If anyone wants to hear more about Thunder, let me know.
Take care, Thunder. Say hi to Tate and Whiskers for us up there...

Happy Easter
Posted 5 years agoHope everyone had a great Easter Sunday. For me, Easter was just like any other day... apart from a surprise visit from the Easter bunny – scratch that, Easter bunnies.
For years we've had several wild rabbits visit the family home, some of which even went as far as to have their babies in our garden. One time we had a bunny we named EverReady (Mom calls her Cookie) have her babies in the garden. Days later when the babies began exploring, we took pictures of them since we adore bunnies so much. We even managed to get one picture of the entire litter (six in total, but one died from possibly a weak heart). There were even days where we were lucky enough to watch the mother nurse her babies. You can only imagine how cute it was seeing the babies flop onto their backs and kick their legs in the air as they were nursed.
The bunnies have gotten so used to us that they actually come right up to us. In fact, they became so tame that they would actually take baby cookies from out of our hands and eat them with us in full view of them. Who knew Arrowroot baby cookies could be so addicting to wild rabbits? One night my mom was asleep in the chair when she woke up around 4:00 AM and saw a bunny right up at the front door looking through the glass into the room. The lengths they'll go to get their cookie craving. Just yesterday, we had three bunnies come and visit, one of which we're certain is one of EverReady's babies we've named Radar given how much his ears turn and twitch like radar dishes (hence his given name).
There's more fun animal stories I have that I might tell at a later time. Happy Easter, everyone!

2020's not a good year for me...
Posted 5 years agoIt's nearly mid-April, but this year had already gotten off to a bad start for me. In addition to the social distancing and self isolation due to the so-called COVID-19 pandemic, we've had to deal with a number of bad times including a death in the family and my two-month long recovery from surgery.
A week or two before Christmas, my sister's falcon Thunder started to significantly slow down on eating. She and my father took him to the vet to get checked. At first we thought it was a sinus infection, so we gave him antibiotics, but it did very little to help him. Then the vet thought it was some form of avian herpes, but that was quickly proven unlikely. Finally by mid-January, Thunder had gotten so weak that he stopped eating all together, and we came to the conclusion that he had nasal cancer. It had gotten to the point that Thunder couldn't hold down any food let alone eat any. It was then we made the hardest decision we'd ever done. On the 20th, we said our last tearful goodbyes to Thunder before he was taken back to the vet to be put down. It's been two and a half months since he passed, and we still miss him a lot. But the important thing is that he's no longer suffering, and that he's still with us in our hearts and minds. We had so many happy times with Thunder in his twelve years in the family.
The day after Thunder was put down, I was admitted to the hospital to have surgery performed on me to have a pilonidal cyst removed. The surgery went well and I spent the whole recovery session at home. During that time, I had one or two episodes of depression, but overall I've recovered enough to be given the all-clear by the head nurse. All that's left is to have a follow-up visit with the surgeon, but it could be a while before I go see him, given the whole COVID-19 crisis going on.
If anyone wants to hear more about Thunder, I'll be happy to tell you. However, I will not be posting any pictures of Thunder online as my sister is under contract by a photographer friend of ours not to distribute any pictures to anyone outside of the immediate family. Please respect my family's wishes as well as mine to keep our photos of Thunder private. Thank you.
