So I know custom thumbnails are working for other people when they upload stuff, but for some reason, I am trying to upload a custom thumbnail and it is not saving.

I have tried saving it is a JPG and scaling it to the 250px longest edge size, and i have even tried uploading the full sized blurred image and made FA regenerate the thumbnail from that and then retied uploading the original file without generating a new thumbnail only for it to change back.

I don't know if this is specifically a problem when the original file in a PNG or not, but whether i search for it, or view it from the scraps tab, it shows the actual upload file and not the custom thumbnail.

Does anyone know why FA is being an absolute B**** at the moment?

Addendum: I have thus decided to remove my two journals concerning the recent state of affairs in regards to the protesting, because it has become increasingly clear that people are going to make assumptions about my stance on the matter regardless of how I word or phrase it and misconstrue and warp the meaning of my words into what they think I am saying and not what I am actually saying. Only proving the points made in the videos below.

I have had the unfortunate encounter to watch an artist that I greatly respected turn to being so shallow as to bury their head in the sand and hide comments of people who disagree with turning a blind eye to the violence being committed by more than just the officers, whether it being people associated with the protests or not, thus tacitly condoning those actions and calling us tone deaf. But also allowing comments that read "Who cares, they should have the fear of God put into them because it is the righteous thing to do" which tells me that they are not after justice, but vengeance. And it is this type of thinking that historically has led to more harm than good.

If you are willing to harm others to further your own goal, then you are no better than what you are fighting against, I am fine with fighting for justice, but not at the cost of doing more harm to innocent people, the ends do not justify the means!

I originally had this really long detailed post about my issues with trying to talk to people with regards to current events, and then I remembered Vertasium made two excellent videos that ironically are incredibly relevant, especially now, because I have people make assumptions about what my stance and what my arguments are in regards to current events without actually reading the words I have used but rather assuming they know what I am saying and assuming that if I understand why something is that it must also mean that I am excusing or justifying something else when in reality that is not the case as they are not mutually inclusive events or thoughts.

So as I will occasionally be making art of more fetish materials; I am at the cross roads of deciding what I want to and what I don't want to upload here.

The primary fetish for right now that some personal friends have taken an interest in is watersports; and I think that is about as fetishy/kinky as it will get aside from maybe more bondage type stuff.

SO, long story short, I want/need to upgrade my laptop as it is 6.5 years old.

Problem is that I have looked at and purchased 3 different laptops and have returned 2 of them.

1. Asus TUF, literally took it out of the box and immediately took it back, the casing was a cheaply made plastic that felt like I could snap it with my bare hands.

2. MSI Predator(?) I forget the exact model, but it was a higher end gaming laptop, the keyboard was kind of meh, but the sound is what really nixed it for me, it was loud, but the speaker were buried in the chassis of the machine and placed near the front edge, the part that sat closest to the table, so it had tons of reverb and almost no bass.

3. The HP OMEN; the one currently in my possession, everything feels nice about it, but again, the sound is the biggest issue, it is better than the MSI, but it again lacks any sort of bass. It sound great if I want to listen to piano concertos and that is all; but the moment I want to listen to a podcast it sounds awful literal garbage. I turn the Bang and Olufsen off and the podcasts sound way better, but then any music sounds super flat.

My old laptop is an HP ENVY and at the time it came with Beats Audio so it has the top panel speaker, two smaller front edge speakers and in the back corner by the optical drive it has a small 1.5" sub And it sounds infinitely better than either the MSI or the OMEN; which to me is just brilliantly stupid that the two newer laptops have worse audio than a laptop that is 6.5 years old, a dinosaur in terms of technology by comparison.

Is it even possible to find a laptop that is balanced to have good all around audio while still being able to play games with a mid tier GPU?
