this is in regards to my massive refund queue AND to people i still owe commissions to!
i will be eliminating my entire refund queue and anything else debt wise that this friday evening and saturday. i recently came into some good luck and ill be able to take care of everything that i need to when it comes to money so im just worrying about whats on my art queue (those people who would still wish to remain on my art queue!)
if youre on my refund trello or youre waiting for art, PLEASE reach out to me and let me know what youd like!! And if youd like a refund, please provide your email so I can send it to the right place!

Refunds and Planned Art (Sept 13th - 16th)
General | Posted 7 years agoI will not be diverting from my weekly to-do lists when it comes to refunds and what pieces Im getting done!! Please keep this in mind!
Please try to reach out to me to request a date set-up for a refund before going to paypal to forcibly take the money from me. It messes up my goals and plans and essentially leaves me to work twice as hard so I can meet my goals.

the past week has been pretty miserable, not able to do much work, cooped up in a small room in the middle of nowhere, manipulated and all that. i was getting homesick pretty fast and i just could not focus on anything else but wanting to be back home.
but im back now and getting into some work. ill be getting headshots finished and get a couple references finished. now that im actually able to breathe again.
thank you all for being oatient with me while i was out of town and helping my grandparents. it really means a lot to me!

so its been a couple of days! My grandpa ended up in the hospital last week to have a large portion of his colon removed. My mom asked for me to fly out to take care of him since she wasnt able to and my grandma...isnt really the most reliable person. We made the plans on monday evening and I flew out first thing wednesday morning. Things have been so hectic since the start of the week which prevented me from getting on FA or working on things!
I was origninally staying with my grandma, who is two hours away from my grandpas hospital and that really wasnt settling well with me because I wanted to be with him as much as possible. So I traveled to the city and my mother got me a hotel close by and Ill be spending most of my days in my grandpas room until he can leave the hospital, which should be sunday so thats good news!!
Im out here until the 7th but since Im settled now I can actually work!! which makes me happy because not working was stressing me out x .x like, i was able to work on these lil headshot cheebs little by little the past couple days but since i moved to the city i have way more sitting time and can work as much as possible!
I was able to finished a great deal of cheeb headshots, which is the reason for the mass upload warning! I wanted to make sure I didnt get behind on them, especially since it was my goal to have the first lot finished either monday or tuesday but with the sudden need to fly out to missouri it kind of put a halt in my work.
Ill also be working on getting my refund trello ready to begin issuing refunds asap. I brought everything I could out with me, everything that has all client info and all that, so I shouldnt be in too much of a bind!
If youre waiting on a refund or youd like one, expect to see a note from me in the near future!!

I still need to respond to some notes, I replied to some a little earlier but I still have a few more I need to go through!!
Tomorrow I have a procedure to finally have this IUD removed and Im hoping everything will go okay because if not...the next step is surgery and I really dont want that lmao
Ive developed more symptoms and Im incredibly sick and tired and in pain and Im SO READY to have this done and over with.
Ive been trying to keep up as much as I can and reply to people when I can!! I promise you Im not ignoring you!
BUT, please note me and reach out to me if you still need/want to!!
I need to go through and revise my work schedule and calendar and Im going to need to wait until after my procedure tomorrow so I can have a clear head!
Without being sick and not having roadblocks in my way Im really hoping I can work a lot faster and more efficiently!
Im thinking my goals right now are that refunds are going to be my absolute number one focus. Ive got these cheeb headshots that Im doing and Ill continue to do them daily and chip away at my goals. People seem to like them a bit so! Ill do those to raise the money for refunds and also work on something I owe a day.
For Pride YCHs, youre welcome to a refund if youd like! I need to transfer the files to my ipad in order to continue working on them because working on a computer is too difficult for me! With my back pain and sciatica and what have you!

I used the payments from the last round to pay off some hospital bills and grab my meds, then got animal food! I have one more hefty hospital bill to pay before the deadline later this month and I want to get it out of the way so I dont have to worry!! And then I can strictly handle refunds!! Im judging that I can start paying off refunds real quickly in a few days when I take this round and then the next round and get back on top of things!

My MIA status the last couple days...
General | Posted 7 years agoHey guys, I just wanted to explain my MIA status the last couple days as I get back into the grind of things here.
I do have a bunch of pre-sketches done for this batch of commissions and I’m working on them now...but the reason for my lack of drive was due to a couple of things.
I was pretty ready to go and do things until I got a note from the person who wrote the beware on me and explained why they did it. And my understanding side was like ‘cool, that’s fair’ but the other side of me was extremely hurt by the confession and it really impacted my drive to want to do anything because I kept thinking about it all day and night and when I kept trying to go back to drawing. What it felt like to me, was why try my hardest if someone is still going to end up writing a beware on me even after Ive finished something for them and tell people to stay away from me? After we had a civil conversation and made an agreement?
It hurt, from the bottom of my heart. It really hurt.
That mixed in with some deep personal issues that have been going on ever since Tuesday evening has really dragged me down to my lowest again and I was feeling similar to what I was going through three years ago. Like, there was no point, yaknow?
Ive been in pain and sick and still trying to do my best despite all this. And really, its all I can do. Is my best
I’m sorry if I disappoint or upset you and I assure you that’s never my intention. I know there are a lot of things I could be doing better but in the situation that I’m in, I can only do so much.
The only help I can really ask for is to please just let me continue to try doing my best. Writing a beware on me after you’ve received artwork and there was a civil conversation had between the both of us before-hand is not going to do what you think its going to do. It’s not going to serve as the ‘kick-in-the-ass’ that I need. It will just do the opposite. Besides being a detriment to my mental-wellbeing, it will really hang up my progress on trying to make things right with people.
Not having a flow of income or work, due to you telling people to avoid me, is not going to help me out or make things better. It’s going to make that recovery time even longer since I will have to struggle even more to get work in. And as someone who’s trying my hardest to right my wrongs, its unfair.
The takeaway from this journal, is if you write a beware on me on a closed group of facebook, please don’t come to me and tell me what you did. ESPECIALLY after we’ve both agreed on how to fix something and I do fix it.
I felt like I needed to get that off my chest in order to move forward because its seriously been weighing me down and second-guessing the work Ive been doing on trying to fix things and its really affected me in a horribly negative way.
I’m going to get back to work here
And I’m also going to close comments on this journal...because its not meant as a pity journal or anything like that. Just an explanation on what was going on and what was going through my mind.

Ive tried to keep my workload at the most minimum amount that I could muster but I have no choice.
With people getting impatient with me and owing money to both refunds and other financial obligations, I cant only be taking in the bare minimum to make people happy because its NOT making people happy.

Artist Bewares: Facebook [reupload]
General | Posted 7 years agoSo, its been brought to my attention that there are 'a shit ton of bewares' popping up on facebook about me.
I have no desire to enter these closed groups to see whats being said about me but I do desire to know who it is to take proper action and try to fix things. People are talking about me behind a secret wall rather than being open about it on the more common un-hidden livejournal artist beware site.
A lot of times, these people have messaged me once and then leave it at that. I have no way to know who these people are since theyre being secretive about it all. Like for instance, I have one person who keeps ignoring my response comments and hasnt read my note asking what theyd like to do, yet Ive gotten messages from paypal saying theyre trying to file claims with them (which doesnt work because theyre outside their buyers protection).
With that being said, this is all I can say:
I can only work as fast as I can work. With this being my only source of income I HAVE to take on new work in order to give refunds or to pay bills.
I KNOW I made mistakes a couple years ago but overcoming these mistakes and trying to fix them isnt going to be an overnight fix. I can only do so much.
I tried offering smaller options for donations in order to avoid taking on more work than I have to. Ive tried getting loans in order to pay people back and in a perfect world Id have been able to get this loan and everyone would be taken care of. Its the only thing I desire.
I dont want to keep owing all this work. I dont want to have a huge list of people waiting on money for me.
But you have to understand I can only work so fast and I need to take on more work in order to eliminate this huge backlog.
Im not dodging anyone. I havent moved accounts to avoid any of this. I havent made a new paypal to avoid claims. Im still here and Im still working. I make journals/updates daily/weekly to let people know whats going on. Its not like there are months between my owed work submissions and updates and all that. or telling people im moving constantly and cant work or even give excuse after excuse as to why I cant work. I try to do what I can despite my health and despite what Im going through.
I have noticed a decline in people willing to get work from me which hurts my heart because I dont think people actually understand how much that affects me being able to get money back to them. If I cant get work in, I cant make the money to pay people back.
Ive tried everything that I can, even trying to get loans in order to pay back the >2,000$ I owe people. But Im in a really bad financial situation BECAUSE I owe all this money and Im just basically in a hole I cant get myself out of.
Im pretty sad this morning and hate waking up to news like this.
I guess the I have no other option but to take on a huge load of work in order to get this money back to people who are getting really impatient with me..I tried avoiding this by opening a gofundme and donations and offering smaller pieces because I can afford to take on a massive amount of work...but at this point I have no choice..

I want to explain why I dont normally respond to comments I get on artwork or journals. I am a super shy person when it comes to communication!! And dont know how to properly express my gratitude!!

Lil update! + Trello Queue Update!

So, I ended up having to do another ultrasound for a 'just in case' reasoning. Needed to make sure the iud hasnt migrated or perforated things it shouldnt have.
BUT EVERYTHING IS GOOD
I worked on what I could after the fact and also updated and cleaned up my trello!

Its nice and simple and easy to navigate now. There was just way too much earlier and it was confusing people and the clutter was stressing me out!!

I’m pretty much done with doctors appointments for now!! Until Tuesday when I go to my chiropractor!
No updates with my Mirena, except that Ive been in off and on pain since my visit on Wednesday ugh Only really happens when I’m moving or walking around a lot x .x
IN OTHER NEWS, I saw a plastic surgeon today within my network (a kaiser surgeon) and in all of a 5 minute visit, we made plans to have my implants removed!!!
He was genuinely pretty awesome. He didn’t argue with me and when I explained my findings, he seemed to understand and was even aware of those immune response some women have to the silicone of current implants. I mentioned that my original surgery was a reconstructive augmentation which means that my insurance will cover it!!! AND I AM SO EXCITED AND HAPPY!! I just have to wait for the scheduler to call me tomorrow and well set up a date!!
(After the surgery, Ill be out of commission for about a week)
BUT I’m really really happy to get on the road to recovery!!
SO THATS WHAT IVE GOT SO FAR!!
Now that I’m done with basically spending my life at the doctors this past week I can get back to full speed on work!!

I finally got home x .x my appointment was at 1040 am so its...been a long day to say the least 😅
I have this IUD, Mirena, in me. A contraceptive placed in your uterus.
At the er visit, they discharged me because they said that it was appropriately placed and everything is a-ok!!! (which confused me because they had to put me on morphine to alleviate my pain and they sent me home with alleve??)
Anyhow, I had the appointment with my gyn today and she confirmed she saw the report but wasnt able to view the ultrasounds (two different hospitals, the er wasnt a kaiser building)
She tried to find my strings, no luck.
So she said, lets so an ultrasound removal (because i told her to get it tf out). Anti-Cramp shot given and then local anesthesia applied, they went digging around. LEMME TELL YA!!! that local anesthesia did NOT help omg. horrible.
AND GUESS WHAT THEY COULDNT FIND IT!!!!
which is super concerning.
Normally youre supposed to just be able to pull the strings and out it comes. But my mirena was no where to be found.
I have to have a hysteroscopy in order to have it found and removed (which i hope will be successful because then where tf could it be). But thats not going to happen until the 23rd of August. Im in SO MUCH PAIN, so these next three weeks will be fun funFUNFUNFUN (not really).
Thankfully, my gyn was generous and understood that I have a high pain tolerance so for me to be showing im in this much pain. So she sent me home with prescription tylenol and some percocet (thank goD).
TL;DR
IM HOME NOW but Im in incredible pain so im going to give it a few and let this percocet set in and then ill get to work!!!

I originally thought that it was just going to be a quick pull-out (giggity) but Im a special case apparently and so I need special treatment x .x
i intend to still work today!! just mentioning on why there might be a little delay in work! ^^
