Abandoning Your Pet
Posted 15 years agoThough this is HIGHLY discouraged, you have the choice of putting your Adoptable back into the Orphanage in exchange for another. There's no penalty, but your adoptable will be very sad. It will CRY. Can you live with that? CAN YOU LIVE WITH YOURSELF!?
    Breeding
Posted 15 years agoFor $5 you get two babies. One with the template of the mother and coloring pattern of the father, and the other vice versa. One for each parent! Of course, you'll need each Adoptable to be opposite genders to breed, so make sure you check. A normal Adoptable bred with a Mutant Adoptable will cost more depending on difficulty and two Mutants breeding will result in an even higher cost. Of course, if one of the owners is okay with just having their one Adoptable, the fee will be lowered as only one Bred Adoptable will be produced rather than two.
KEEP IN MIND that the Adoptables must be compatible for breeding. We can't have an Adoptable that's a mammal to breed with a reptile. The guidelines are simple: mammals and mammals, birds and birds, etc.

Custom Adoptables
Posted 15 years agoThese are basically commissions, so please read this. Your custom adoptable can have anything it wants. And I mean anything. Mutations from horns, bat wings, bird wings, tails, etc., it's all up to you!
Custom and normal adoptables are different in a few ways. First, you may have more than one custom pet. Second, they're made to order. If you'd like to order a custom adoptable, please include the following in a note and I will note you back and quote you a price!
Name of your Adoptable-to-be:
Gender: self-explanatory :3
Owner: That's you!
Description: Please be detailed with this. As much as I'd like to, I can't read minds so anything not included here won't get drawn.
When ordering a custom adoptable please take your time and carefully check over your description to make sure it's clear and exactly what you want. Large changes far into the process are very time consuming, and I may ask for extra compensation if they're necessary so please be careful to ask for exactly what you want the first time!

How To Adopt
Posted 15 years agoHere at the Adoptables Orphanage, we strive to find each Adoptable a caring and loving home. At the same time, though, we'd like to make it fair and make sure that each person has a chance to adopt his/her own Adoptable so! Here are the rules:
- There will be some Adoptables that will need certain requirements to obtain, some more easy than others. For instance, one of the easy ones is to name them! For example:
i.e. "This Adoptable is female, so give her a name to fit her personality! (Enter personality here). If you'd like to adopt her, please comment with 'Claim: Name you'd like here.'"
Generally, Adoptables will be given out first come first serve. There are, however, a few notable exceptions. For example, if the pet is described as "a Bunyip with a sweet personality, so a sweet name is most fitting for her!" and you want to name her Robert Pattenson, I may have to defer and give her to the next person instead.
At this time, everyone is entitled to only one Adoptable to make things fair. I will decide when the time is right to start letting people adopt another if they're still interested. A record will be kept on file with your name and the name of your Adoptable as to make sure that everything stays fair.
HOWEVER.
If you're breeding, you're entitled to one Adoptable and one Bred Adoptable. It would be wrong to keep kin away from parents! Please see Breeding for more details.
