Well, I recently watched a podcast from Adam Sessler's soapbox, which I love cause I think he's actually an intelligent gamer =3, and it made me think about gaming nowadays...specifically downloadable games
The biggest thing that scares me is if we really own the games we download so easily. My PS3 broke down again and now the $100+ worth of games I have downloaded are in limbo! It made me hug the plastic case disc games I had.
I know Steam has made everyone's life easier (for those with gamer PCs >,> which I don't have) but really, do you own the games? What if the servers broke down? What if some one hacks your account? What real way do you own the game?
I'm definitely an old gamer, single player games interest me more cause I already deal with peoples crap in RL. I use games to escape, not being called a fag from some closet, angry 12 year old on Ritalin =P Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid is more my cup of tea than Call of Duty or Halo. (Don't want to change the subject, just saying I'm a lone wolf gamer X3)
It beckons back to my SNES and N64...I used to have the Legend of Zelda: Majoro's Mask but I sold it. I saw it was available to buy via download the Virtual Console but...there something about the golden cartridge that wonderful game came in that really got to me...this sounds weird but I love blowing on the cartridge, tapping it, and jamming it in my N64...something human I guess. I'm gonna buy the cartridge on Ebay and slap on my N64 X3
God I sound old 83 but yeah...I hope all this internet gaming goes ok for the industry. I know we won't have games like Xenogears and Ocarina of Time anymore...even Final Fantasy is changing rapidly. No towns and the battle system is feverishly fast. Well maybe when we're down with our twitchy fingered modern games, I wonder what will replace it.....Interactive cooking X3

Posted 15 years agoFirst of all, please, religious furs, pray and send donations for all the people in Chile. There are many people suffering there and they need all the support and help they need. Non religious furs please send your best wishes and support ^^ I believe donations to Red Cross and National Reserve would help.
It's been a little over a month since I became a member to FA and it's been one of the most exciting, amazing, and interesting months in my life. I've met so many amazing furs that it's all overwhelming...I still remember shyly asking Scrub and Thunder to be my first friends XD
Since I've been on here, I am more open and friendly to other people. My terrible shyness seems to be slowing lifting off me. I have finally been able to express my wolfy to others without rejection and with kindness. It's made me a brighter person.
Being apart of a furry family has also changed my life. I've had online friends before, but I have noticed that furries are passionate people who love and care deeply for there friends and brothers. It's been an honor being a bro to so many wonderful furs.
To be honest, I observed FA for about a year before mingling with furs and chatting. Most of my friends know of my shyness and humbleness but I'm so happy I took the step forward. It has made me such a more outgoing person.
It's odd...when I was a teen, I thought I was the only person in the world who felt like there was a wolf in me...it's astounding to stumble upon so many people with a wide variety of animals in them.
Of course, the biggest surprise I've had was finding a lover and soulmate online...I never thought online relationships where serious and I don't believe in love at first sight. Me and Ku...we spent days of chatting and sharing pains into the night. We slowly began loving each other companies but...there was something different...I felt a personal connection him unlike any other.
The only negative thing I can think of is it's been so much to deal with. I've never been had these many friends and people who love me. It has taken up my studies and responsibilities. I'll have to do a better job of scheduling and planning my internet time. Compared to all the pros and love I've found, it was a little thing to sacrifice.
To end this long journal, I just want to say it has been the most amazing month I've had in my life...I can only imagine how many friends and activities I'll be involved with after a year on here...I'm really happy I found you furries and am glad you greeted and loved a new wolf. We can only imagine how strong our relationships will grow from here. You guys have your claws really sunk in me and I don't think they are ever coming off...and I couldn't be happier. ^^

It's been a little over a month since I became a member to FA and it's been one of the most exciting, amazing, and interesting months in my life. I've met so many amazing furs that it's all overwhelming...I still remember shyly asking Scrub and Thunder to be my first friends XD
Since I've been on here, I am more open and friendly to other people. My terrible shyness seems to be slowing lifting off me. I have finally been able to express my wolfy to others without rejection and with kindness. It's made me a brighter person.
Being apart of a furry family has also changed my life. I've had online friends before, but I have noticed that furries are passionate people who love and care deeply for there friends and brothers. It's been an honor being a bro to so many wonderful furs.
To be honest, I observed FA for about a year before mingling with furs and chatting. Most of my friends know of my shyness and humbleness but I'm so happy I took the step forward. It has made me such a more outgoing person.
It's odd...when I was a teen, I thought I was the only person in the world who felt like there was a wolf in me...it's astounding to stumble upon so many people with a wide variety of animals in them.
Of course, the biggest surprise I've had was finding a lover and soulmate online...I never thought online relationships where serious and I don't believe in love at first sight. Me and Ku...we spent days of chatting and sharing pains into the night. We slowly began loving each other companies but...there was something different...I felt a personal connection him unlike any other.
The only negative thing I can think of is it's been so much to deal with. I've never been had these many friends and people who love me. Bleh...I think of stories for Vince but they usually are rip-offs of scenes from Trigun (I <3 Vash ^^) and Cowboy Bepop. Posted 15 years agoAll right...I'm going to take a song request from a lucky fur! The reason being is most the song I've done so far have been...classical and relaxing. I'm asking for a chunky, powerful song!
Let me remind everyone that I'm a RYTHMN/MELODIC guitarist, NOT a solo/lead guitarist! I can't do Jimi Hendrix solos ok. When I say powerful I'm thinking Silverchair and Smashing Pumpkins...not Dragonforce or some Metal band that has 256th note in their song. I'm looking for complex, powerful songs, not face melting solos ok :/ Also, remember I work by myself and don't have a recording program (I record with my fricken phone TwT) I only have an acoustic guitar, electric guitar with amp, and an electric piano. No song that requires a full orchestra ok!
Now that your expectations have been substantially lowered, please leave a request either in the comment box or pm me. Any recording tips would be greatly appreciated as I would love to mix my piano and guitars together :) I'll pick the request by how well I'm aquainted with the song and if multiple furs ask for it.
Oh and if you put either Stairway or Freebird on there I'll personally spam you to death!! A song that hasn't been covered by a billion people please!!!

Posted 15 years agoHey guys, hope everyones doing ok! I just had a couple of questions for you furry buds wouldn't mind answering a noob wolf ^^ Don't worry, nothing too personal XP
1. How did you choose your avatar? Was it something that came to you naturally or was it spontaneous? I've noticed a lot of furs choose wolves. Is it because of the wildness and nobelness of a wolf? For me, I always had this wolf character. Just something that's stuck in my head like fly paper XD
2. What's the best way to chat and do homework? I've just gotten into chatting with a bunch of new furs but it's been hard to concentrate on homework too. Any pro tips from chatters on how to balance? O.o
3. What's a nice way of telling a close buddy not to dump drama on you. I know that a lot of drama occurs on FA (it's like the Young and the Restless except with vore fetishes X3) but I'm talking bout a physical buddy. My bud loves to play b-ball and drink together and party but he is a serious drama llama! He muses about his family, religion, politics, work, girls (lack of), and the performance of Albert Pujols! I feel if I cut him short, I'm really gonna hurt him but it's a lot of mental and emotional energy to just hang with him! What's the best way to say chill?

Posted 15 years agoWow, I've been so busy chatting on FA, practicing and submitting music on here, doing homework, and whining in my journals (seriously, that last one was dreadful for the poor souls who read it! Please apply mind soap from that XD) that I've neglected my poor PS3! It was staring at me like a poor neglected puppy. XP
So I popped on Uncharted 2 and went to multiplayer and got PWNED! (one dude on a mic was wondering if I stole my 34 ranking >=3) I put on CoD 5 and that was slightly better but still about a 3:1 death kill ratio. So I went to safe old LittleBigPlanet where I couldn't suck. XP I also noticed that a boat load of games are coming out!! White Knight Chronicles is already here, Bioshock 2, Alien V Predator, and Hard Rain are stomping there way here and FF13 and God of War 3 are just a month away!! (side note: I will barely be on here when those latter two come out XD)
I'm putting up one more song but after that, you gotta be patient for like one song every 4-7 days k furry buds? School is starting to get pretty demanding now. But I'd like to take some requests after I'm done with my Chrono Cross session. Mind you I'll put I another Smiths song soon afterwords, don't worry I know some by heart, just holding them for musical stock so I won't take a month praticing for each song!

Posted 15 years agoI just want to thank all the furs who took the time to read my mountain of text yesterday and where so supportive. I was expecting a few sorries from 2 friends and few "get over it" messages. The response was wonderful and uplifting. Guys who knew me for only two weeks or even one day sent me messages full of love, understanding, and even sharing your own pains and losses. The best friends are the ones who go into the dark hole your in and comfort you even though it is uncomfortable. Thank you all my friends for your support, it's not an easy thing to carry a burden with someone but you guys ran up to me and held me up without a moments notice. You have my eternal gratitude, love and friendship for comforting me in one of the most painful times in my life.
A Life ended too soon
Posted 15 years agoThis isn't going to be easy for me....ok here I go.
I've only told this to select few people on here... my wonderful brother was murdered recently. I'm not much into bleeding my heart on the virtual world cause you usually end up with a couple of nice messages and a lot of shitty comments not caring whatsoever. That's what I expect, you don't see the guy that soul gets crushed by your comment. Out of site, out of mind. Also, I didn't want to burden people with my grief, so I've kept a positive attitude, scratch that, a goofy attitude to deal with it. But it's not a ruse, I have a very friendly attitude, love to goof around and am sensitive to others feelings, more than my own sometimes. I just wanted to talk to people about the thing I've been secretly in love with. Cartoon animals, funny anthro comics and interested in people putting on a wolf suit lol! Damn it's hard to write this done. I've been fooling myself to thinking that I could replace my brother's abscense with a friendly furry buddy, that's just cruel and unfair to do to my new friends. I don't know if deciding to be a furry during such a stressful time is clynically a good thing but it felt like I was going to explode if I didn't. Couple that with my semester going into full swing, and not wanting my family to find out about my 'choice' because they are already in enough shock from my brother's murder and I feel like I'm falling in a black hole. I decided to be myself because the brother who was taken from me always lived his life without bars. Never afraid to talk to anyone from a different walk of life, a different religion or no religion, loving everyone. Oh jeez, my chest is starting to hurt. I don't know why my brother had to be taken like the way he was. He didn't have one hateful bone in his body. I loved him so much. He looked out for me and proteced me when I was little but I wasn't even there when he was killed. I know he's with God now. I just can't fathom a person who would take a life. I don't want to know. To my friends on here, please don't treat me any different. I don't mind a kind, reassuring word but don't treat me like a puffball, I still love joking around and talking about games and cartoons. I just needed to share my loss. I'll post up the poem by Henry Longfellow, 'A Psalm of Life' later today cause it perfectly describes my dear brother. Thank you to my friends for being kind to a new, shy wolf and I hope this doesn't change your outlook on me. Hugs to everyone and live your life everyday without regret and always have love and peace as your guiding principles.

Posted 15 years agoBefore I say anything, I'd like to thank the amazingly helpful PDF and videos from gilsky. Without his free helpful advice, I'd never be able to even open up my PS3. Toss him a donation on his Paypal, he gives a lot if free advice without any gimmicky book or some crap. He deserves it!
As some may have known, my PS3 had been dead for a while by the yellow light of death. I called the Sony support and they told me that I'd née to pay $130 and shipping for them to look at t and that I might not even get it back; they could send me a refurbishd one!! (kudos to Microsoft for not pulling that shit...but they're still basterds for charging online =P) I went online and found some helpful PS3 owners who went through this and they advices me on what stuff to get like a heat gun! Well, yesterday I opened up my PS3, hands shaking, took her apart piece by agonizing piece and blew my heat gun on the motherboard and applied new thermal compound. Hours later of putting back together (which was 10X more difficult) I was on my paws and knees and I covered my eyes when I hit the power button......NO YELLOW LIGHT!! Morale of the story: Don't let the company screw you, there's a lot of godsends online who are more than willing to help you (crazy I know) and don't ask for any money!! Oh and heat guns can fix anything!! (flat tires, doing your taxes, shutting your brother up) X3

The Sweet Sounds of Final Fantasy 13
Posted 16 years agoSome music comes along and really grabs a hold not only to your ears but unto your very soul. Well this wolfie is definitely experiancing a tug on my soul from the soundtrack of the highly anticipated game, Final Fantasy 13. I've been hyped about this game since the first trailers came out, but the music that's been leaked on Youtube has my expectations at bliss! The battle music was the first track I heard from the game and it completely blew me away! Allow me to diverge into the song for a moment. *ahem* right away you hear a choir of frantic violins playing at a hectic, rythmnic pace. A deep brass fills the air with depth and power, the energetic chords of a electric guitar speeds the tempo of the song while the chorus of violins increase the vibrato of there playing. The song climaxes to a lead violin feverishly weeping along with the bombastic chorus, the dynamic tone of the song reaching epic perfection. *gasps for air* sorry but that's the passion I felt from the music you hear form fighting a grunt!! If you have the time, please listen to this wonderful soundtrack, even if you can't stand Final Fantasy, RPGs, or games for that matter. This is the type of music that is a masterpiece to it's own ;regardless of what accompanies it! I'd compare this soundtrack to a Smashing Pumpkins or Stevie Wonders CD, that's how compassionate I feel about it! Congradulations to Masashi Hamaizau on creating a masterpiece in the eyes of this seasoned wolf musician >=3
Accepting Yourself
Posted 16 years agoI still getting used to accepting I'm a furry. Feels scary but I'm tired of lying to myself about who I am. I'm amazed at how gay people or furs have the courage to stand in front of their loved ones reveal what they are despite the possible harrowing consequences. From what I've seen from the furry community, you guys are very kind and compassionate toward others. With support and comfort from people with the smae feelings as me, I might have the same courage as other furs.
