"Pichu Pichu! #5: Animal Magnetism Part 2" 8% - It's moving, at long last. I've got, like, a single page done, but it's actually going somewhere. I might give it a subtitle as well if I come up with something.
Inactive:
"Teirusu Tsuu!" 2% - An experiment with the idea of a Tails x Tails scene. Sketchy ideas at best currently, though pulling inspiration from several images I've seen of such.

Current project queue/status report
Posted 19 years agoSometimes I amaze myself...but that usually isn't the case. :P
Okay, so here's the lowdown on what's going on with my writing lately. First off, it's slow in general, due to either work itself or being overly worn out because of work. Secondly, I've now got 3 different projects in the lineup (in no particular order of priority or preferrence):
1: PP#5: Currently exists only as a thought...I've yet to come up with a good way to lead in from where #4 left off.
2: ???: One I've not got a title for, but the plotline is solidified enough. I'm going to take my favorite 2-tailed orange foxy boy and split him into 2 1-tailed foxy boys. Inspired by a number of pics I've seen of the idea and a unique ability possessed by a fur I know (I hope she doesn't mind...). I've considered possibly making it an extension of the TT series...but I'm undecided on that at this point in time.
3: ???: Another mystery story, and it's going to be the most vague, for the moment. It's a gift-story for someone's b-day, and going to end up very-much-so-belated...but I will get it to you someday, I promise (you know who you are, and this is your final sneak-peek at your present :P).
That's about it. If anything substantial happens, I'll keep you guys informed. Peace.

Oh, and by the way, I'm pretty much taking story suggestions/requests now. I dunno about commisions, I haven't really thought on it much and it's not like I need the extra money...but maybe in the future sometime. But, for now, if anyone has any good ideas or requests for something I should write, speak up! I'm pretty dried up at the moment, so any help is much appreciated. ^_^
And, for those that are keeping track, don't expect results on PP#5 for quite some time. I'm having trouble getting it going and it's really frustrating me to the point where I often don't feel like working on it...but I'll get somewhere with it eventually, I promise.

Edit2: Okay, if my gallery isn't showing my stuff, then apparently I'm the only one that can see them...as I checked some other users, and the gallery reflects what's on the userpage...I dunno. Maybe FA is just having a really big heart-attack or something.
Edit3: The first 2 edits are pointless, as is most of the text below. Somehow I managed to turn off my adult artwork setting, and took me until just now to notice. Go me. I'm a big dork, apparently.
Now, for your guys' sake, I hope you actually bothered to read this. With all the talk about accounts being compromised lately, I'm sure many of you are/were thinking "Yeah, I'm good." as far as passwords or whatnot goes. I was. I thought I'd been careful. I thought I was secure. Wrong. The one key thing that I didn't think really mattered came back to bite me hard. For simplicity's sake, I typically use the same password (or slight variations thereof) for most things...I didn't figure it was a big deal. But apparently some asshole got ahold of one that just so happened to match my FA password and took the liberty of clearing my submission list for me. Now, I've realized that the fact that I have only 4 favs now is attributed to other people's galleries suffering massive deletions as well, so I'm starting to wonder if maybe it's more than just a password security issue...I mean, it's a bit farfetched to that that so many people's accounts could be compromised overnight, let alone practically everyone on my watch list...but we need to be careful now. Passwords should be changed regardless of whether one has been affected or not...security is of the utmost importance right now. And, to all my avid readers, I'll have my stuff back up soon. It's frustrating, having lost all the comments I've received, but there's not much that can be done about it at this point.

Now, I've realized that the fact that I have only 4 favs now is attributed to other people's galleries suffering massive deletions as well, so I'm starting to wonder if maybe it's more than just a password security issue...I mean, it's a bit farfetched to that that so many people's accounts could be compromised overnight, let alone practically everyone on my watch list...but we need to be careful now. Passwords should be changed regardless of whether one has been affected or not...security is of the utmost importance right now. And, to all my avid readers, I'll have my stuff back up soon. It's frustrating, having lost all the comments I've received, but there's not much that can be done about it at this point.

Posted 19 years agoJust a short little thing to let my avid readers know what's up. PP#5 is on the backburner for the moment, due to work and being tired from work taking up most of my time currently...that and a very strange and sudden lack of interest in it. It's weird, I know...but I won't abandon it completely, I promise you that. I am still writing though...working on another little side project that doesn't belong to any series I've got going. Essy knows what I'm talking about. It's basically a collab. between us, with him throwing out some fantastic ideas and me doing most of the body work...expect results very soon, it's going quite smoothly at this point. So, in summary:

The manager wants to get me started ASAP as he's desperately short on drivers, apparently. I'll be in for orientation on Tuesday or Wednesday and most likely starting by the end of the week.

Posted 19 years agoUnfortunately my crappy memory has already lost most of the details of it (that and it's hard to remember dreams to begin with...), but I do know that I was a Pichu, and I had a kid (also Pichu), and there were a bunch of other 'mon in it...something about a park or something and then a big explosion, then some cave we walked through where I had to beat the crap out of some others that were apparently there to stop me...it's all really fuzzy now. I do think I caused myself to dream of being a 'chu though...so I'll see if I can replicate the occurrence and get some better results. Now, you 13 people, share your odd dreams with me!

...Damnit. How can I not be upset about this? I know you all know what I'm talking about, so I won't bother giving another explanation of what's going on. It just really bothers me...as far as the poll itself goes, I think it's quite obvious what side I'm on. Every piece of writing I've uploaded shows it. If this goes through...if the powers that be get their way...well, it looks like I'm gonna have to move my stuff. Again. I already know exactly where it'll end up...the one place that this can't happen to: CubCentral. I'll make it public so people won't have to worry about getting a paid-for email address...but it's going to be a serious blow nonetheless. I won't leave FA completely though. I'll still stick around and keep an eye out for more awesome artwork...and I'll let you guys know, through my journals or whatever, how my progress is going. So don't worry Tsu, you'll know ASAP when I've finished #5. :P
On the other side, if cub art stays, well, this journal has absolutely no point to it. Go figure.

Posted 19 years agoDespite all the people throwing torrents of it around, I've no regrets about shelling out 50 bucks for this excellent game. It takes PSO and completely redefines it...and, currently, there's not much I don't like about this game. The online is obviously the main feature, and again I don't mind paying an extra $10/month to enjoy this to its fullest. The only real complaint I have is the current lack of content online...but I guess that will gradually change as Sega releases patches over time. So, I guess what I'm saying is don't be surprised if my already low productivity level drops to near nothingness due to all my time being consumed (once again :D) by an MMO (I don't care what anyone says, PSU IS an MMORPG).
Furthermore, for those that also play the game, I'm known as Adilor (big surprise :P), currently a Lv20 male Force Newman (aka FOnewm :D), usually seen doing relics runs on Universe 2. 2's like my number and stuff, so that's usually the univ. I'm in. Unless I can't get into it, then I usually opt for 3.

Caffeine FTW. I don't do any of the illegal (or "medicinal") drugs, and that's by personal choice. :D My favorite source of the big C: Mountain Dew Code Red. Don't ask me how much I drink a day, it might just scare you.

Hmm...toughie. I'd have to say either the compy or the Gamecube. The GC entertains me while the compy assists with other activities...so I'd call it a tie.

Umm...really big insects...large crowds of people (or at least being stuck in the middle of them)...sometimes darkness, depending on the situation...I'm okay with heights, I just don't like the thought of falling from them. I fell out of a tree once! :D

I've been wearing briefs all my life...I sleep in boxers though. Recently, however, I've considered making the switch to boxer-briefs...best of both worlds, if you ask me. :P

Again, I don't eat most veggies due to my food allergies...but I'd have to say mushrooms, even though it's more of a fungus then a veggie. Or olives, which I suppose could technically be defined as a fruit. :P

Probably my tendency to gnaw on my fingernails for no apparent reason.

Numerous...once at almost every dental app., the time I fell out of that tree, the time I thought I broke my leg on the trampoline...there are others, I just can't think of them at the moment.

I don't make food, really...Raine (ToS) and I are about equivalent in cooking skill. :P

Posted 19 years agoYep, my scarcely-numbered avid readers will be happy to know that I'm out of my slump, and 3 pages into my latest work. I've no clue how I even get into them in the first place...it just happens on a subconscious level, I suppose. Oh well. Anyways, expect a finished product in...oh, I'd say 3 weeks, give or take about a month. :P As a bonus, I've already disclosed the title, which is odd because ususally I write the whole thing, then come up with a title based on it...but this time it just came to me along with the new ideas. Go figure.
Man, life is so dull sometimes...
Posted 19 years agoFirstly, I'm in a slump. I haven't written anything in almost 3 weeks, and it's really bugging me. It's not writers' block...I have the inspiration and the ideas, I just don't feel the motivation. Secondly, things are really, really boring around here lately. It's just the same old thing day after day...Thirdly, I hate being broke. It's bad enough that I can't get a job in this dustbowl of a sorry town, that I'm always having to hawk my family and friends for Dew money...but suddenly I discover that there are about a dozen games out that I really want, which just compounds the whole thing. Seriously, life sucks right now. Now, don't get me wrong...I'm not gonna turn emo or anything...I just feel like I have to gripe about it occasionally. It does seem to help a bit...definitely not enough though. Sorry if I left anyone feeling overly depressed...
