Temporary delay on commissions
Posted 8 years agoMy laptop internal charger messed up last night and no matter what way I wiggle it it won't charge so I have to go to the computer repair place I guess this week?
Hopefully it won't be too long but if anything else happened I'll let y'all know

I cant view NSFW stuff on this account because it was locked when i was a wee lad back in 2011, even though i'm well over age i never worried about it
but i figured id make an account where i can view my commissioners NSFW references but
my OCD self liked the name better since i've been stuck with Akatsuki-art since i was 10 on various acconts LOL
i'll keep this account up until somethins happens to it to keep the old art up but i'll be moving some recent pieces there and further commissions from this point on

i use a painting method more instead of lineart and filling ETC ETC
it's a lot more fun for me and in my opinion, looks better so i'm more driven to work on pieces <3

i thought i could do it and i thought i was good enough but i cant do anything right im crying lol
i mean ill still do commissions but im probably doing half priced bc my stuff is shit lol
i hate complaining i hate being this way i just dont have my job anymore, im so broke and so much shit has gone wrong in my life the end of this year i cant handle it im sos otryycommissions open forever lol

my job released a schedule without my name and my mom suggested not to say anything since its better to not work at such a toxic place and be in college (failing from it) at the same time so,
im going to mainly focus my money income from commissions if that's okay,
busts are still an option on sale for the holiday season but all the others are available too

its summer now which gives me opportunity to do art (or at least attempt)
this last year? school year? i guess - hasnt been that pleasant but im fighting hard idk
i'm having this wierd thing going on where i dont feel like im in reality, i cant focus, ive had constant neckache and super exhausted no matter how much i sleep and its making me super upset
i dont wanna say its depression, since i have such a fear of it but damn its hard
im gunna try to be more active ((((i say for the 100943r395th time in three years)))

I got thrown off my account and had an error with retrieving my email
I only used 2 emails, blah blah, didnt recognize either and had to email them...
Took three months to finally settle things and im back
im so so sorry and there was no other way I could contact anybody else
like, i only have my info linked to my dA and im never on it
anyways updates:
it's summer for me and im drawing alot more
a bit hesitant to open commissions but i'm 100% willing to maybe do art trades i was very very sick

i still think its pretty ironic how my persona is a doctor
yet im always getting so sick but
this past week was spring break, and i ended up getting an infection in my bladder/kidney/liver area and they werent sure what it was since it all came up negative to a UTI but
they gave me some medication, and they ran a bunch of tests to make sure nothing was cancerous
im fine now! i just wasnt able to do anything all spring break because i was physically exhausted from puking and abdominal pain
commissions will continue, slots will be a new feature soon
if you have any questions or are upset at how long commissions are taking, just note me and ill try to make everything better!
im back in the groove and im super happy about it
things really seem to be looking up for me new job and illness
Posted 10 years agoI haven't been on or working much lately
and i'm super sorry abotu that, despite the fact I have a new laptop and have the ability to draw
and i feel so bad for all the people who commissioned me, to the point i started crying at one point
but i somehow, contracted Hand, Foot and Mouth disease (look it up, its knarly)
I didn't get it on my face or anything but
my hands, FEET THE MOST, legs were on fire and i had hives
to the point that
even drawing made me cry of how much it burned and itched
---- sadly enough, my boyfrienf got it too and he never touched me when he visited me
but this last week was me getting out of it, finally, im all healed except for some skin still healing and bumpy
other than that, good news, I got a job! Since i'm still in school its just a small icecream shop job i look forward to
and I will try to keep up with commissions,
Just i'm going to start a new method

usually when im sick i can work, but
this was really bad, i was shaking like ive never shook before
i shook until i gave myself a headache,
aaaACH it went on for so long, all i did was sleep
but im so glad im better, i just felt normal today, without sick taste and everything once i woke up this morning so work here i come
It seems like everytime i overcome something, another thing keeps coming and bringing be down again, doesnt it?

i just have to get used to windows 10, ive tried to downgrade back to windows 7 but - i'm satisfied at the least
It had a few bugs i had to work around, and everything sees better now !! (kinda sucks despite being a new laptop)
(((in conclusion - dont get windows 10 )))
so tonight im going to work in installing all my drawing program stuff and keep working,
collect all my artwork on a flashdrive i saved and
voiala! BAck to workie as fast as ever!

i'm so happy i finally have a good piece of stress lifted off me,
So now i can focus more quicker on commissions and artwork!!!

and im so so glad i got out of this nasty art block
AND
my thumb is healing slowly but i'm able to work with it without it throbbing every 5 minutes, so i've been drawing my little booty off and having a great time!!!

i got stitches on it
i dont THINK it will get in the way of my drawing, but either way i will ignore da pain and get through it
