First off, yes, finally, I am going this year.

Third note: I will be attending the artist alley this year, and will be far more prepared than I was back in 11'. Hopefully it'll all get better.

I'll wish the rest of you a happy V-Day, but it's just another day for me. And you all know me.

Sadly, about a week or so ago, someone in my squadron had taken his own life for an unknown reason. Throughout that week I hadn't been able to make any of the squadron formations or talks about it - I was in class for combatives and was leaving my duty area at around 6 or so.

Then it finally hit me - a name was said, and I froze. I'm not one for names, but when you give me a face to match - I'll remember you in a heartbeat.

The long weekend passed, and I hadn't gone out much being bedridden with a weekend flu, but I had planned on attending his memorial service on that following Tuesday. I planned to pay my respects.

Then, upon walking through the Chapel door, I received quite the shock when I was given a pamphlet in regards to contacting the family..

The man who had died was a man I knew as a friend.

The entire service I could hardly do more than try not to bawl my eyes out. A man I had bullshit the weekends with occasionally, given rides to, talked to in passing and gave shit to and joked with was now gone - nothing more than a helmet and a pair of boots now at the alter. It was a tragedy - and he will be forever missed.

It really hurts.. I've never had a close friend die before - and this was the first time it had actually affected me personally. All I can say now, though, is that I'll remember the good times, cherish the memories, and remember him for the professional soldier he was. His soul rests in piece, and so does my mind, knowing that we all cared for him more than anybody would ever know.

Live on brother. You helped our lives more than you'll know.

And to all you folks with loved ones! Once again, another year single... :| I can't wait to chalk up next year too.

Lets see... to resum up the past few months!

-I got a new car
-I lost my art... shit.... motivation, HARDCORELIKE...
-I got promoted! \o.o/
-STILL SINGLE! :B (Nothing new there!)
-I turn 21 on November 17th! @~@

So up and besides me being a ghost for the longest time, trollin' and a fappin' and a lurkin' - Work has been ok, good, shit, and mix the past while. To put it straight at first, I -did- get promoted the past few weeks, meaning I was able to get my hands on a good bit of a change in pay, which, in turn turned instantly into a..-

Brand fucking new car. Few of you knew of my old clunker, a shitty 97' Nissan Altiblagh with the upside of 190,000 billion fucking miles on it. Well, one weekend there was something called a mechanic drivin' around with me and he told me to pull over after telling him my ArPeeEmEmEmEms were low. He takes one sniff around under the hood and tells me. 'Son, I am dissapoint'. Translates into: 'The Piston is blown, the Transmission is going, and I smell smoke.'

Instantly, we went car-shopping. To my giddy degree, alot of negotiation at various dealers, and bullshitting with everyone who exsisted, I ended up with a 2012 Honda Fit... and let me tell you... <3

Hoho, love the thing, and I love it like the girlfriend I've never had! :B But you all know this - I tend to bring it up quite often. x'3

Along the art lines, I just... ever since my old Wacom Intuos died, I just... gave up really. I got my hands on my old Bamboo, but it just wouldn't link up with half my programs, and the work area just kept glitching on my split screen display. I tossed it in the can and said fuck it. I doodle here and there, but...

ANYWAYS, OUTTA MY SLUMP! I turn 21 next month! Whoooo~! <3 Novemememember 17th to you all who actually, maybe, or don't care~! :D

As for the thumb update - cast is off, I can type and write, but it's still sensitive as hell and I gave is a good jab today while cleaning weapons. Opened the wound again, so it's back in a bandage, but hopefully not for long. All's well and there were no infections... even if it does look flat as fuck if you look at it from the side...

BUT ANYWAYS! IN leiu of my absence in art, I need those whom I still owe commissions to to note me, please, as I have lost the few scratches of paper that say who's who and what I need to do.. Roxy and Neon, and Aziz - I still have yours, you were top of my list. The winner of the free comm from me will take top priority, because I owed him it, and... I'm pretty sure that was it... like I said though, if I forgot please spark my memory with a note - thank you~! <3

Sliced the tip of my thumb off. Ya, long story. I have the fucking thing in a cast, and worse yet - daily shit just gets fucking harder. It's painful to touch, use, or even keep in its cast. FFFFFFF....

Apologies in advance to everyone I still owe art to from RCFM... I'll try my hardest to finish them, but if I can't even pick up a pen...

And so do the good memories. I've met wonderful people, laughed hArd and long, embarrassed myself, sold some good old traditional works of art, had people sketch for me without me really knowing, and.. Just had a blast...

There is no doubt I'll be coming again next year... And I'll love every second of wait! <3
