Yay FA is back and already people are complaining. I do like some of the complaints about the online status. Personally I hope it lights a fire under a few procrastinating artists butts and there will probably be a hide your status soon, but aside from that the changes are only modest and really not worth the whining its still a free site.

Awesome 4th of July weekend spent with  ddraglaisdragon Rainy weather kept us home for the most part. Cooked up a tasty Chicken & Artichoke Alfredo meal together.

Weekend was absolutely wonderful, spent the weekend in Dallas over at  rekkie's and  sairo's with my dear  ddraglaisdragon.

Me and Ddrag left out Friday afternoon after I had to do some errands for family and working at getting my aunts internet isp finally switched from the crappy cable service to dsl. I'm much more happy with the speed then the constant outages from the old service. arrived at Rekkies little after 4pm

Sadly Rekkie had to be out of town on business and family issues but we did get to see him before we had to leave Sydney was sooo happy missed his dad x3

Spent most of Friday chilling and relaxing took Ddrag to and Ethiopian restaurant for his Birthday din din hehe nice and spicy but not too spicy, took up  Dook and  spiketxtyger's invitation to see Toy Story 3 at a late night showing. Must say Pixar did and excellent job did leave me on my tippy toes for a moment and it closed the series nicely.

Saturday was my awesome hun's birthday *hugs him* hehe I showed him the line art commission by  fydbac plus he loved the gifts I gave him earlier ^.=.^ Dook and Spike took us to the rainbow lounge. I was a little hesitant at first but the music wasn't blaring and the drinks where great. I did turn several shades of embarrassing red when twink dude sat on my lap bouncing his bony butt on me XP. I didn't know what felt worse me getting singled out or the fact he kept slamming my keys and iphone deep into my thigh. Ddrag, Spike and Dook found it entirely too amusing. Big thanks to Spike for letting us tired dragon's stay at his place for snoozies.

Sunday was awesome Dook, Spiketxtyger, Ddraglais and I went to catch the musical Wicked. We stopped by a Mediterranean place to grab a quick bite to eat and man was it good noms. I loved the entire show especially the defy gravity song. The story puts a new spin on the story of Oz. I do highly recommend watching it. Other than a slight annoying dude that sat in front of me bobbing his head side to side and just wouldn't not stay put it was great.

Everything is going along pretty well, works been slow but its giving me time to catch up on paperwork and reorganize some areas.

Unfortunately I won't be able to go to AC this year, with car troubles and a few unexpected bills taking a flight to Philly and finding a room this late it tends to stretch my budget more than I'm comfortable with. So for those attending I wish you all a great

So I'm hoping this next week runs smoothly as this week did.

I'll be using the rest of the weeks vacation to move in over at my mothers to help her take care of the place now that my dad has left.

The head (made by firestormsix) has only been worn a couple times. The head measures roughly 22" around the forehead.

The paws (made by ArtSlave) will fit most size hands, and were only a few times.

The tail (made by Gel/OMG Pineapples!) fits on a belt using two elastic loops.

I have to say I had a pretty good time there at the convention. There was a few minor inconveniences but overall it was a relaxing experience not like the rush rush feeling you get at the major ones.

Checked in friday afternoon noticed there was still snow on one of the roofs.

I met up with Dook and his brother Khyle got to see them nearly embarrassed at the opening ceremonies. Friday was their birthdays and being identical twins they where each given a red and a blue sash X3 I thought it was too cute. Reg. went smoothly celyddon really worked her heart out keeping the lines moving so smoothly. *gives her a big cookie* Went to celebrate dooks and khyles birthday at the magic time machine but the 2 and a half hour wait was just too long for the 17 or so people that came along. So we popped on over next door to Bj's. Wait was still a little longer than anticipated but not bad for a Friday night in Addison. Met Miles AM had a engaging conversation with him & Khyle's friend Walter. Food was quite excellent. Couldn't really stay up too terribly late having been on call the last three days prior so the bed won out and the strangest dreams of muffins came to mind X.=.x

Saturday woke up quite early 4am and had a slight panic attack that I was late for work :p figured out where I was and fuck it went back to bed. Thank you Crowne Hotel for providing extra blankets and ear plugs and night eye covers (no there not to be used in extra physical matters) those did come in handy. Saturday was spent snooping the dealers den and artist alley. Picked up and absolute wonderful con badge from Dook and several books from Mr. Fuzzwolf. Spent most the day just wandering the halls bumping into familiar faces and those that just knew me by Acroth. It was great to get to meet so many new folks there. Popped in at the art auction Mr. Balto ran it very well. Picked up 3 pieces their 2 where gifts to Khyle and Dook. Was introduced to my first taste of Peruvian cuisine with Khyle, Walter, Myenia and her Faience at Incas I had the Lamato Saltado and a delicious drink chicha morada. Spent the rest of the evening peeking in to several panels chilled out at the corral and got a call in from Silvy. Paid him and Eli a visit then went to Fogo de Chao for dinner and meat coma insured Marthian was the meat master.

Sunday I slept in no nightmares of ninja meat men :p It was rainy. Ate breakfast with Khyle shot the breeze and did more wanderings around the con. Thought I lost my brass badge but getting home I rechecked and it was where I left it so all is well. Met Annie and her BF behind Dook's table picked up a badge from them. Said my good byes to Dook and Khyle hope to see you guys soon again. Over all I enjoyed the con.

troubles with the ATM's where my only gripe. Hotel's ATM was out of order or not connecting to the bank and the one next door had the English tab missing but it was understandable. everything else went pretty well I'll be happy to return next year. Thanks to everyone I met it was it was a blast.

Well its around 6:30 in the morning here checking messages at home and I see not urgent messages from work so that means I don't have to be heading into work. ^.=.^ Sadly it didn't get cold enough here for a snowy Christmas morning but it sure is a bit chilly outside. Enjoying fancy coffee's made for little disposable dixe cups. Yes I got one of those funny coffee makers. which for me works out perfectly if I want a single cup of the java bean. Other gifts was new work clothes, pants and a tie ^^; and for myself I upgraded my old tv set to something a bit more modern. But by far the best gift has been a great friendship I've had started up with Drakhailn. Its wonderful seeing a note in the morning or evening asking you how your days been.

Thank you to everyone that sent gifts, well wishes and cards. Matt the blanket is especially fuzzy and warm cats demand the softness. Thank you Miss Sin, Kace & Flaer, Renny, and Shotking for the Christmas cards and all those that sent yule greetings.

At work right now getting a earful from people complaining why our hours are not 8-5. Holiday hours are 3-5. Dentist appointment went well I didn't cracked a tooth and no cavities. I have to say it makes me very nervous sitting in the dentist chair. Last time I went I was 14 and around that time sonic cleanings where in vogue, the technician didn't seem to think me failing my legs was a sign to stop and for what felt like nearly a half hour I though I was Dustin Hoffman getting the Marathon Man treatment.

And with that I'm going to enjoy some much needed time off after working 3 weeks straight. Traded weekends with a coworker so I could head up to Furry Fiesta that weekend in Feb. Anyway I want to wish everyone traveling this holiday safe travels and Happy holidays to you and your families.

Meh I need to go see a dentist. I've been having pain in my right jaw for the last four days. At first I thought I might be grinding my teeth again but after trying to wear those plates I still have the dull pain in my right jaw. It only really hurts when I eat and as best as I can tell I don't see a cavity. But as my aunt told me not to put it off.

Right now I chew on the left side. Only 2 things I feel it might be is a cavity or one of my wisdom teeth has decided to turn evil. Acroth

2 | Where did the name of your fursona come from?
Well the actually name came from and RP character, writing character I used back when I was 13 or 14. it was easy to remember and spell wasn't generic. There is a back story but I don't feel like going through a trunk of papers digging for it.


3 | What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
Acroth is a anthro bronze dragon, other than always liking dragons I chose bronze dragons because in the D&D lexicon they where considered the more sociable, they would go out of there way to help others and rarely ask anything in return.


4 | What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eyes/etc.
Bronze for the most part usually like a almost dark spine fading to a tan underbelly and emerald green eyes and jet black horns. Why well because I like the colors. I thought gold was too formal and silver too frilly bronze seem more down to earth and warm and inviting

Well Acroth is meant to be a representation of me, so personality wise is pretty much a copy, reserved, shy, sociable awkward a bit stubborn at times, but generally friendly and helpful and caring.

First off granddad is out of the hospital and has been home since Tuesday. He's doing very well even though it takes time for him to get around he's feeling much better. Thank you to everyone that sent in their wishes.

I'm starting my 4 day weekend I will get one every 3 weeks, nice to have a long weekend now I can start planning some trips easier with out eating up any vacation time. I'm also quite happy to see a generous raise in my paycheck before leaving. Hopefully this will certainly help get me out of debt faster.

Went and got myself a haircut so I don't feel like I got a fur hat on my head Xp I'm hoping to go visit a few friends in Dallas, Sunday.

Granddad's surgery went well. Surgery started a bit late during the morning around 8am and wrapped up around 11am. They repaired the aneurysm in his stomach which was the main reason for the surgery and they found and cleared a blockage in his femoral veins they said this should help him get better circulation in his legs. I had a moment I felt really worried but it was just misunderstanding. But he's off the vent now, and he was a little out of it but he knows where he is at and why he was there, he'll be staying in SICU for the night, hopefully he will be well enough to be moved upstairs to his regular room where he will likely stay for the next seven days. I have to say I did nearly break down, but not when I seen him on the vent, that was a bit tough to see but it was when he was able to talk he could see me from the edge of the bed asking why I was way over there that got to me. But I'm feeling alright vastly relived a little tense but not near as much this morning. Grandma and my parents and family are doing pretty good, Hailey my little sister kept bugging me to fix her iphone hehe thankfully it was and easy fix just and update needed and the distraction was a welcome relief. Thanks for everyone's well wishes and prayers.

I feel like crap this morning, sinuses congested and throat all scratchy, really bad nausea went home early from work. Felt I was coming down with a head cold, or just be bad allergies. Either way I have to keep my distance from my grand dad who is scheduled for AAA surgery tomorrow so that has me a bit worried. Right now I'm starting to feel a bit better after a hot shower and long nap.
