Well what is up everyone?

Just figured I would give you all a little update as to what has been going on and really everything has been going great for me!

I really do hope that everything is going the same for everyone else around here because for me I know I am about to start a very important event in my life and that is head off to Colorado in fort Collins for collage in about 3 weeks as my first official collage classes start there on Monday the 25th and I just gotta say that sure is VERY exciting for me.

But the most EXCITING thing that is happening tomorrow is that it is my BIRTHDAY tomorrow!!!!!! Wooooooooo!!!! Yes I will be officially a freshmen again soon and 19 starting at 12:00 tonight so this for me is really great :p

And again I just want to say thank you to all of those of you who are still here to support me and everything and I know I have not been around as much as I always have been in the past but to be truthful I have done that over this past year as to distance my self from this site in a good way as I know for a fact going into collage I will not have NEARLY as much time as I have had in the past and that way I don't get any kind of FA separation anxiety for any reason but heck I cannot escape this place so I am NOT going anywhere anytime soon ^^

And all of this is for...yep you guessed it whoever said Alaska in the way very back! X3

Anyway, yes it is true as I have officially returned from my awesome frontier life experience in Alaska and parts of Canada and all I can say is just...WOW!!!

I mean that I would have to say had to be the best vacation of my LIFE ^^ It always has been a extreme want for me (and very high on my bucket list for one thing) to go to Alaska and I really was not Dissipointed at all!!

Now for those who don't know I posted A journal earlier before I left for that trip talking a little bit about what I would be doing but here is a rough version of what happened exactly. So I had to fly into Vancouver in order to board my cruse ship and having been my first time in Canada ever I must say I am very impressed with both how different and similar things are Vancouver and while I did not get much time to explore there I lucked out and had a guild as our transit driver to the docks so I got a free ride to my ship and a free tour of the city witch was just great to say the least. Now the cruse ship that I was on was called the "Coral Princess" as I had taken the Princess cruse brand that I will just say is very impressive, defiantly the nicest brand I have ever sailed with. So from there began a 7-day long cursing of the inside passage of the Alaskan "Pan-handle" with stops in various ports of call such as Ketchikan, Skagway, and Juneau with scenic cursing in places like Glacier Bay national park and Collage Fjord. Now after this we disembarked the ship in Witter, Alaska and headed by train to Denali National Park where we stayed a few nights in 2 different resorts, all maintained by the Cruse line and I became part of the lucky 30% to see Mount McKinley and even luckier to see it by way of rail and up close (Within 40 miles) on a clear day witch is very rare for Alaska which as the mourtian creates its own weather.

Then of coarse it called for a stop in Anchorage after the lodges in Denali and then the flight back to home.

And of coarse that was my Alaskan adventure and I hope that all of you have had a great past few weeks and as always Hugs and wags and have a great rest of your day!

Yes that is right!!

So I know I just went out of town for a mini-vacation to Colorado in order to sign up for my classes at my future school Colorado State University in Fort Collins Colorado in one of there many summer orientation secession's.

However for now I am headed to a state that has been on my bucket list for a LONG time now and at about 12:00 tomorrow I will be on a cruse in Vancouver headed for the inlet passage in Alaska!! It really is going to be a blast for me I know and for those of you who are from Alaska and those who have been before I am very proud to say I have been to this state and I am one EXCITED PUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am one very SUPER excited PUP right now *Hyper-wags ^^* and for now I am headed out to officially become a Colorado state "Ram" and sign up for all my classes, get to know some future students, have meals inside their dining facility's, stay in a dorm to see what it is like ect. so things like that in one of there orientation sections that is designed to also help me sign up for all my classes and things of that nature so that is what I will be doing for the next 3 days.

So I will be back on Thursday and I will be one step closer to collage life then and it should be a pretty fun 3 days anyway so I think I will enjoy myself out there. Anyway see you all when I get back and have a great rest of your week!

•What is the name of your fursona?

Kody wolf Davis and for my painted dog fursona Salvo "Painted" Davis X3

•Where did the name of your fursona come from?

Well to start with my wolf-dog fursona who is my original fursona that I started FA with well I took inspiration from one of my fave movies of all time called "Balto" and I just have always loved wolves and the wilds of Alaska and the wild and a lot of that kind of sled-dog type racing style and sport as well as just wolfs in general and the story of that movie just had always wowed me over and I have always loved that movie! Well for those of you whop are familiar with the trilogy then you are familiar with the 3rd move, "Balto 3, Wings of change" and while it is NO where as great as the original (But to be fair most all sequiles are always never as great as the orgionals ^^) Balto has a son named Kodiak after the massive island off the Aleutian island chain. Well the name "Kody" I have always liked and his name just really stuck with me so I actuily took the name and a rough character design off of Baltos son "Kodi" from the 3rd film and really the name and the character just stuck and that is where we are today! :p

Now for my newer Fursona "Salvo" comes from a more real-world perspective as for those of you who know I work/volunteer out at a local "Endangered Wolf Center" set of by the famous biologist called Marlin Perkins back in the 1970's who mission is to protect a specific number of endangered wolf candid species in order to insure there survival. Well one of those endangered Candis happen to be the African Painted Dog and one of the ones at the center is named "Salvo" and since I started working/volunteering out there I have just fallen in love with these guys and am very fascinated by them and for me the name "Salvo" just stuck with me and that is how he became my newest character!

•What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?

Well I did explain where my choice for the species for my 2 fursonas came from above pretty well so if you want to know just read above but I will list what they are so you all can see it more directly: Kody is a Wolf-dog (Half Siberian Husky and Half "Mackenzie Vally" Grey wolf)
and so yeah...im a weasel. :)

•What color is your fursona and why?

Well my Wolf-dog fursona Kody is a mix between Red and cream white/white and my African painted dog character Salvo is a mix between Black, Brown, tan, and white

•What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?

Well kodys is a very kind and slightly shy/out going type of personality and is rather smart and my painted dog has a very much more coolers, outgoing personality as he is MUCH more social than Kody and he is quite the life of the party and can be very mischievous and sometimes a very loose cannon or a bad boy type while all being not very douche-baggy at all and still very helpful and nice and actually both of my fursonas are somewhat based off of my actually RL personality, more-so Kody than Salvo but you would get that if you meat me fact to face heh X3

•What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?

Actually that is a good question as My fursonas don't actually have any specific items that pertain to them but I would have to say that Kody has been sighted with a kind of grey wolf type plush before and I do own one of those and it is my fave stuffed animal and always has been so I would say that is the closest thing that he "owns" that I actually own in real life that is significant to me pessary ^^

•What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet

That is a great question and I guess we would never really know unless it actually happens IRL but I would say they would probably ask me who it was and how great it finally was to meet me for once maybe heh ^^

•What is one thing you would say to your fursona?

I would probably ask them what it is like to be a anthro wolf-dog/painted dog and how they pull it off and that it was nice to meet them face-to-face finally? X3

•How has your fursona changed over the years?

Not much if at all actually, I really have not changed up my firsonas much at all because I like them just the way they are ^^

•How long have you had this fursona?

Well around this Halloween it would be 3 years for Kody and about 2 years for Salvo this coming February ^^

•Would you like to be more like your fursona?

Personality wise...we are pretty much the same give or take some DRASTIC things so really already there. :) Physically looking like...well I guess it would depend if I would like to stop being a human and become either a wolf-dog or and Arican Painted Dog really heh X3

7. Where do you usually go to welcome a new pet? Well I suppose it really depends but mainly adoption shelters or places that are selling some such as pet stores liek Petsmart for example ^^

8. If you could have any animal as a pet? It would defiantly have to be a whole sled team for the piratical pet idea but my dream pet would be a African painted dog/ maned wolf/ wolf/wolf-dog ^^

9. Are they hard to care for? yes and no. :3

10. Do they get bathed often? Well my cat can groom herself most times and I would not DARE put her in water X3 And my dog SHOULD get groomed more than once a year but we are kinda lazy on that so I would say at average 2 time a year X3

11. How often are they taken to the vet? Unless there is an emergency only when they are needed there really.

12. Are any of them outside pets? All inside and cozy but my dog could live outside :)

13. If you have more than 1 pet, do they fit often? Well my dog is one of THE chillest dogs you could ever meet and my cat really likes to be "Queen of the house" so the cat might not like the dog...at all >.>

14. What are they doing right now? Well sleeping...and resting..and more sleeping so yeah those things X3

15. Any nick names for them? Well my dog can go by just Jen and my cat can go by Rosie.

For me personally as a big supporter of the military and the U.S armed forces and just being a general Big lover of history that I am with a small WW2 military background in my family this day always has been an important area of study for me and I have come to learn so much about what exactly occurred there and the major sacrifices made by so many that really saved the lives of not only many more solders to follow but it helped to start to chain reaction that really began the important decline of Nazism in Western Europe and started to spell the end of the 3rd Reich.

So like I said for me this is a very important day and being that it is the 70th anniversary I felt it would be an important thing to post a journal that honers those who fought and died in Normandy and to all WW2 vets who are left out there I really do salute you!

On the ROAL!...Well at least in crinkle form X3

Yes this is my newest awesome icon done by the ever amazing  wen who is both awesome and amazing as well!

A very special day when we have the chance to reflect back on those who have served, fought and died in defense of the nation and Honor them as they truly deserve to be honored for making the decision to serve and to those who had givin the ultimate sacrifice.

So yes it is momroral day here in the US once more and I must say it is one of my fave holidays as I am always a BIG supporter of our armed forces and this is it a day to celebrate all the men and women who have served in the military both past and present.

Today is also a great day for events such as BBQ'S and in my case one of the largest Antiques and craft flea markets in the midwest and a slew of other great things that just make this day such a special day and I can say I have been having a great one myself so far! ^^

So I hope that you all have a very special memorial day yourselves and just in general have a great day overall and for those who have served I truly do salute you!

Hey all you guys, I really do hope that you are having one heck of a Friday!

Just wanted to say that first this is going to count as a little mini-update for now and later on this weekend I will be posting a MAJORLY needed update journal (ot two) for all you guys that will really explain everything that has been happening, which all have been awesome btw <3

So for now though I just figured I would let all of you guys know that I am now officially done with my High school experience and I officially become a Graduate of my High School at 7:00 PM tomorrow night!!!

Needless to say I am SUPER excited to be actually graduating and moving on to the next big thing but for me it really has been an awesome experience and this past year is no exception as to be honest it probably was arguably my BEST year of high school yet! :D That being said I really don't have to much to complain about going into tomorrow night as I really have never experience anything like this personally but I have witnessed this many time so I wont be at a complete loss as to what to do!

Still with all that being siad I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart thank you to all the people who has supported me over the seemingly short few years I have been here on FA and all of you guys really have made me feel so welcome and have been so friendly that I just can't think of a reason not to love each and every one of you who has stuck with me and were willing to take the time to look at my art or page and either watch or just left a favorite it means so much to me and I could never have done it without all my waters and the artiest that I was able to get all of my great artwork from so again from the bottom of my heart, thank you *Hugs all of you*

So yes, it is that time of year again for the Easter Bunny to deliver all of his precious eggs filled with all kinds of special goodness that always are great!

Ok I know I am a LITTLE late on posting this journal but again been one crazy busy day for me and technically it is still St. Patrick day for me as I type this where I am at so this counts X3

Still I will say for me (for some reason) this holiday has always stood out to me excluding all major holidays like Christmas but really a holiday like this always has been special to me maybe because my ancestors hail from the Ireland, England, Scotland area so it just comes natural for me I guess you could say heh ;p

Anyway I just kinda did a mini road trip for a day or so up to Charleston Illinois to look at another collage that I could possibly go to and this time the school was Eastern Illinois University and it is a very nice school to say the least.

I also have family in town so it would be very convenient for me if I do decide to go there but for now I am still undecided on where to go to collage, but it never hurts to look at all your options.

Yep, I have made it back to Missouri safe and sound!

So I will say it was nice to have a relaxing Colorado getaway weekend and get one free day off school and to me it was very informative as I went out to look at Colorado State University in Fort collins and all of there dorms and facilities for engineering (Which I want to study) and I just love the campus and everything about that school so it was great for me.
