Hey everyone! I realize I forgot to let yall know I was away for the past 8 days. I was away in Alaska and had no service. I am currently in Vacouver travelling back to Ontario! I was suppose to have basic internet but could not get it to load Furaffinity so I wasnt able to post a journal like I intended when I initially got there so I do apologize for that!

I had a really nice break and a good reset, I was getting really bad artist block and having a hard time enjoying my work but I found myself wanting to sketch during my trip and was doodling so I think thats a fair sign im ready to get back into the swing of things!

Hey yall, I want to learn how to use blender to create 3D backgrounds but I have no idea where to start. I can't even figure out how to make my canvas/camera a specific size. I'm totally useless lmao.
I tried looking up some tutorials online and I have a difficult time learning without one on one tutoring, either the tutorial is far too advanced or its teaching me how to create my own object from scratch. Its been difficult to find tutorials that a specific to what I am looking to do. I'm not necessarily wanting to learn how to create an object from scratch (not yet at least) but rather using models/assets already available to create my own scenes that can then be rendered into a background as a base.. So I'm seeking someone who is experienced in making backgrounds in blender who would be willing to do a little beginners course with me. I will pay for your time and expertise. I'd love if we could do this through discord with screen sharing. If you have experience in creating backgrounds in blenders and interested in offering your services please note me examples of your work in blender and we can discuss a schedual and cost!
Preferably someone who speaks english to make communication easier.

I am saddened to hear about the news of Dragoneers passing, Sean was far too young to be gone already and was failed by the healthcare system. Years ago I spoke to Dragoneer personally a few times, he was always very supportive, kind and encouraging. He geniunely did care about the community, I can imagine running a website with thousands of users can be stressful, but he took the time to respond directly to many users despite having a team of people who could do it for him because it was important to him. For those of you who might not know, Dragoneer is the owner and founder of Furaffinity. A place that has brought together the furry community since 2005. A safe site for furries to post art of all kinds without ridicule and judgement. An opportunity for artists to start their careers and a place where everyone can exercise their creativity and showcase their characters and creations. Furaffinity has really been the pillar of the furry art community for so very long and that is all thanks for Dragoneer and his overseeing of the website and its development and stability. So for that I am forever thankful for Dragoneer and the opportunities he gave to us all when he developed this site just for us.
With his passing the future of the site is uncertain. I remain optimistic that the team that surrounded and supported Dragoneer will do their best to keep the integrity of the site flowing. That being said, I think its important I share my other platforms just in case:

Hi everyone! Happy Valentines day <3 I know I am late, I was a busy bee the past couple days
I feel like I have been neglecting updating my furaffinity via journals lately, that's because I am typically more active in my discord server.

But I understand some of yall might not use discord or like being in servers so I need to start being more active on my furaffinity.
Another thing I have noticed is that Furaffinity is lacking engagement, its not the same as it was even 5 years ago! It makes me a little sad that so many of us have become so quiet and makes me wonder whats happening? Do any of you notice this as well?

I guess onto my updates!
I want to thank all of my clients for being so patient and understanding with the current wait of my queue. I am working on art full time and I would rather take my time to create beautiful pieces/characters for you all rather then rushing pieces to get my wait times down, I am always putting 100% into my art, even if that means it takes much longer then I anticipated, that being said, I am thankful that all of you have been so patient and I do apologize that things seem so slow.

I am trying to learn new things to improve the quality of my art, not only that but I am working with an injury to my drawing arm. I have been dealing with pain / numbness in my right arm for quite a few weeks now, I've been hoping for it to go away on its own and that I just strained or pulled something but since it has persisted this long I'm going to be going to get it looked at by a professional.
I dont want to self diagnose, but I am concerned about a blood clot or a slight dislocation. I was born with limbs 2inches longer then the should be for my torso, which means I am prone to dislocations, when I was a child I dislocated my shoulder more times then I could count, I dislocated my knee 3 times and my back once, but I haven't dislocated anything since I was in highschool (over 10 years ago lol) The feeling reminds me a lot of the feeling I got in previous dislocations, but I have full motor movement of my arm.... so I'm not convinced its fully out of joint but potentially just not in a totally correct placement. Because of this, art has been a bit slow. I am still working 5 days a week and treating it as a full time job as I should! I just have been having to take extra time to ice my arm and a few more breaks then I would like. I feel very guilty about this but I promise I am doing my best to be as productive as I can.

I love drawing and creating, so I am very thankful for all my wonderful clients and watchers who support me in this journey. I am optimistic for my future and excited to learn Clip Studio which I recently received! It surely should help me move out of the stone ages of Sai 1 and improve my art and efficiantness. I no longer will have to draw a circle like 6x before I get it right since clip has tools for that LOL I wont need to spend 30 minutes drawing all the details of a rope or chain cause there are pens for that! I am really excited and think this program will help me streamline my art without losing any quality. My artwork is so slow because I do nearly everything by hand and not utilizing the tools that have been created for artists with these new programs. My current program is like 18 years old LOL

In regards to life updates unrelated to artwork,
I am happy to let you all know that Timber has been seizure free for 8 months!!!! Not a single episode and he is recovering sooo well. I am seeing progress in his mental clarity improving every day! I was even able to take him off one of his medications and we are fixing to reduce another.

Personally, I am striving to be more present in my social life. I noticed I was being a bit of a recluse and isolating myself, my social batter is so small and in response I often just do my own thing by myself. I have been trying to spend more time in calls with my friends and engaging with my community <3
I also have decided to cut ties with some people in my life who I would consider "The friends who actually hate you" lol I so badly wanted things to work with people who just didn't actually like me or at the very least didn't care about being my friend, so finally letting go of that and it has been such a weight off my shoulders.
