It has been a long summer, and I have been working tirelessly to get my third novel out. As I continue to do that, I will allow people who wish to commission me for written commissions. I woke up at about 10 am today and just didn't feel like doing anything productive at all. When I am not out seeing furries or up to something literary wise my life is pretty boring. What more can I say? No one has spoken to me lately on this site and I cannot draw to save my life so if I contribute anything it will be book excerpts or poems perhaps. I have however done a lot of thinking about Califur and how suddenly after the event everyone at Prancing Skiltaire knows who I am.Who would have thought going to one convention would bring my standing from Nobody special to " Ah you are that guy who had the Scythe at the event cool!" Despite this I still remember one older dude I kept running into randomly who after greeting would seem to stare into my soul and didn't even have a cosplay. It was kind of creepy and I couldn't describe to you the look he gave but I am sure a number of people who attended ran into him at least once if they saw me. It was a bit unsettling to say the least. That aside I won't be deterred from attending more conventions in the future and I hope that my sexual orientation doesn't lead to any unnecessary heartbreaks. I know I am underrepresented at these events but I love the fandom as a whole. Where else can I be how I am and not feel judged among them? You can be the most socially awkward person in the normal world but in that fandom nobody gives a $#!+. Regular society can learn a thing or two from people in this fandom. Last but not least I have formed a secret society of fans of my Book series and fans shall from this day forth be a part of a secret society known as Forsakenism. Members will be called Forsakenists. As a forsakenist all I ask of you is that you do your part to help people who in some aspect in life haven't been dealt a fair hand and welcome them with love if it is safe to do so. Naturally there are a handful of people too unstable to get near without extreme risk to life or limb and I would never ask anyone to welcome people that dangerous. However if we can it would be great to be there for those who feel beside themselves and stuck as to how to fix their situation. To do this is to prevent not just suicide but perhaps countless other violent crimes they would have committed having had nothing to lose. Thus we shall give them something to lose so they do not do this. Amen!
