Oh come on, does anybody really look at it and hate it soooo much they wanna bitchfit? I couldn't ever imagine getting that upset about a TV show. I've never seen the show, but some of the sound clips are really funny, and the non-plussed expressions on the banner are hilarious.

A lot of drama for no reason...

Just got back from seeing an advanced screening of Transformers: Dark of the Moon with a friend, and I must say I was pretty darn impressed.

To sum it up, I felt like it was District 9 merged with Cloverfield, smashed on top of Battle L.A. It was the most action packed alien movie I have seen in a Long Time.

Visually, the movie was beyond amazing. Probably the best spectacle I have ever seen. The movie obviously had a massive budget, and it showed in every scene. All the battles were crisp and exciting and gasp inducing. Even the non-action scenes were fabulous to look at. One scene with a beautiful car and a curvy woman comes to mind. The 3D was awesome throughout too. I feel like it was a step above previous stuff I've seen. Even in scenes without a lot of action, things were popping out and really immersive.

Possibly the thing I liked best about the visuals was how swept in I became. The decepticons really really looked like alien invaders in this movie. Their ships and other equipment gave me chills, and when it came down you really felt it. Plus, a lot of the battle takes place in Chicago, and let me tell you, they tore the place up. The street shots of their sets of destroyed Chicago were amazing. Plus the views of the skyscrapers after the fighting was a sight to see.

A few other things... I have always had a terrible recurring nightmare about being in a skyscraper that was... let's say... not so structurally sound. This movie has a scene that did my dream justice. It scared me half to death, and every second of it was amazing.

Also, I felt they did a pretty good job of incorporating the humans into the conflict. In the other movies I didn't feel the humans really did anything other than provide a backdrop for big robot battles. Here, they seemed a little more involved.

Finally, I'm not saying this was the greatest movie ever or anything. The story was admittedly better than the other movies, but it was still pretty simple. This movie still is and was always intended to be a gigantic summer action blockbuster. And in that effort, it succeeded. On the netflix rating scale, I really liked it!

Well, I said I would continue to post journals, but I didn't expect the next topic I thought I should talk about would be a sad one.

Me and  Zeig broke up this weekend. Almost 3 years together, 2.5 living together. We both have our own reasons for it, and it's something we both think we need to do. That doesn't make it any easier though... We're both terribly sad about it. I keep thinking back to all of the happy and wonderful and touching times we've had together, and it makes me cry. I'm so lucky and thankful to have  tidalwolf and  shinokorosha, they've both been amazingly helpful in these last few days, making me feel better and comforting me and keeping my mind off of being sad.

Probably even more amazingly, they're willing to let me move in with them for the time being until I figure out what I'm going to do. I can't thank them enough. I hope everyone else has friends like these.

Hey everyone. I figured it was about time I started writing journals, and going to a con seemed like a good place to start. I'll try to post more journals going forward, so wish me luck!

I'm going to megaplex this weekend. This will be my second Con ever - I went to megaplex last year. Living in Jacksonville, the con was in our city last year, so I didn't get a hotel and only went for one day. I was a little unsure what ot expect, but I had a good deal of fun. However, at that point I didn't know any other furries except my mate, so I felt a little bit like an outsider looking in.

However, this year I think will be way more exciting and memorable. First of all, megaplex is back in Orlando, so we'll be staying in orlando for the weekend. That should make it feel more like a special event rather than just something I drive across town for. I also say we, because in addition to my mate  zeig, I'll be driving down and rooming with  TidalWolf and his mate  Shinokorosha, so it should be a blast! We'll be at the con Saturday and Sunday and looking to hang out with other like minded furries.

In case you're looking to find me, I'll be mostly hanging out with my roomies above, but you should be able to recognize me by my badge and bag. I'll have both of my badges from Etuix and Shino, as well as my custom art bag from Inuki (which I love so much!). So if you want to come up and say hi feel free, I like making new friends, and love cuddles!
