It's been a while since I openly advertised commissions, and a while since I've posted anything on here.

Most of my commission requests have been private by request, so I haven't been posting those, and I've been busy with novel-related stuff that I haven't had much time for random stories or other continuations I wanted to post here. I hope to fix that soon.

Anyway, commissions! With a convention coming soon, I thought it'd be nice to have a little more spending money than I do, so I've decided to offer a small discount.

For a limited time, I'll be offering commissions at $7/page. If I really like the idea, I may even knock off an additional dollar a page. I'll be offering these with a quick turnaround, hopefully within 1-3 days of starting.

Yep, that time of the year again. ^_^ Unfortunately I get to spend mine being sick. Life just wants to kick you in the shin sometimes.

So, yeah... That's a thing. I know some people don't like when I don't tell them, so everyone gets to know. :P

I've got a number of stories in the works that I just need to get off my lazy butt and finish, so I hope to do that soon. Work lately has just been draining all my motivation to do so. I haven't had much luck finding a new job to alleviate that yet.

In addition I've been working on other things related to my novel. Book 2 has been delayed much longer than expected due to various IRL issues, but I hope to get that one this year and possibly Book 3 as well.

Anyway, that concludes this update.

Well, it's that time again. Time for the obligatory New Year's journal!

So then, Happy New Year, everyone! 2018 was certainly something, but this heck of year is finally over.

Here's hoping 2019 is a good one!

Sow Anime Expo will be going on next week. Still haven't decided if I'll attend the Pre-Show Night/Day 0, but I will be going every other day.

Oh hey... It's almost that time of the year again.

In other news, I'm still working on various projects. Sequel to my novel is still being edited and I'm working on the third one, as well as the novel I'll be focusing on AFTER finishing the current series. The series also has some other things involving it being worked on, but that info will come at a later date.

Another project I'm working on is a table top-style RPG. It was originally meant to be a group project that quickly became a solo endeavor when the others bailed, but I still want to do it and have been slowly working on it.

Lastly, I haven't forgotten about stories, such as the Manifold raffle story. That's still being done.

I have decided to offer a bit of a discount for a bit: $7/page.

For those of you wondering what a page entail, I type single-space, 12 pt. font with Times New Roman, Calibri, or Arial font. I average approximately 700-900 words per page. I am willing to shift to double-space later if you'd prefer.

So I was originally planning on attending a convention next weekend, but unfortunately a project at work got delayed so I have far more downtime than I wanted, which also means I'm not getting paid.

I'm opening up story commissions at $10 per page at the moment. I'm offering extremely fast turnarounds. If you commission me, I'll focus on your story and try to finish within a day or two of notice that I'm starting it (on the off chance someone wants an extremely long story, it may take longer).

Well, only 2 more weeks until my birthday. Various anime series are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year... it makes me feel old. XD

Also, I apologize for my lack of stories lately. I've been incredibly busy IRL. I'm nearly done with something and hope to have it up soon!

So I'm nearing the end of writing the sequel to Soul / Link. I've been awfully busy working on it in-between work and my other stories, and at the rate I'm going I'm hoping to finish by the end of the year. As such, I'm looking for volunteers to take a gander at the novel.

Chapters have been undergoing editing, and it's possible there may be further revisions to the chapters that those who volunteer may or may not see. I'm looking for feedback from a small handful of readers to join my friends and family who are also reading.

If you are interested, please comment on this journal. I will not necessarily select you based on the number of people I get to look at it, but you will be up for consideration. I would prefer those who read the first novel considering this is a sequel that references many of the events from the first book, but I will consider anyone who wants to beta read it in order to get feedback from those who might come in at the middle of the story.

Commissions
I've raised my prices a bit to $10 per page, with the possibility of slight variations depending on the story content and length. If I go over the page count on my own volition, I will not charge you. Note that I tend to write in 12-pt. font with either Times New Roman, Arial, or Calibri. Pages are 1-inch margins.


Trades
If you want a story from me, but would prefer to pay me in art instead of cash, that is fine too. Note me with your idea for a story and we'll see what kind of pic I want from you in return for it. I'll do my best to give you a story equal to the quality of your art. I am open for story trades too.

This is another thing I'd love to do. I have a number of story ideas I wouldn't mind seeing in picture/comic form. If you are an artist that would like to collaborating on a comic with myself providing the story, send me a note and we can discuss things. Collabs will be account


I would again like to note that I'm only opening up a few slots at the moment. I don't have a set number. It really depends on how many I want to do, but I don't expect to take more than 3 slots in total at the moment. I may do more depending the ideas.

So I uploaded a new story I decided to write for myself to help me get back into the swing of writing and take a short break from my next novel. My novel's been taking a lot of my attention from other personal stories and stuff you all might want to read.

I fully intend to get back to Digimon Scanners and Knights of Solana eventually. I'm actually halfway done with the next chapter of the former, I just haven't gone back to finish it.

My question for all of you is what kind of stories do you want to see from me in the future? Any particular themes or subjects? A return to certain stories? Would you all prefer more original stories like what I just posted, or a focus on something more specific?

Feel free to share your thoughts and inspire me with random ideas! Heck, you can even make requests! No promise I'll actually write any requests made by you, but if the mood strikes, I may be interested in writing a story idea you provide.

With current VR technology, I have little doubt it'd do anything but suck, but if they could actually put it off, it'd actually make me consider the currently expensive VR headsets. As long as you don't die IRL if you die in-game. XD

In other news, I apologize for my lack of uploads. My writing has mainly been focused on the sequel to my novel, as well as some important things involving the series that I'm not yet ready to talk about publicly. Hopefully I'll be able to get more stories out soon!
