About Requests?
Posted 10 years agoI'm doing this now because nothing has come up to really make me angry about it, so this will be of genuine curiosity.
As we all know, I have a great dislike of being asked to Do requests, to the point of putting it everywhere. Now people don't seem to like that, but, BUT, It IS my profile and I have made it obvious before. But that's not the deal today, here are the questions I am going to ask you.
What makes you think an artist should do your request?
Why do you think you deserve free art?
Now, before you give the answer, I want to know a GOOD reason, Not "Because I want to see it" or "I want one" no... I'd like to see something that I can look at and go "This makes sense".
Basically, think of a non personal reason, you think an artist should do a request for you.
Will you get something out of it? No, I just want to know the reasoning behind people asking for them, if they have a non personal reason or not.

Posted 10 years agoAs some may know, there was a little Drama a few days ago on Rogeykun's Pamper Souls pic. A certain someone decided to ask to RP on their pictures, Which honestly, that in of itself is rude. Well, He was at first asked Nicely to not do that, then he got super damn defensive and it snow balled from there. I stepped in too, because honestly the "I do what I want cause THIS is America" when you're on an online place, you may live in America, but online? Is not America.
That being said, he decided to note me, and Oh yes, he said to me he was going to tell on me to Tumblr. Which I did infact, Reblog and showed screen caps of the Event on mine. Which was met with calling me a Heartless Bitch.
Yeah, sure.
Now, I'm gonna show you what I said, keep something in mind here? I'm well aware of how much of a bitch I can be. But I don't do it for shits and giggles, see, fucking with my friends is not going to get you a very friendly response from me. If you decide to continue your bullshit with me, then we're gonna fight. But since he decided he would "Publicly shame me" on Tumblr, Then this is fair game at this point.
Also, after he apologized the first time, I was gonna let this go and drop it, but he had to note me a second time. Don't tell me you're sensitive when you started this shit. But then Telling me to go Die? Sorry Pal, you fucking deserve this now.

Posted 10 years agoMkay so in my recent pic, I mentioned my art drive being fucked up something fierce. Well, I'll elaborate on that right now.
2 Weeks ago we went to the doctor for my PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) and Metabolic syndrome. Long story short, I also have depression, which I was aware of since... I kind of was cutting myself with broken glass? And I have Autism too, which before someone goes "Why does that matter" it matters because it explained why I had a hard time in school and even now, it explains why I have trouble focusing or remembering to do things, Given I was told I was just Lazy and shit by my mom AND her Boyfriend which also caused the depression to rear up really bad.
So we got me Medication for my PCOS, Metabolic Syndrome, and Depression which I have been taking for 2 weeks now. Which it's helping, but I was kind of out of it? Like, kinda hazy and not feeling my art drive. So yeah just kinda been sitting there like "What the fuck am I looking at?"
The Other thing I want to announce is, I finally caved, I can't find work at all, so I'm going to school. It's not College persay, more than a 2 year Program. It's for Computer Tech, because I feel that suites me better than Pharmacy Tech like my mom wanted me to take. I'm going to be starting this up coming Monday.
BUT that leads into a Policy I have mentioned before, but I am now going to be Much more "strict" about. Which is the Anti-Pester Policy. Which is this.
If you ask me weekly about your commission's progress, I will start putting you lower and lower on my Queue List (Strike 1)
If you continue to pester me about it, I will Block you until it is finished (Strike 2)
If you do this to me again, whatever commission I am doing for you will be canceled and your Money returned, and you will be put on my commission Black list permanently (Strike 3)
I've already put a few people on there for these offenses, because I'm very intolerant of it, especially with school starting soon for me.
And my Anti Jackass Policy, will also be in play
If you harass me in anyway and are being a complete shitlord to me, you're blocked permanently.
Which Blocking also counts as Commission Blacklisting.

I'm not the Problem (RL Venting)
Posted 10 years agoYou know, I feel much better today now. But my mom’s Boyfriend is being a shitty person.
My mom had gotten pissed at me yesterday for not Vacuuming for the past couple of weeks? And demanded I vacuum everyday, and then how I “Never do anything but sit on my ass” when that’s not true, Cause I tend to unload and reload the dishwasher, feed and water the dogs, take out the trash, and things they’ll ASK me to do. So I did all that, plus vacuum, she got home and we talked about it. I never ONCE complained when I do these tasks.
She wasn’t pissed at ME, she was pissed at her boyfriend. An outside source had pissed him off and THAT’S when he decided to say “Your daughter doesn’t do anything here, she didn’t even vacuumed like we asked. And grabbed the vacuum and began to do it instead of asking me to do it. He was being childish so to speak. Well, He has a son who stayed the night? He had asked him to make his bed, he didn’t, so what’s he do? Makes his bed for him. and that’s when my mom called him out.
Whenever his son comes over? He won’t even keep the door to his room open when his GIRLFRIEND is here. Or if he’s asked to help with the house, he makes up an excuse or says he’s not feeling well and goes home. He is also flunking 4-5 of his classes, but he doesn’t get any shit for this, and all he does is drive around all day with the car his dad fixed for hi. He won’t even text his dad, when this man told my mom the few times I forgot to text her? Was that I needed my computer taken from me.
His daughter, when she lived here, never lifted a finger to help clean either. She hoarded dishes in her room downstairs where I am now (She has her own place with her Fiance). And My mom’s boyfriend? Only cleans when HE has company coming over or whenever HE wants to clean.
Before they were dating more seriously, my mom was pretty cool with me not wearing make up or doing my hair unless I was going out somewhere. But because HE WANTS ME TO AND CHEWS HER OUT FOR MY CHOICE IN NOT WEARING IT. I get screamed at and threatened and how I’m “Ungrateful”. Not cool on her part, but her boyfriend needs to back his shit off. He’s not my fucking dad, and even my own dad doesn’t give a fuck what I wear.
But yeah, my mom apologized to me today and even told me that I do a lot more than he gives me credit for.
So yeah... I’m not the problem.

When it comes to making Gift Art
Posted 10 years agoIf someone you know or are acquainted with is doing Gift art, don't ask if you're getting gift art from that person, that is so shitty to do to someone.
If you have the gull to call them harsh names because they might just be drawing other artists 'Sonas, You're a shitty person, Get the fuck out.
I've had a few past instances where I would do gift art and then get a note like "Man, sure would be nice to get some gift art from you" That's... Not cute, and quite frankly, I would be in the right to just flat out Block you. That is crossing a line in my opinion, people do gift art for many reasons, sometimes just cause.
If I'm doing art of a character of your's, it's either cause I'm doing something for fun, it's a special occasion, or you're a really good friend of mine and you don't see it coming.
Before anyone asks, I'm doing a couple of them, and am making this journal ahead of time to warn that if you ask me, I will just straight up block you. Thank you and have a good day

Blackflameheart (AKA: Apoc) after 15+ Hours on the road to get our Friend, has retrieved him and left his house at essentially 11:30 this morning. They should be arriving Safely by tomorrow late morning or Early afternoon. Now, Apoc's Mom was however, Awesome enough to let him use her credit Card for the Trip to and from. So what they plan to do is tally up what they had spent and I will be giving the difference to them.
From all the commissions I had taken this month, I have received $395 within 7 days
This means, with his Donations he was given, We had raised $510 total.
I CANNOT THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH, HOLY SHIT WE WENT PAST THE MAX AMOUNT WE NEEDED, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
Seriously, this is amazing, given how terrified I was at the start of this, but we pulled through it.
