Taking the plunge
Posted 13 years agoSo... At the last minute, I've registered officially for Elliot's Spring Gathering nest weekend.
I'm quite nervous, as I've never attended this type of con before. I've worked quite a few anime cons as staff, so I'm kinda using this as research into how other cons work.
My plan is to try and get there early enough Saturday morning and see what goes down until I have to go to work that night, then come back Sunday all day as I requested it off just for this.
Gods help me. ^^;

I remember catching this on a website before and instantly fell in love with it. Usually, centaurs are depicted as Greek or some other nationality, but this had them with a Native American motif. A first for me.
Sure, typical stereotypes are present, but the post-apocalyptic setting was a nice fit, and just ... I love it all. :)
