My first ever furry convention!
General | Posted 15 years agoLast weekend I was at my first ever furry convention. Don't ask me why but this seemed like the place to mention it.
The three words that best describe the whole experience are as follows.
Totally Fucking Awesome
The con in question was RBW. Set in the wonderful if security obsessed location of Canary Wharf (My cab to the hotel hit a roadblock/checkpoint manned by local rent-a-cops)
The theme of the event was "space cowboys" which translates as firefly, cowboy bebop, and anything of that kidney. Fursuits and NERF guns are a really, really good combination.
The highlight was the boat party, a floating disco down the Thames aboard the Erasmus, a well equipped party boat, which boasted the combined spectacles of a good sound system, ceiling mounted disco lights and hundreds of partying furries.
It cost all my money, I passed out a couple of times (first day fatigue, second day rum, and I made it safely to the hotel room before doing anything to make a fool of myself),and it took valuable time away from university and I am already saving for next year, and confuzzled into the bargain.

General | Posted 15 years agoJust looking over my account and realised that it's been fully three months since I've posted here, so an update is necessary.
I have finished high school and have now got a lot more time to draw, write, and stick interesting things up here, but then again I said that in my last post and managed to post a staggering total of 4 pieces since. In my defence I have one drawing pencilled and ready to post, and intend to colour it soon.
I am preparing to go to RBW in a few months, providing I can raise a couple of grand for travel, accommodation and eating and drinking for 3 nights in a capital city. I am job hunting for this reason, so hopefully will be blessed with the opportunity to wait tables for minimum wage soon. sarcasm aside I still live at home, so a small wage will go a very long way.
so there's my life for the past 3 months.

new material
General | Posted 15 years agoI've finally got some new submissions up (a week ago, I'm lazy)
It's my Easter holidays just now so the chances of more submissions are slightly higher than usual, but with exams and such to be studying for I wouldn't get my hopes up.
(not that anyone would get their hopes up to see my crappy drawing anyway)
