I recently changed to FireFox and it's just not very good for multiple users (Chrome has the users able to be pinned to my desktop and didn't stack the windows so I didn't forget to open it, Idk what it is abt FF but I always forget abt my users now)

ANYWAYS, I recently got a part time job which means my hours are now super random and only updated weekly, so I no longer have a dedicated day to opening comms nor checking DMs (I also get called in a lot so I can't even know for sure if I am off on days BDSBBDS). I am back to updating my Trello frequently enough, however!

Because of new job, I am now focusing primarily on adopts for new income and will only open new commissions if necessary. I will now be focused on making adopts at the start of the week and then working on owed works at the end of the week~

Likely come September when a good chunk of employees go back to school my hours will uptick which means if I make enough working, my schedule will be only focused on backlog.

Thank you for your patience so far and apologies again for spotty activity, esp while I was trying to settle back into balancing both irl job and online one.

Hi I've had issues w a health concern since Dec and was unable to draw as much due to the pain from sitting or even walking, it's less impactful now and all tho. I've been in and out of a walk in clinic, had an ultra sound, and was told I should be fine so here's hoping

Unfortunately, we can't control the heat in my apartment and it's been blazing hot for me for weeks (better than Dec when we had no heat for a week?) and the dry air is taking me out, my lips have been split for like 2 weeks. I must have caught something at the clinic cuz I have a cold and can barely do anything without immediate fatigue. I've been laying down past 2 days popping relief pills and vitamin C stuff.

Anyways I wanted to apologise for going MIA, it's been hard to keep track of everything with all that's going on (there's more but I'll leave it at the health issues smh)

Heyo i've been informed last minute yet again that plans have changed and i'll be at my family's for Monday, as well. This means I'll be opening commissions on Tuesday and will also be completing them same-day in stream.

Yo so monday is thanks giving for Canada and as a result, I will be at my family's house for the weekend. It's likely I will need to postpone comms for Sunday and take them Monday instead, assuming we won't be there Monday too. [they like to not give me any rundown lmao]

SOOO our final big move date to get everything into the new place is this Sunday, so I'll either have to take comms late Sunday or it'll be moved to Monday!

Sooo our landlady decided to be stingy and use technicalities to not refund us July's rent. We move out in August and we paid first and last here, so the last month [july cuz lease ends august 1st] we normally don't pay. But she said our month - to - month ends September since thats when we "technically" move out, even tho she wanted us out asap. She agreed to let us move out end of august if necessary because it was hard to find a place, but now she's using it to just like.. not give us the $$ back i guess. even tho she said she was going to give us $$ to help w moving on such short notice

anyways, ive lost all my emergency money and all my bill money and i still owe because of this, since i had to pay first and last for the new place too. if i get hit w bills anyways i am like, screwed so. i finally got out of the negatives w my bank just last week, too... ive been stuck in it for years cuz my irl job at the time was stingy as hell w hours.

as a result, i will be raising prices again. my funds for new glasses is all gone, too. my funds for dentist appointment cuz my teeth have cavities that hurt is gone.

i dont know, i dont wanna make a sob story or sound complainy either. i never feel right tying my commission work into unfortunate irl situations but ig it is what it is.

on the plus side ill be opening ref sheets as soon as i update prices. i will most likely implement the new prices for next sunday.

anyways, landlady is kicking us out, we gotta be out by end of August cuz her and her fam got kicked out their current place. she doesn't wanna force us out and is even willing to monetarily compensate us so it's not too bad, but w covid obvs it's fucking impossible to find a place. and since its july, most places are only looking for single people or students in student housing. our city is really small, too, and we have pets.

we have a viewing tomorrow but i personally can't go, gonn be streaming so, but the gist is that at best we'll find a new place but it'll be more expensive, at worst, we literally need to buy a house out of town and bus into town to get food [we dont have a car].

so with that said, if i do end up needing to pay more i will need to be raising prices;;

altho it's not all too bad, i'm planning on adding a new shading type..! since the prices of everything else will go up, i wanted a quicker option to take the place of the lowest priced shading option. that way i still have something on the lower end but it's quicker for me to execute which means i can still take more comms to make up the difference in new rent, if that makes sense

i'll also be looking to add a new simple background option for free, it'll just be a shape and like a pattern or gradient, or both. nothing crazy. just something to add a pop.

this shading style isn't new for me but it's new for me to offer, some older examples of it are here!

i'll also look at adding a simple ref sheet option (back, front, close up of face, palette, name and info, pawpads if necessary). not sure how i am going to price it yet and im still not 100% confident in drawing a lot of varied body types, but still practicing in my own time and looking for opportunities to work w them!!

hello hello, I've gone and adjusted some prices of my commissions on here, feel free to check em out!

Most of the adjustments were just in the additional character options, since less than half the og price for an entire character isn't going to be too fair.

Thanks everyone for their understanding tho! I might be able to raise my additional character limit if this works out for me, cuz it means i don't need more single pieces to fit my bill quota! Very excited!

Due to workplace drama induced circumstances, the final week I had at work next week is now gone 0-)!

I hadn't made an update here yet, but last week I submitted my two weeks at my workplace, and obviously my boss was not happy to hear I decided to take art seriously as a potential job, and after testing it for months I decided to try taking it on full time.

Anyways, this means from now on my schedule is set. I open commissions every Sunday, I stream commissions on Tuesday and Thursday, and you can catch my personal art for my ask-blog on Saturdays, all on my twitch!
