Update on Stomach Health
General | Posted 13 years agoWell, after going to a couple of doctors, I learned that it might not be an Ulcer, it just might be my GERD acting up (due to stress, my habit of consuming loads of unhealthy foods and acidic drinks, and me taking a weak acid suppressant for years).
SO they prescribed me some stronger stuff, and hopefully they'll take care of my tummy troubles.

Man ... fuck Ulcers
General | Posted 13 years agoDamnit, Im pretty damn sure I have another Ulcer! Run down of the symptoms:
- Mild, deep pain in the bottom of my chest, ongoing for days, and aggravated by eating, or laying down.
- Exhaustion.
- Bitter taste in mouth.
- Stuff that is probably TMI but you can probably guess what it is if you had an ulcer before (has to do with the fact that there's a damn hole in your stomach).
- Very long history of stomach problems, including a previous ulcer, and having acid reflux since I was 14.
- Carelessly drinking large amounts of Gatorade and Citrus Sodas, and eating spicy/fatty foods.
Right now Im limiting my drinks to just water, no greasy/spicy foods, and Im taking Prilosec OTC, along with my usual prescription of Zantac and Tylenol, but Im being safe and will see a doctor on Sept. 4th ... though with my luck, Ill just suffer through it and it will be healed by the time I get to see them. Pah.
I need a stomach transplant :p

Possible gaming PC setup, opinions wanted
General | Posted 14 years agoWell, after a few months of saving up, I'm finally getting ready to build a gaming PC, my first one actually.
Now, Im not looking for the best of the best, nor am I too picky, I just need something that can fit my budget, will last for a few years, and can play games at a decent FPS (right now the only games I have in mind are WoW and TF2, not very needy, but stuff my current PC cant handle D: ). However, Im unsure about the compatibility, and am also curious of the opinions/improvements from others. Anyway, for the list of parts:
Motherboard - ASRock P67 PRO3 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX

CPU - Intel Core i5-2500 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost)

RAM - G.SKILL NS 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM

Video Card - EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 560 1GB

Storage - SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB SATA II 3.0Gb/s

Optical Drive - ASUS SATA 24X DVD Burner
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16827135204
Power Supply - SeaSonic M12II 620W 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular

Case - COOLER MASTER CM690 II Advanced 2x 140mm 1 x 120mm

The OS, Monitor, and Keyboard/Mouse Im already good to go on, I'm just curious about these parts.
Im also concerned on whether or not I need a cooler for my CPU ... and no, I'm not familiar with the concept of overclocking :p
