i HIGHLY recommend going. i had an amazing experience and my group became family <3 i recommend going through hillel if you can, since they have their shit together and really pulled off an amazing experience that encouraged us to want to learn more on our own, but also ask questions and find our own identities
(ignore the stupid email, its the one from when i was 12 :P accidentally used it to sign up on my application)

Posted 10 years agohey guys, i'm home from Israel! it's so beautiful and colorful, and the trip in general was amazing. the group i traveled with became family, and i learned a lot about my heritage. i got sick right around the last day though, so i'm still sick x.x but at least i have a week to recover. i miss everyone so much though x.x

Posted 10 years agoi'm so excited! but also nervous, but it should be amazing! I'll be there for 10 days leaving wednesday night and arriving on friday. Not sure howmuch i'll be on skype, but hopefully i'll be able to sign on for a bit. i'll be taking pics :D
Note to Israeli furs: i will have free time in Tel Aviv on possibly the 25th, and i think the 3rd of January, and in Jerusalem the 2nd of January at the Ben Yahuda Pedestrian mall. i'll still need to be with a few people from my group, but i'll have like an hour to an hour and a half to hangout :D

also next summer, i'm thinking of planning a short tour for my noise project if i can get others on board and looking for venues to play at, preferable house venues, would anyone be willing to either let me play a show somewhere in your house or let me crash at your house for a night? :D
ALSO! i'm leaving for israel december 24th for my birthright trip! gonna be an absolute BLAST and i seriously cannot wait <3 i'll be sure to take lots of pics :D

fatalfox400 needs someone to move in with them and a few others in Lorain, Ohio or he risks going homeless. He has 5 days to pay the rent since his roommates refuse to pay rent and are moving out on the first. might be going to Israel in December or January :D + notice
Posted 10 years agoI'm applying for the Birthright Israel trip! Birthright Israel is an organization that gifts young Jewish adults with a free 10 day trip to Israel! I'll be the first in my immediate family to go if i get picked! I'm hopeful! This will be such an amazing experience if I go, and I'm hoping it will give me a greater appreciation of my culture and heritage, along with my religion; even though I'm not a religious person.
ALSO a note relating to this because of a shitstorm that went down the last few days:
Anti-zionism will NOT be tolerated by me. if you have a problem with any of this, I don't care. Posted 10 years agoso i realized, but a huge pet peeve of mine is when people call anything with electronic music a rave. i've always had the idea that raves were underground parties in warehouses and things, am i just being a prude? .-.
