I am planning an art fundraiser for this Saturday at 1pm EST. I would love to raise $500 - $1000 or more for them, but anything helps. I've already donated $100 myself. I will be selling portrait sketches both furry and human/ffxiv characters for donations of $25+. Obviously I'll take on a queue and as I work through them I'll take on more, but any donations are appreciated.

This has been extremely difficult. Leon was amazing. They were my friend's ring bearer at her wedding just back in Jan. Leon was a talented artist their self. I brought into my old work a bunch of my old art books and their mother took a bunch of them home to Leon and they were super excited to get them. It breaks my heart this happened but they are at peace now.

So, I hope you can join me this weekend and celebrate their life with me as I draw and do something they loved so much as well.

Hey everyone! I have big news!

Beginning March 7th, I'll be a full-time artist and streamer!!!

It's been nearly 10 years since I started my journey doing art comms online and hoping to do art full-time, and I've finally taken the leap. With the support and encouragement from my amazing husband, my friends and all of YOU, I feel I can finally put the corporate world behind me and finally do what I love full-time. :)

This is a huge step for me. I went through a lot of abuse at the hands of my narc father growing up. He wrecked my self-confidence so despite the support from you all over all of these years, I never felt the confidence in myself yet to step away from a "secure" day job. (Not to mention needing healthcare through a job in the U.S.) I feel like i'm in a much healthier place now. I've been doing a lot of self-healing and thanks to my husband, my dog, and friends I am feeling much better. <3

Also, my streaming schedule will pick up significantly! Any NSFW will be on my picarto (https://picarto.tv/AhroArtStream), but everything else (including my free headshot sketch night on Wednesdays at 8pm) will continue on my twitch (http://twitch.tv/ahrosart).

I will also be updating my patreon (http://patreon.com/ahrosart). Starting March 1st, there will be a new Gold tier ($200) that guarantees a full-body colored commission each month you're active. You can also save the one character comm and roll it to another month to turn it into a 2 full-body character commission. Hello everyone! It's the end of 2020 and what a year it has been. I hope you're celebrating its exit in a safe and friendly environment, social distanced as can be. Let's hope that 2021 brings about better things for us all both in health and wellness.

Reflecting on my year, it has been a ride. I work at a print shop that services the local hospitals so we were considered essential. Many of my coworkers did quarantine for their safety which left me holding the department together by myself for 5 months. It was a really stressful time. Unfortunately, it made working on art when I got home that much more stressful so I was slower in getting through commissions than I would have liked. :( Patreon took up much of my time then.

I did, however, start a Twitch channel in January where I do headshot sketches of people's FFXIV characters for a few hours twice a week. I've been doing that since and it has grown far larger than I ever anticipated. I've been loving it and it has been helping me improve my human art along side my furry art. :) Many furries do join the streams as well and I have drawn quite a few furry characters during these streams, so you can get your char drawn even if you do not play FFXIV. <3 Aside from those I of course stream commission work as well as some game streams. :) I do giveaways too and am steadily offering more things so do stop by sometime and enjoy some fun chill art streams or games! http://twitch.tv/ahrosart

That's pretty much been my 2020. I've tried to push all the negative stuff behind me as much as I can. Focusing forward on where to go from here. I'm grateful for the love and support of my soon to be husband, Kataru, and for our growing family. <3 Now if we can just get our cat, Beau, and Vanya to play nice. lol (He always wants to play with Beau, and Beau is not having it. lol)

I hope you all have had a great holiday season so far! Thank you all again for continuing to support me! I'm working hard on becoming a full-time artist so I can provide more art than I presently can. It's been a long time dream and I feel like it's right around the corner. <3
