I know I have been absent for quite awhile, but I'm thinking about hosting some YCH auctions or commissions featuring my dracon pups in case anyone was interested. I am still very new to this, and I am still working some of these kinks out.

I might also make one featuring Kaa- or any other snake of your choice! If anyone has any suggestions, leave a comment on this journal

Rules:
Do not bid unless you can afford it! I know things come up and I don't want anyone to put themselves in financial strain because of this.
I will leave prices and the rules again in the posts when I make them.
If you win the bid, payment is due in 24 hours, and I will send out an invoice for payment. If payment is not received, and/or no explanation is given, the auction will go back up and bidding will continue.
The bidding will go on for 3 days, and at 6PM MST on the last day TBD
AB and minimum bids will be included in the art when posted.

Commissions are open, and if anyone is interested in getting one please don't hesitate to reach out! My limitations have changed and I am definitely more open to drawing more.

I however, have found myself in a very big pickle. I need to make at least $6k to pay off some big medical bills, and I need all the help I can get.

I know I have been incredibly inactive here, and I am sorry for my ghosting.
But, I find I am ready to take on commissions again, though I am only going to offer sketches and some line art options.

Long time no talk! It has been several years since I've been active on here, and... dayum I am behind.
So I am trying to get my butt back in gear, and might be taking commissions again. I should update my gallery with some of my new stuff I suppose- but I might also just take requests for sketches or something.

So I'll be retiring this version of my blue pup fursuit until I can maybe get a new one. It's seen a lot of use, and while I wont be retiring the character, this suit is just a little too old.

I wont be selling it, I just will hang on to it for the interim.

Sorry I didn't really make a new journal until almost a week after the con (and just a couple days before NDK)

I lost internet here at the house because xfinity decided to do things. Supposedly itll be 'screamin' fast now.

Anyway! So this was my first year selling in the artist alley at a convention... and it didn't go...super well. I know it was my first time, and I wasn't sure wtf I was doing, but honestly I think it went so poorly- in terms of artist alley.

First off the con itself was great and exciting. Got there thursday night, got my badge friday morning (like, 15 before check in for the artist alley) and was off. I set up, had a banner which to me was exciting, and was all set up.

Well, the weekend went...not great. at least not from a selling standpoint for me. Im not blaming anyone, but to those who didn't go, the artist alley was separated from the dealer's den by... a lot it seemed. and the artist alley shared space with the headless lounge. It seemed like the only chance people saw us was by accident looking for the dealer's den or by going into the headless lounge. I wont lie being in there got me a chance to get a lot of fursuiter's pictures (SunnyDingo for one, Telephone for another) and several other's with super cute designs I'd never seen before.

Other than that, I was kind of disappointed. I know I didn't have any furry specific art, and my table didn't like, blow up or sparkle, but I was really hoping I'd sell a lot more than I did. Lot's of comments about lack of furry/feral art, or 'Im not gay but your art is cool'

So... yeah. Will I give up, no. Do I almost want to? Yes, but then again why give up after one try.

Do I hope that Denfur will listen to the comments, yes. Do I hope to get into the artist alley again with a little more to offer? absolutely.

I just got a buttload of prints and proofs made with CatPrint, so Im hoping for good things.

Next year I signed up for teh artists alley at two conventions in August. Ive never had a table by myself but its been something I've wanted to do for so long.

I just dont know how to prepare for it, like how much do I take, where do I get high quality prints of my work, etc.

Does anyone know? Or have some pointers for a newbie like me?

Omg what a fun con!! Wow!!!

I was there the whole weekend, and man I had such a great time! I was in suit almost the entire weekend (I was dying by the end of it XD) but good lord the interactions with people, and the kids, and augh! I loved it.

If anyone else was there, and got pictures of/with me, Id love to see them!!!

So this coming weekend, June 30th through July 2 I will be gone to Denver Comic Con! My first comic con ever and I'm nervous.

I wont be selling or anything, but Ill be cosplaying again for the first time in...like...6 or 7 years, but I feel like the character will be...really out of place X'D

But Im excited, Im really re-working the costume and looking forward to running around in it.

And WOW what an awesome convention! I met a lot of other furs that I am happy to have as friends now (I cant tag them all I feel like theres so many) and just had a really fun time.

Im hoping that a meet up or another convention will be coming up soon in my area, so I can make it down and meet more friends!

Also, if anyone was at RMFC, and got pictures of a particular blue puppy with the spider mark, I would love love LOVE to see them!

I'm an artist that is struggling to understand what I am doing wrong. Artists that are friends of mine are extremely successful, open commission slots, and have no issues filling them in an hour or so. I feel like I have to...beg for people to commission me. What am I doing wrong?

Am I really inconsistent that people don't want art? Am I not drawing enough of what people want? Or am I just not drawing enough? Am I drawing the wrong things?

I know this is kinda...really whiny, so I'm sorry, but my confidence in my work is really...wavering when I do post something, something I think is really cool, or demonstrating something new I learned, etc etc, and it gets no attention. My confidence isn't the best as is, so I'm really trying to figure out what I can do to make my stuff better, to make all of this work out in the end.

Sooooo...after two years of sadness of not being able to return to conventions, I am very excited to say I will finally be going toooooo~
