I got back from Gdakon and... it was freakin amazing ^-^
Had tons of fun, met amazing furs and generally felt great! I wanted to thank every single person there for a good time. The only thing I regret is that I wasn't able to spend more time with all the furs there ^^' Hope to do that next year!

And now I'm having a proper PCD :D !

I'm still here! (Kinda-sorta-mostly ^^')

Hey everyone!!!

I haven't written a journal in some time, nor did any proper activity so... think it's the best time to do so.

For the past 2-3 months I've been seriously inactive on FA. As I mentioned before in the previous journal – got myself a job thing. It does kinda consume a lot of my time and really disorganizes a lot of stuff ^^'. Lately it did get a bit more stable and I managed how to utilize my time more efficiently, but still... It kinda sucks and I haven't done much lately.

I generally wanted to apologize you all for that – for my usual slow-butt responses to notes and comments, slow-butt progress on art and other stuff. I will try my best to catch up with everything in the near future. If I don't – kick me in my lazy butt ( o 3 o )

Puff! Got back from the furcon on Sunday and... just needed some time to “zone out” and digest what happened during that long weekend.

Just wanted to thank every single person who attended Gdakon – I had an AMAZING time and so much fun! I hope You all enjoyed it as I did. It was awesome to see old friends again and meet new furs Wish I could spend more time with every one of ya ^^'

Puff! W sobotę skończył się Gdakon i... potrzebowałem trochę czasu na „ogarnięcie” się i przetrawienie tego, co wydarzyło się podczas tego długiego weekendu.

Jeszcze raz chciałem wszystkim którzy byli na konwencie straszliwie podziękować – bawiłem się NIESAMOWICIE dobrze! Mam nadzieję, że Wy również spędziliście ten czas równie pozytywnie. Hey everyone!

As you probably guessed by the title – commission spree!!!
Now, I know a lot of you's did ask me about commissions thru notes and such. Sadly at the moment I am a bit time pressed and would rather avoid going thru the mess that my notes are (yes, i'm a horrible note hoarder ^^' ). I will get back to those commission notes at a time less restrained as for now...

Attention: Please read the following info. I know it's boring and such, but hopefully thanks to it we can avoid confusion and save some time and questions. Thanks in advance

What will I draw?
The usual stuff. You know my gallery and You know what I dabble in.
A few examples of what I can doodle:
- Character sketches
- Rubber / Latex pics
- Transformation
- Bondage
- Avatars / Headshots
- and so forth...

There are of course some things I won't draw. No disrespect to those things – they just aren't my cup of tea and I avoid drawing them. Working on something that does make me uneasy usually lowers the quality of the work... and that's just rubbish of me D: !

The picture will be a cleaned up pencil sketch / line art of the usual quality (with some additional shading here and there). It will include one character, with one slot per person.

How to boop-a-slot?
If You're interested then please send me an FA note. Titling it like “Commission” or such would be mighty helpful.

I will also need three things from you's:
1) the e-mail where I will send the ready sketch. The e-mail from me will be properly titled and I will leave a note on FA for You indicating that I sent something.

2) Reference picture – as always super-mighty-helpful. If you don't have one, then proceed to point 3...

3) I would kindly ask You for a description of the idea You'd like to doodle. A wee hint for You – I know that You probably will have a well visualized idea of what You'd like in your heads – and that's just great! Sadly I do not have a direct access to your higher brain functions ^^' That means I will need to ask you to describe the whole idea in detail. Please write everything, starting from details like:
- should the picture be adult or clean
- what should be the characters mood / expression
- the pose of a character – you can send me example pictures, they work great!
- what the character should wear
- what is the progression of transformation and such
- everything that for you personally is a very important factor which is vital to the whole picture

At the same time I would ask to try and make the descreption more or less “clear” to read.
In case a gap of info is left... don't be surprised if I improvise ^^'

The price and payment
Yes... the tricky question. Sadly due to the time pressure I would prefer to avoid situations like “will pay later” or “once I get some cash”. No offense there – I totally understand how it is to be left without proper fluid funds. But like I said – time is on my bum, so I'd rather do is zip-zap-quick.

Form of pay – paypal as usual :3 – will beep ya where and what individually.

As for the price... I prefer to discuss such things on a personal level, but for more info purpose...

Most, if not all of You's out there probably noticed that I haven't been too active in terms of online “life” on FA. And I think I owe you all some explanations and apologies.

For the last few months I have been... in a pretty strange place in life. I (almost) finished university, yet not looking for a job (yet). Apart from that I've been going thru a lot of different “mood” states and such, all related to this limbo state that I find myself in. But I don't want to bore any of You with banter about myself.

I just wanted to apologize You all. For not focusing that much on art, for not replying to comments on time, for being generally a lazy bum.

It doesn't mean I don't care about all of You out there. You are all wonderful, and I read and appreciate every single comment, shout and watch to bits. Just during the last few months I didn't found enough... “motivation” to gather myself up for proper response.

So once again my apologies to all of You for being generally lazy bum and unproductive schmuck.
If You're angry / annoyed with me – You have all the right in the world to feel that way.

I will do my best to slowly reply and catch up with all the stuff. So if You suddenly notice a reply to a comment or watch you gave AGES ago – that's just me making my best to let You know that I appreciate it.

As for the future plans... dunno – I sense a lot of mess ahead, but will just deal with it as it goes XD
As for art... will probably do a small post-stravaganza of some old sketches and works.

C'mon, gimme a shot - will try to answer as correctly as possible

Hello there everyone!

Today I would like to talk about... animated movies. Heck, let's face it folks – animated movies kinda are a bit part of our life (depending on the tastes and likes of course). They are kinda a big part of our pop-culture (and culture in fact). Just look at huge companies like Disney (who basically is childhood inc. ), Pixar, Dreamworks... Adults and kids alike are their targets, and usually (usually...) when they release a movie – BANG! Huge blockbuster! People crowd the cinemas, mass hysteria and chaos!

But to be fair and with all the respect to those compan... sorry, studios – they aren't the only ones around. Well... they aren't the only ones around to a bigger degree than a few years / decades ago, if ya know what I mean. Animated movies are created OUTSIDE those biggies and... in my opionon some pretty good and overlooked ones. Now, of course this means Japanese animation, which is a category of it's own, but... that's kinda the point.

So I plan to list some of my most faved NON Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks animated movies. Let it be...

AGENT'S TOP 5 FAVED NON DISNEY/PIXAR/DREAMWORKS ANIMATED MOVIES!!!

1.Every single Don Bluth movie (except maybe Anastasia, Titan A.E., Rock-a-doodle and... well, almost every single Don Bluth movie).

Those of You who know me enough to have heard my rants about animation know that I freakin love Don Bluth movies. Mostly Secret of NIMH, Land Before Time, All Dogs go to Heaven. In some way this might be cheating the list, seeing as Don Bluth was at disney for a short bit. And it's kinda easy to guess on which movies he worked back them – Robin Hood, Rescuers, Fox and Hound (the guy had a knack for animal animation, aye?). But then he went solo, and started doing his own works.
Soooo... why do I love those movies so much? Well, the animation – once again in my humble opinion, is one of the best western classic animation around. Plus it's just something about his movies... this kind of “Kids can deal with serious s***” thing.
Whatever it is – I love his stuff. Loved it then, love it now

2.Last Unicorn
Some of you might know this little movie. It was made by Rankin/Bass studio (SHUSH!) and actually had some animation work done by Topcraft, who would later by hired by none other than... Hayao Miyazaki to form the Studio Ghibli. Dang...
So... why do I love this movie so much? Well, apart from the lovely western / anime like animation and a quite fancy voice cast (including the ever Christopher “Dracula / Saruman” Lee) the movie has a really nostalgic / melancholic vibe to it. I don't want to spoil the movie for ya, but... there's just something wonderfully depressing about it – the kind of “I wanna feel sad!” thing. So thumbs up for it in my book!

3.Help! I'm a fish!
This has to be one of my top fave animated movies in general. A Danish animated movie from way back 2000, this was for me one of the biggest surprises back then. When I saw the billboards and posters when it was hitting the cinemas – meh... Same for the TV ads. One time it was on the TV, a few years later so I said “yeah, let's give it a shot”. Man, did I felt stupid later. I found the movie charming, clever and a bit dark at moments. All with wonderful animation style, which... how to to say it – is a bit different from the well known disney style. Apart from that – Severus Snapes and one of the Monty Python squad do the voices in the English version. Neat :3
Also worth mentioning is that this movie in my opinion is a fine example of how different culture / point of view may influence and show itself in the art style. The movie is definitely very... European looking. And definitely one of my all time fave's.

4.Animalympics
Holly Jumpin Gingerbread Bisquits! How could I miss this one in my childhood (WELL... mostly cause of... politics... and... stuff... *cough cough*). I found out this one watching a review of it. Found it... interesting. Then I watched the full thing and I was freakin AMAZED! Maybe I'm missing something, but why isn't this one of the keen essential furry movies? The animation, though may not seem so at first, is very, very pleasing. Considering that the tiny animation crew that made this after departing worked on movies like the Lion King, well... let's say that if You watch the movie You can see certain similarities and familiar art styles (I'm still convinced that Don Bluth or his animator was in the crew!). Apart from that general creativity, wonderful old-style music and... Seriously! Anthro-Animal Olympics!!! Why am I even explaining this XD? For me – a must-see-it movie :3

5.Cats Don't Dance
Almost forgot to mention this one on the list XD. Though not my all time fave, I think it is a really nice movie. Mostly cause... well, I have a thing for portraying early Hollywood industry in a comical way (Moving Pictures much?). The story is cliché, true. The characters are cliché, true. But... I dunno, for me there's just something in this movie that I find it hard not to like. Plus, again – anthro animals living side-by-side with humans. Gotta love that thing XD


So, that was the top 5 (in some cases top-and-some-movies-that-i-kinda-remembered) list. Maybe it would change a bit in some places if I thought enough, but this is how it looks at the moment. Also i did avoid anime movies for the point mentioned before - they kinda work in their own cathegory for this and... i might do a separate one for them in the future X3

Of course this was based on a personal taste list, so if You like them – awesome! If You don't like them – awesome too, respect for that!
