Interested in a story group RPG?
Posted 7 years agoYesterday I was checkng an old RPG I played on a German Anime/Mange forum and thought it might be fun to do so again.
Basically everyone participating takes on one or more roles (not your fursonas, new characters) and then we take turns on writing posts, continuing the story. Can be more than one conversations, for example two characters can do their own thing, while 3 others are posting together and so on (if you get what I mean). The whole thing would be in text form like in a novel. Basically like this:
[Character name]: [Text. For example: It was a beautiful day and Mark was havin a nice walk... and so on]
Story idea would be the same as in the RPG I was reading yesterday:
Takes play in our world. Aside from normal humans, there are also those, who can at will transform into an animal. Some people see them as normal, others as monsters that need to get eliminated.
The shapeshifters are either living as 'Loners' in normal human cities or are organized in 'tribes', often small towns themselves, lead by an 'Alpha'.
The story would focus on an antagonistic tribe, who hate humans and see them as enemies that need to be killed before they can kill all shapeshifters and on a peacefull tribe, trying to keep the other one at bay.
The shapeshifters tranform into normal animals, not into anthropomorphic beings (though this may be changed in the story). They are faster and stronger as normal humans and have higher stamina and vitality, however they also tend more to listen to their instincts. A predator shapeshifter would be more likely to get violent and enjoys fighting, while a bird shapeshifter may be more freedom loving for example.
Also, it would NOT be a sex RPG! Of course, your characters can have sex, but I wouldnt want this to be the main focus!
Most probably I'd use discord for this.

Life update: Cutting organs, keeping tarantulas and more
Posted 7 years agoSo, life slowly turns to the better.
11th June I started my new job in a histology lab. Part of my main job cutting all sorts of organs so that our pathologists can see certain areas once the tissue is dehydrated, embedded in paraffin, cut into 3µm thin slices and then stained.
I also do a lot of this staining and paraffine cutting, which really takes a lot of practice to get good slices.
My trial period is almost over, no full 2 months left and the deputy head of the company said she is satisfied with my work and happy I joined, she even wants me to do some sort of picture for our companies website.
On the 28th one of our scientists will do a mushroom field trip with whoever wants to join. 7th December we will have a Christmas party and my collegues told my our boss alway prepares a surprise excursion before inviting to a star restaurant. Im not used to such generous bosses :'D
So yeah, a lot to do at work but its fun and time flies by, so I can't complain.
I have good relationships with my coworkers. A lot of nerds...yay! I will even start a Dungeons and Dragons party with some of the (one of them our Human Resources Manager :'D)
Aside from the job situations...by now I got a decent collection of tarantulas, 2 geckos, a scorpion and a Giant African snail. (will get 2 more snails since they shouldnt be kept alone). There was a terrarium fair in a town nearby and I spent a bit too much money...
... which means I have to try to draw faster so I can take more and more commissions. :'D

Posted 7 years agoI caught an Articuno on Pokémon Go!

Well I actually did, but this isn't the good part of this journal.
So, this wednesday I had a job interview and got called the same to to come over for a trial day today.
And as it turned out, they were enthusiastic about me and I already got the work contract to sign at home and I will start the coming monday!!!!!
And then, when I got home, I had my package from Poland arrived with my new spiderlings. Sadly it looks like one of them arrived dead but I am having a look at it for at least 1-2 days to make sure its not molting by any chance.
At least the other two are healthy and lively and I can't say the online shop did anything wrong since they were packaged wonderfully. It sucks for that one
tarantula but it might have simply been bad luck. :/
On top of dead a good buddy of mine invited me to dinner to celebrate my new job. :)
All in all aside from the one dead tarantula it has been such a wonderful day!

Does anyone maybe still need a EF con ticket? I paid 95€ for it, which is the discount price you get if you apply early.
As it currently looks like I might have to sell it since I wont be able to save up the money for the hotel.
I still have my reg and all but wanted to check if I would even find someone who would get it.

And holy cow, thank you very much you guys!
I think 50 thousand pageviews and 3 thousand watchers are quite some nice milestones. :)
Normally I'd do a raffle to celebrate this.
But sadly I am currently unemplyed and cant commission a piece to celebrate this. Also I need
the time with which I could draw one myself for commissions and streams to make a bit of money
to buy myself some food.
However, when things get better financially I shall do a litte thingy to celebrate it,
so look forward to it. :)

So, I started to think about to prepare some merchandise for the EF this year to sell it there.
what I had in mind to get so far is:
- business cards (cause you know...gotta let people have to possibility to reach me after the con)
- post cards (maybe a few different motives
- possibly pins
- possibly stickers
- possibly shoulder bags (which I would sell BEFORE EF and bring them to the con then)
- maybe self made slime
what do you guys think about this?

If it all works out we can make a small art trade per month (and if you're in the group you dont have to make this every month, only when you want^^). I will pull random numbers of who will draw something for someone, like for a Secret Santa^^
So to make it simple: even when you are in the group, it's a CAN, not a MUST.
If you want to join you can let me know during the first week of the month.
But first I'd like to have some members before starting.
So this journal will be for the purpose for those in the group to see the visual references of every member at one place (and if he/she is okay with NSFW, too), so nobody has to search for it.

I just got a idea and that is: an art-trade telegram group
How would it work?
- I would create a telegram group. Fellow artists who are interested could poke me tojoin with following informatios: telegram name, a link to their ref, NSFW ok or only SFW? and if NSFW what stuff would be a no-go
- I will create a journal with every members information except the telegram name
- around one time per month we make an art trade
- with this you get a randomly chosen member who you will draw something for (what you draw and the quality is up to you, or maybe with a special theme) so basically like a secret santa
- the one who gets the pic wont know who will draw for him/her until it is revealed with the pic
- wont have to draw something every month, we could use the first week of the month to wait for those to poke me who wants to draw something each month

I uploaded the newest page yesterday and thank you for already so many faves and new watches.^^
Today I sketched all the remaining pages up till the last panel and I hope I can be quicker for now on, especially
since I cant wait to show you the end.^^
Which is actually quite hard, since I have to focus more on regular commissions since they bring in money
that I need to pay bill.
So if you wanna help me conclude this comic quicker and maybe even support me in case I will make an other
comic after this, please concider giving me a tip.
It would mean a lot to me especialy since it would show me that people really enjoy the comic.^^
