i started college last fall, knowing exactly what i was doing. i was going to school for Aerospace engineering. had never failed anything in school. now, two semesters later, i am undecided and coming off a semester in which i failed every single class, putting me in academic probation. in two words OH FUCK. i was essentially kicked out of my major and lost a major scholarship. i am now at a 1.39 gpa over all,will owe 4000plus more out of my own pocket per year and have no idea what to do. obviously, i should take a bunch of gimme classes to build up my GPA but which ones?
i dont even know what i want to study any more. nothing seems right. and if i dont go to school my only choice is to get a job and i have been tryig to get one for the last 6 weeks with no luck. the only thing that is going right for me is getting my drivers license, and thats cause i was PUShed to do so. people tell me choose what you love to do, but 1. I DONT KNOW WHAT I LOVE TO DO THAT IS OCCUPATIONALLY VIABLE and 2. I"M AFRAID OF FAILING AGAIN or 3. CHANGING MAJORS SO MANY TIMES TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT THAT I END BEING AN UNDERGRADUATE FOREVER.
I've been praying for the "gibbs moment" as i call it where god or some other intuition or sense tlls me "DUH this is what you are suppose to be doing" it hasnt come. i've thought through things , i've prayed, i've prayed a diffrent way, i've asked for diffrent things, and its has been silent as a tomb. i feel like a failure because i havent been hired yet and cant seem to get to teh end of a plan. ( i was originally trying to become and officer in hte U.S. Navy or Marine Corps, then become an aerospace engineer) every one else from my graduating class seems to have it all together. i was saying to them senior year, i was going to a,b,c,and d. what do i say in 10 years at the reunion (aka high school revisited?) when im either doing something completely diffrent or not doing anything at all?

Posted 14 years agoooookkk... so my ex got a new boyfriend last month. now, about 4 weeks later, she texts me asking ME how to break up with him. im seriously laughing may ass off, and ready to scream at the same time. her reasons for breaking up wiht this guy? no real conversation, no direction etc. pretty much complete opposite of what i was. so my question is... First observed in New York after the Civil War, it was intended to remember all those who died on both sides. after World War 1, it was expanded to include ALL American military personnel who died. After Vietnam, with its copious amounts of uncelebrated and uncared for veterans it was expanded again to include all military personnel who died OUTside of a combat zone.
This Weekend, please remember all of the men and women who died to keep this country's freedom, and helped try to stabilize this world.

Posted 14 years agois any one familiar with AIM? as in fixing it? im using the online client, and for about a week it has crasshed as soon as i had logged in. i am using a completly up to date firefox. after the crash i am getting a "adobe flash plugin has crashed" message. my flash is also up to date. the last time this was doing this i had to make a completely new account. can someone help me or send me to some one who can?
