Winning my lifelong battle with depression
Posted 8 years agoMy wife and I recently separated, it was a traumatic time for me. I slowly got ideations of suicide and eventually started dry frying my dad's guns on my head.
I almost loaded the gun before pulling the trigger about a week ago and I was talking to my chosen mother, she called the cops and they stormed in and took me away willingly to the ER.
From there I was voulanterily admitted to the behavioral health unit at the hospital. I spent 6 days there and got proper treatment after being untreated most of my life.
The meds they put me on are working like a miracle. I am experiencing at times true happiness, peace, serenity and a host of other positive emotions that I don't think I ever truly understood before.
It's still very difficult to cope at times and I struggle daily, but I am finally able to cope and I don't feel dependent on sex or cannibis to get through the day and it doesn't cause suffering not having access to sex.
I am still lonely, I still miss sex and all my other problems are still there but it's no longer overwhelming.
I feel like I can live life without pain one day and the pain I feel now feels much more appropriate and is more of a dull ache instead of a thousand razor blades rattling around in my head.
I have hope and its not just on an intellectual level. I want to see my future and help build it.
Feel free to poke me for any reason and if you are in New Hampshire and know anyone who needs a place like where I was I can't recommend the place I was staying enough.
Parkview medical center in derry NH, I am also setup with the Center For Life Management and recommend them as well, they help with services and can help with rent and much more.

Posted 10 years agoI just got an e-mail telling me about their exciting new bags! One is a rolling duffle bag and the other is a messenger bag.
The duffle bag is selling for $99 and the messenger is selling for $70. From the looks of them they are both extremely overpriced. I can easily find a similar duffle bag on amazon for $40-$60 (the upper range is for higher quality then the cheap bags they are selling) and the messenger bag is easily only a $20-$30 bag.
The toys have always been overpriced, but I can see that because they have few competitors and Zeta is a joke making people wait years for orders.
But charging over double what a simple bag is worth seems like they believe we are gullible and stupid. That we can't see these bags are not worth their exuberant prices.
Here is an idea, buy a printable contact sheet, print any logo you want (even their logo) and apply it to any bag you want, you will end up with a much better bag and save a shit ton of money!

Posted 10 years agoLog into the forum and look at the thread in support "orders being made" it's full of people who have waited on average 1-3 years and as long as 5 years.
They are currently taking on more then they can handle in a seriously disturbing way. What tips it for me is that they in no way warn you before or after checkout that it may be that long.
It makes me sad because IMO Zeta has always been so much better then Bad Dragon. BD charges on the order of 3x Zeta's prices for similar designs even after $12 for shipping.
Now I am looking at having $52 in limbo indefinitely. I told them if I can't be guaranteed my order will be in the manufacturing queue within 3 months I will need a refund, and even that is generous because despite the issues I love Zeta and even if I had the money to spend way more then a dildo is worth I don't see any designs I like on BD and I really wanted another kit fox.

Just one day missed business hurts them so badly. These guys have 2 kids and a dog to care for and feed. This business is their life blood.
They have a go fund me up to raise money for repairs. They are real people, real good people. And they are giving out good prizes for donations. I can personally attest to the quality of all these goods he is offering, the tablet is an amazing deal as is Super mario RPG.
$5-A personal thank you letter plus a %30 off a purchase coupon in store.
$6-A liberty silver dollar (he collects these so it's kinda personal he is giving some away)

Posted 12 years agoMy favorite retro game store and my close personal friends are in some trouble. We just had a rather big storm and allot of water leaked into their ceiling and did allot of damage. What's worse is that their rental management company "Elm Grove" is refusing to do any repairs in a reasonable time frame (they say it's going to be like 2 weeks!!!!).
These guys have 2 kids, these guys are the same guys who asked to take us to the wholesale outlet in town to make sure we could have enough to eat. They constantly give us deals even if we try to say no! He gave his gift card his wife gave him for his birthday to the single mother who comes in and barely has money to get her kids 1 game. These guys care about people!
They are offering some creative prizes and I'm sure any amount is greatly appreciated. Even being closed for one day hurts them so much. This business is how they pay their bills and feed their family!
