I’m pretty much just going to be lurking here from now on, if I even get in at all. I have little to no drive to draw anymore. It doesn’t bring me joy.

Posted 8 years agoI've been having the worst fucking time getting myself to draw lately. Still sketching and stuff, trying to keep myself in the habit of drawing but I've been really uninspired and just sick of the whole process.
I have a few zine projects coming up, so I'll be posting some more Jojo works soon. Hope you all like stands because that's all I ever draw lmao.

I'm going to be honest here. I haven't had much motivation or love for my own art lately. Art was once my passion, but the 9-5 grind means I've left it behind. I dream of being able to pursue projects like publishing zines, making short comics, sculpting, casting little monster toys, and maybe even making some fun sexy-time toys for adults. So, I've started this Patreon. I have a lot of ideas, but a boring office job that leaves me uninspired and pays me just enough to squeak by. With your help, I'll have the money for supplies, as well as the focus and motivation I need to finish projects that I've had planned and outlined for years. I'll be able to accomplish artistic goals I've set for myself.
You're probably asking "yeah, but what's in it for me?" Well, you'll be able to see WIPs, high-res PSDs and PNGs of my work, see the pieces I've made for zines before they're released anywhere else, and vote in polls for what you'd like to see me create next! When I get to the point where I'm releasing my own work in physical form, it'll be available to you first.

Posted 8 years agoOf course, now that I've actually put in the time to making a polished reference sheet of Mela, I've gone and tweaked his design in a few places. THANKFULLY I don't have to change much. But getting the time to do it is a whole other thing...
Just a month ago, I got hired on at the company I've been a temp with since August. Also, Fanime is coming up and I'm working on cosplays for that. It's eating up all my time for drawing. Between work, working out, commuting... there just isn't enough time in the day to sew AND draw.
As an aside, my friends have been telling me that Mela would be great for YCH auctions. What do y'all think? Would you want your character getting dicked down by the big guy?
