Of course, this might also be a total dud. That's what happens when you mess around with the unknown.

Alright, here's the news. I went to the Game Maker website and looked around. After some talking with some of the developers there, one of them has asked me to help them work on their game's world. So now I'm writing video games. This could be pretty darn awesome if it works out. Now granted, I'm starting really small, but doesn't everyone?

I'll try to keep you posted on what all is going on with this as well as I can, although since the material isn't technically something I can throw on FA, it might be better to watch from my website. Maybe, I don't know yet. This is all pretty darn new at this point. At least it's worth mentioning yes?

Well I've returned from my trip to Little Rock. I had a great time while I was out there. Sure the hotel I stayed at was sub par all in all, but everything else about the trip was stellar. The zoo was particularly awesome in my opinion.

Plus while I was down there I made some significant progress of my current writing project. If I keep up a normal rate from now on, I should have it done ahead of my personal schedual. That means you get to read it a lot sooner than I anticipated. Not a bad deal eh?

However, there might be one snag in this perfect world. I just got notified I get to participate in the Final Fantasy XIV Beta. If you know how I was with Final Fantasy XI, this is about the biggest news for me since discovering that I like MMOs. I might get well distracted by this and end up being late. Hopefully not, but we'll see. Also need to try and not let it suck me right out of every social activity I ever do, which isn't many at all. This will be a good test to see if I've improved any since the old days of FFXI. I hope I see you again soon, otherwise, kick me hard please.

Alright! I get to go on a vacation/trip! It starts right after I finish this post, then eat lunch, and then load up my car. I'm going to Little Rock to explore, get some new inspiration hopefully, and meet someone down there. It should be an exciting, awesome, and expensive weekend. Can't wait. Hurray!

In other news, I'm aout half way done with this new short story series I'm working on. Today I'll actually start working on the sex scene. Yes, that's right, I'm writing a sex scene. Who knows, maybe I'll even do a good job on it too.

Its stil an untitled project because I can't settle on a good name for it. Also I still need to talk to  kiguren about an icon for it too. I guess I'm still lazy. In the meantime while I get that finished, edited, and everything else, I've pulled my old Records of Ezayla story line out and I'll be posting it as well. Right now I just don't see myself going back to it for a while. I might later on though, who knows.

I write a lot. You might not always see it, but I do. Usually. Except for the times when I lie to you, but that doesn’t happen often.

Anyway, today I did something crazy. I wrote early in the morning and got some stuff done on my up coming story series. Then before I went in to work I did even more writing on the series. Hurray, I used the write skill, and it was super effective today!

So wandering around on my gallery, and then in my computer I've discovered an interesting fact. I posted my Records of Ezayla story series up to chapter six here on FA. I've actually got all the way to chapter ten finished. While I don't plan on working on that project for a while, I may post up the chapters as filler while I'm working on a series to throw up here.

Its strange though, I thought I posted everything up on here for that. Oh well.

I finished the first chapter of my current project. That's not really exciting honestly, nor is the fact I nearly finished editing it. What's a little more exciting is that I've lost the edited file. Its just plain gone. Not on my laptop where I do most of my writing, and not on my main PC. That doesn't happen very often, but darn when it does it just ruins your day you know?

Anyway, general update for you all. I'm working on a short series right now to post up here. For quite a while I had no idea where I would end it, because the story could go on for ages. I might pick it back up later on, but we'll see I suppose. What that means is that now I have a goal to work towards, which makes working towards it so much easier. Ever try finishing something that seems to just get bigger every time you work on it? It can be a bit demoralizing sometimes. Anyway, off to go type for a while.

Yay for nine hour shifts without lunch breaks and no time to stop for a breather. I worked like... Well, I don't know what I worked like, but I worked way too much. Shoot still have a lot to do tomorrow when I get in. Oh well.

What this means is that what I had hoped to be finished with today and post for everyone, isn't done. So what I'll do is put this up This upcoming Saturday. In the mean time I'm going to look into comissioning a story icon for this, so it will be easier to see when I update the story. On top of that, I'll be able to edit it up a little better, which should make it a more enjoyable read.

I'll try to work a little harder this week though. I've got a bit more vision where I'm going with this story, and other projects. I might even start up the old Records of Ezayla project that's been collecting dust for a little too long.

Alright, so I was hoping to have my rough draft for this week's submission finished. That didn't happen sadly. I went to a job interview, and then got called into work early. Actually work called before the interview... It was almost like they knew I was up to something. Weird how that works huh?

Anyway, I've got tomorrow off anyway, so maybe I can do a little double duty and finish the story and then do a little editing on the thing too. Who knows just how far I'll go. Might even start a second story on the side actually. One of my bosses at work gave me a spark of an idea today I'm interested in exploring.

Alright, I'll keep this brief or so, because I know most people have shorter attention spans than I do. Darn being a little OCD or something, I don't know. Plus I like to watch myself write, look I'm doing it again! Anyway...

As many of you know I've been working on a novel the past several years. I got it done, I forget exactly when. Then I set to the task of re-writing it. I started the thing from scratch, all 140,000 words. Took another year to re-write the thing. At this moment, I'm shelving that novel to work on later.

Now don't get shocked or angry at me alright? I know what I'm doing, sorta. I know that I don't have the skill yet to finish the editing of that book. I will have that skill in the future. What I need to do is write like insane, and practice. Practice and learn a great deal too. Thats part of the reason for the changes here on my FA page lately. Several things went into scraps, and I've actually been trying to be using this darn thing.

The latest story I've posted is an experiment. I'm working with some formating and text files and stuff to see if I can get it all set up right. Hopefully the story will be easy to read and everything. You can find out here: (Not posted yet)

Anyway, I'm going to go play Guild Wars now, its been a long day.

Alright, so I was going to post up a new short story today. Of course that was before this server change thing decided to last all day. I'll upload the story tomorrow most likely. It's pretty cool, and I had a good time with the magic in this one.

Anyway, on a side note, Inception is a pretty cool movie. A bit of a mind game, but definately a fun watch. Thats what I did today, went to watch a movie when I should have been writing. Shame on me. :P

... and get down to business. For whoever actually has been watching me, you're about to see some changes around here. First off scraps, a whole ton of stuff is going into scraps. Second off, there will be more stuff submited. Most of it won't make sense by itself I'm willing to guess, and those things will go into scraps as well. I plan on posting short stories in different stages of work. As one stage gets done, the older stage will either go into scraps or get deleted completely, I don't know yet.

Needless to say, I'm going to beat this crazy corner of mine here. It'll be interesting I dare say.

A friend of mine, Noddy, has decided to do some comissions. But wait, it gets better, we're looking at $1.50, and THAT is a darn good deal. That's the price of a drink from a soft drink vendor here, and you're getting a piece of lined artwork. Who in their right mind could pass that up? Seriously?

So here's one of the things I'm thinking about doing. You and I, yes whoever is reading this thing, let's get into contact and see about doing a dual deal. I'll pay half, you pay half, and we'll both show up in the picture or something like that. Maybe you've got a great idea that I like so much I'll pay half of it anyway. Now do the math, that's 75c! You can't even get a drink for that almost anywhere in the US.

I've got my new computer and got everything up and runing once again. Thank goodness, wish it was sooner, but this will have to do. The only major work that I'm doing on here is Records of Ezayla, which I've had some time to think about while the computer was down.

My current idea is that I'm going to try and work with someone to get Records of Ezayla set up as a web comic. A great deal of the story could actually be told from a visual context I think. Of course getting my volunteer artist to actually get into and stay in gear might be a challenge. It looks promising though. So we'll see how that goes.

I have issues. My computer apears to be dead. That's not very good, but at least I was already sort of planing on getting a new machine. I won't go into details because no one reads this stuff, nor cares.

However, I do appologize for the delay in Records of Ezayla. I'll get back to posting again here in the near future I hope. Assumeing that when I get all the pieces for my computer that I can get them all to work together. Hurray.

Alright, it's one week before I kick this series off. I know basically no one reads these journals or anything else that I do, but it's the principal of the matter darn it all. I'm actually really excited despite it all. I've worked hard on this series, and I certainly hope it does well. Since this is also the first time I've ever really done anything like this, it's all unknown to me. Won't stop me, I'm charging forward no matter what, even if it means the death of me!

On a side note, happy "Single Awareness Day"... Yeah thats about all the enthusiasm I have for it. I'm avaliable if that matters, but whatever I guess. Celebrating Valentine's by one's self just fails to have the meaning. I hate that.

In the semi near future, you should expect one or two story series from me. Hopefully updated weekly, as long as I can keep myself modivated. These stories are pretty cool in my opinion, so I'm looking forward to sharing them with everyone!

Isn't it a strange thing when your characters in your book tell you what to write? I've come to understand a lot of other writers out there have this happen to them quite often. However, I've not ever had the issue where one of the important characters comes up and tells me that he's going to develop a mental breakdown because of what they did. I kinda feel sorry for the poor guy, but if thats what he wants, then by golly, that's what he gets.

On a side note, life's been pretty good for those that haven't seen me in a long time.

Ha, the only ones that read this already know that though. Kinda silly to even bother with this journal thing, but whatever. Its the principle of the matter.

The last short story that I did for fun came from one of  VampirePrincess007's pictures. She's recently posted a new one. I can even sort of see this new picture as continueing the previous short story in a very strange way. The question is, do ya'll think it'd be worth it? I can't chase every story thats novel length in my head.

Isn't that last comment terrible? I see one picture, just one random picture done by another artist. Then before I know it, its turned into a whole darn novel length story. Shoot, that last one might even be three books long. I have too much inspiration, and not enough time to get it all finished sanely.

After tomorrow, I'll be on my first vacation in four years. Its been waiting far far too long, so thank goodness its finally here. I'll be visiting my grand parents for a few days right off the bat. That means, for a while you won't be able to find me, probably. Bonus points if you do. Anyway, then I'll see my littlest brother, who could probably use a visit I suspect. After that I plan on returning here. On Saturday, I'll be going to a casino, because I've never done that before. I figure I'll burn a lot of dollars just to go have a new sort of fun. I doubt I'll do a casino again in years. After that I have a few days of just relaxing and taking it easy.

I've finally talked to my boss about my writing. I told her to cut my hours out from full time back to part time so I can focus a lot more on my book. Be it a bad idea, or a step toward my better future, I've made my choice. I'm a writer and I'm sticking to it people. I've got half a book to rewrite, and then things get interesting. I'll have it read by a couple people, and then I'll make some basic editing after that. Then its to the Collosium of Publishers where my poor book can fight to the death against other similar books for the favor of that almighty publisher.

In other news, I hate my job sometimes. So much politics, so much blame, and its all so needless. I don't understand sometimes, but other times it makes sense. Its been a nice way to learn more about human nature though, very instructive.

I think thats all I'll do for this journal. Stay tuned for next time, where I'll spoon feed a platapus chocolate icecream... Well, ok maybe not, but it might be just as bizzare.

Mr. James Patterson was in town today and gave a nice speach about writing, himself, his books, and a whole lot of other stuff. It was definately a fun event to go to. Not only that, I now have in my possession a signed copy of "Alex Cross's Trail". I'll have to read it, as terrible as it is, I've never read any of his works. However, I can appreciate what he's gone through to get to the level he's at now. The funny thing is that it sounds like I do a lot of things like he used to do. Granted I don't do a lot of what he does now, but tha might eventually come later. Who knows?

Did you know:
He had to send his first book to 31 publishers before someone agreed to publish it?
He writes nearly every day of the year, 360 days.
He write every manuscript long hand. Thats a TON of hand written stuff for all the manuscripts for... I think 40+ books.
Each book starts as a simple outline and grows from there.
He currently has 27 manuscripts that are works in progress.
He actively works on 7-8 books at a time.

There was a whole bunch of other stuff too. I wish everyone that I know could have been there. My mother gave me the $50 ticket to see him as a christmas present, and it was one of the coolest presents I got this year. I don't even know what the others are, but this definately ranks in the top three. The worst part... I took notes. MHA HA HA!
