I’m thankful for all of you.
This community is one of those rare places online where being yourself isn’t just tolerated—it’s welcomed. We all come from different backgrounds and different paths, and yet somehow we still find each other here. That’s something special.

A Toast to the End of an Era
General | Posted 5 months agoThis morning (2025-07-07) SoFurry went offline at 6:01AM EDT (10:01 UTC) so they could start the migration to SoFurry Next. I don't know how long the site will be down but it will be missed. It's my understanding there was still work to be done on the new site and due to circumstances beyond their control had to migrate months before they planned.
A toast to SoFurry version 2.
Raise your glasses, friends—virtual or otherwise.
To this little corner of the internet, where strangers became friends, jokes became memories, and silence was often filled with late-night confessions and mid-day laughter.
We came here seeking conversation, connection, maybe even distraction—but we found a community.
Together, we shared our highs and lows, typed out pieces of our hearts, and built something that no algorithm ever truly could: a space that felt like home.
And though the servers may shut down and the screen may go dark, what we shared here doesn’t end—it lives on in the stories we remember, the usernames we won’t forget, and the people who mattered.
So here’s to the good times, the weird times, the real moments behind the screen.
