Moving Done & Commissions
Posted 12 years agoSo...
After moving a hell lot of stuff, having to wait for the internet guy to come here and install everything, screw up bigtime, then have another more competent internet guy come back, re-install everything, and file a complaint against his co-worker, having my wallet lost/stolen, I'm finally settling down and trying to get accustomed to life in the big city. Away from all the peace and serenity which the nice and green of my previous home gave to me. Ah well. Life is a *bleep*.
Anyway, still setting everything up properly, but letting everyone know I'm up and running for commissions again, if anyone's interested.
Check out http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4351275/ or the info sheet on the main page.
Also thank you to everyone who's commissioned me so far. <3 Really makes me feel happy and confident about my art, and puts a smile on my otherwise pretty neutral and stressed face. So, thanks! <3
Sleepy times now, me thinks. Aaaaah, bed. How I've missed you. <3

Game Review: Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Posted 13 years agoWhew.
This game is easily the most unsettling thing since the Blair Witch Project. Why? Because they share exactly the same characteristics: Watch them alone, at night, in the dark, with the sound on, and you'll get freaked out. Watch them during the day, lights on, with others/while others are near, and you won't understand why people get scared by them so much.
But I digress, let's have a looksie at the different topics:
GRAPHICS
Graphics wise, Amnesia isn't anything special. The graphic detail in the game is nice enough, but that's about it. Amnesia excells at its monstrously agonising use of light and dark. Creepy hallways, dark cellars, misty sanctums, it has it all. The environments look properly creepy and terrifying, even with the light of your lantern. The heavy use of light and dark is part of what makes the game to terrifying to begin with, and it manages making you feel uncomfortable during the entire time just fine. How can you tell? Because you stay in well-lit areas longer than you have to and cast a deep sigh of relief whenever you find one.
Total: 7/10
GAMEPLAY
In terms of gameplay, Amnesia doesn't pull any punches. There's no tutorial level, there's no holding your hand. You start the game, you're on your own. Of course you get the occasional tips and hints, but there's relatively few 'safe' encounters. Your character, Daniel, picks up a lantern early on in the game. Oil for the lantern, combined with tinderboxes for lighting additional lightsources become your most vital resource. Managing your oil well is essential and key to survival. Having no oil means no light from your lantern. Why is that bad? Because of the game's secondary mechanic: Sanity. Daniel's sanity will drop if he spends time in the darkness or witnesses unsettling events and looks at monsters. If his sanity drops to 0, he will go insane and attract the attention of monsters, renderng him exetremely vulnerable. Staying in the light restores that sanity over time. Tinderboxes help you light other sources when your oil runs low, or can nullify the need to use the lantern entirely if you light things tactically.
Like a true survival-horror game, Amnesia has you face monsters. However, there's a slight catch: you cannot defeat them in any way. You must run, hide, and use your wits to shake them off. Monsters will alert the player by growling when they're near, and from that point on, it's up to you to spot them before they spot you. Hiding in the shadows is the most effective way to lose them, but it will slowly drain sanity. Once a monster does pursue the player, though, they must run and hide and shake the monster off. This can be done by barricading doors, slipping into closets and more. Once the monster loses Daniel, it dissapears from the map entirely.
All these factors, combined with crafty use of sounds and random spooky events (your typical doors swinging open, gusts of wind,....) really make Amnesia have a haunting and dangerous atmosphere, even in the safer areas.
Next to its base mechanics, Amnesia is a puzzle game. While the puzzles are nigh-kindergarden level at the start, they get increasingly difficult as time goes by. Not only does this provide a challenge, but combined with the aforementioned factors, the game turns into a nerve-wrecking rollercoaster of navigating through the dark mazes, being stalked by monsters while desperately conserving your oil and searching for your pieces to the puzzle. The only downside is that, while the game does provide you with hints, they diminish rapidly during the last parts of the game, almost forcing the player to consult a guide to advance properly.

SOUND
It's quite neat to see how a game can do so much with such little sound. Every now and again, the player hears unsettling sounds, like footsteps, growls, splashing sounds, roars, women pleading etc,... A haunting tune plays in nearly every area, getting progressively more agressive and stalking as you delve deeper into the game's levels. Upon spawning a monster, the game's tune immediately switches to a very creepy melody, which changes into a high pitched burst when a monster gives chase. Not only to these changes in tunes provide vital information to the player about monsters being near, it keeps you on your toes during the whole journey.
Total: 8/10
STORY
Of course no game of this genre would be complete without at least a basic story. Luckily, Amnesia does semi-well in that regard. While it's in no way a best-selling novel, it fills the role quite nicely. While roaming the levels, the player picks up notes and diaries, slowly piecing together the events that led to the protagonist's current situation. The use of flashbacks and small cutscenes is also seen abundantly, giving you more and more of the story's details as you progress. Not until youve been in the last few levels do you finally have the whole puzzle laid out before you.
Total: 7/10
CONCLUSION
Amnesia is a game about immersion. The developers created this game to creep you out and give you scares beyond belief, and they managed that incredibly well. Before you start the game for the first time, the developers even advise you to play it at night, lights off, headphones on and gamma just right, for better immersion. It goes without saying that if you play this game without heeding this advice, you'd effectively ruin it for yourself. I don't advise this game to any of the faint-hearted or easily scared. Perhaps you could play it during daylight, but then again, you'd be better off spending your money on another game rather than playing this one in Faceroll/Kiddie-mode.
If, however, you're a stout adventurer and insane or bold enough to delve into a world full of darkness, creeps behind every corner, nerve-wrecking hours of running and hiding, and you wanna get a serious test of your nerves, look no further. This game was made to make you look around the corner twice in the dark, and you'll do that every single time after you've completed it.

Game Review: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
Posted 13 years agoKingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
Intro
Just like the title suggests, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is an RPG to be reckoned with. However, it all depends on what you wish to see in an RPG game. Many people have compared it to both Skyrim for its open world and flexible character development system, and Fable for its colorful graphic style. Kingdoms is a game which will succeed in catching most RPG-lovers' attention, yet it may fail to inspire interest in a few others because of its obvious flaws.
Graphics
Graphics wise, Kingdoms is a sound game. It doesn't have the graphic masterpieces that The Witcher 2 had, nor does it sport the graphical abominations which previous World of Warcraft expansions spouted out. Instead, it walks the middle line, with its rich and colorful fantasy world, interesting monsters and fluent character animations. When you initially start the game, you'll notice everything looks a bit less detailed than you'd expect from a game of this era. Yet when you really start playing, you notice how epic some of the locations may look, right off the bat. Monstrous caverns, fairy-infested forests, castles, beach shores and so on. The graphic style of Kingdoms is a little beauty which happily embraces the fine line between 'a processor destroyer' and 'a glitch fest'. The game has little to no glitches or bugs, which is saying a lot. But the beautiful graphics also make the combat look so much more dynamic and epic, and that helps a lot. If you liked the graphic style of Fable and, let's say, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, you'll love this game. If you're only interested in realistic fantasy worlds such as The Witcher 2, you'll have to tone it down just a little.
Total: 8/10
Gameplay
Combat and character progression
At its core, Kingdoms is a full-blooded action RPG. Which is good and bad. The combat system in Kingdoms is one of the best I've seen in an RPG yet. Who doesn't want to be a chakram-flinging mage who can just as easily go toe-to-toe with his enemies and rip them to shreds with daggers? The combat reminds of games such as God of War, where you can combine abilities and attack combos to destroy your enemies with flair. Kingdoms' combat system is simple, but expansive. Any character can equip a shield, without them having to sacrifice a weapon slot to carry it, as they only use it while defending. Defense occurs by either putting your shield up, or dodging out of the way. Fail to do so, and you may get stunned, slapped to the ground, cocooned and more. The character development system reminds a lot of Skyrim. Whenever your character levels up, you gain one skill point to put into such things as Alchemy, Stealth, Detect Hidden loot, Persuasion and so on. Next, you receive three points to use in your 'talents', where you can pick between Finesse (Rogue), Might (Warrior) and Sorcery (Mage). Unlike Skyrim, Kingdoms rewards a player for experimenting in different trees, awarding you with different 'Destinies' that offer special bonuses based on your build. If you don't like your current build, you can just reset all your points for a sum of gold. Want to be a spell blade? Go on. Want to be a shadowy rogue who uses magic? Try it. Want to swing around a massive two-handed hammer while being able to backstab people in stealth? Check. The combinations are near-limitless. It goes without saying Kingdoms' combat and character development system are top-notch and will offer you many fun hours of cracking heads and slashing throats, in a good way.
9/10
Quests and environment
While Kingdoms' interface isn't anything spectacular, it's still solid. The quest system is especially well-rounded, and it helps a lot in a game with loads and loads of side quests. Questing in Kingdoms is simple, you talk to a quest giver, they give you a little story and any additional lore you wish to know, and you set out into the world. You can select a quest to follow, which will then put a special marker on your map. However, any nearby quest you aren't following is also displayed on the map, albeit in a different color, which makes questing a breeze. Unfortunately, Kingdoms really needs its quest interface to see it through, as the quests are more often than not pretty bland and take you through very repetitive environments. The typical 'Slay X', 'Gather X', 'Follow X' are abundantly present. It goes without saying that both the combat and the simple quest interface are designed to make players forget about just how boring the quests are. Some quests however, are different. They feature boss battles, major plot elements, special places, loot and more. While you do see a change in environment later on in the game (when you leave your first major zone), the dungeons typically do not really change around a lot. You have your typical forest, your little town, your typical caverns, your typical ruins/fortress, and that's about it. While the dungeons are pretty and smooth in the way they're rendered, it gets old after a while. Still, the game rewards exploration, with loot piles around every corner. Unlike most RPG's, the loot in Kingdoms is very valuable, as the player can choose to equip anything, as long as they meet the requirements for it, and the loot pieces you get can sometimes even belong to a set. Furthermore, there's special lore stones to be found, and when all of them are collected, the character receives a permanent bonus to their attributes. Characters are mostly forgettable, and even your own personal character is apparently a mute, while all the other NPC's in the game do have a voice. In terms of game play, Kingdoms has a definite flaw all too common in open world RPG's these days: a solid story.
7/10
Story
Kingdoms' story starts out solid and interesting. You are one of the many heroes slain on the battlefield, and you are the first and only to resurrect, effectively making you a Fateless, a person without a set destiny. This allows you to change the threads of fate itself, and you immediately set out to discover the root of all this. Along the way you meet some characters who stay pretty vague as you go on, never really giving out much information. The dozens of side quests that take you off the main plot path are so numerous, you usually need a brief revision of the story thus far, because you just forgot what you were doing by the time you resume the storyline. while the story stays interesting throughout the game, it's still a bit bland. It seems the developers didn't really know what to do with the story they started to flesh out, which is a pity. There's a ton of lore to be found for those who are interested, but the downside is that there's just too much talking and not enough experiencing.
5/10
Total: 7/10
Sound
The soundtrack of Kingdoms is a typical, upbeat and fantasy-inspired combination of tunes. While it can be repetitive sometimes (the same tune plays in each area of the open world forest, and you spend a good deal of your time running around in it), it's never so bland that it starts to annoy you. Boss battles have their own themes, and some quests even have an epic theme to accompany their more serious tone, which offers for a nice change of pace. The combat sounds, voice-overs and more are nothing exceptionally good, but they're not bad either. Just like the graphic style, they walk the fine middle of both spectrums, and they do it well. As stated in the paragraphs above, the only major letdown about the sound is the apparent muteness of your very own character during the whole game.
Total: 7/10
Replay value
With hundreds of quests, thousands of loot pieces and a super flexible character progression system, Kingdoms certainly holds a replay value. Whoever could replay Dragon Age or Skyrim, will probably give Kingdoms another try too. The only letdown is that the quests stay the same, and they don't get any more interesting than the first play through. Normally though, the vibrant and exciting combat combined with all new character progression and accompanying loot should more than make up for that.
Total: 6/10
Score: 70/100
+ Dynamic combat, super flexible character progression, tons of things to do and explore, loot system
- Repetitive environments, story could be better, mute character
Well that was the first try at a game review. :3c Will probably tune it a bit as I go, but yah, that's what I think ~w~ Feel free to react or ask questions~
New paranormal group! Look inside if interested!
Posted 13 years agoSo today, me and
came up with the idea of creating a group on FA to promote the paranormal, both in its spiritual and scientific context.
Given that the broadcast from yesterday had some interest, we decided it would be a good idea to try and get people in one spot to discuss and gain insight into the paranormal in a constructive way.
Ghost hunting, clairvoyance, animal spirits, clairaudience, astral traveling, meditation,... are just a few of the broad range of topics we'll try and cover.
Please keep in mind that we try and keep an open mind, and while we may or may not believe in certain things, that does not give us or members the right to judge others.
We try and use rational and scientific approaches in what we do experience, but we know we can't explain everything with science or technology. As the saying goes: Whatever science and technology can't explain right now, is magic.
If youre interested to discuss and talk about the paranormal, or perhaps get free readings, insight and advice, go and +watch
and give us a shout!
Also, if you happen to be quite knowledgeable within a certain field or topic, and you wish to share that knowledge to teach others, send me or
a PM, and we'll see if we can't get you a broadcast!
Until next time, bye. :3c

Not really, where's the fun in that? One of the key elements of a person growing up is 'exploring', after all. :P
2. Do you have a favourite cheese, if so what?
Egh, not really, but if there's one kind I always love it'll have to be Maredsous. <3
3. Tea or Coffee, if you prefer either which is it?
Both can quite frankly go and sod off. :3 All I need to wake up is a Coke. <3

F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

Probably Warcraft.
8. What's your view on Disney sequels?
98% of them fail since they just aren't made my the real Disney anymore.
9. Given the opportunity, whose shoes would you wee in?
Yours. I already put a whole lot of crumbs in them, so it's the logical next step.

Personality Test
Posted 14 years agoStole this from
jandan :O
Looked like a fresh new type of test, so I took it. :3 Your result describes you in 10 traits out of 90 possibilities, so yeah, is a bit more unique than 'You are one of five possible outcomes'. X3
Anyway, my results:
Passionate
You are in touch with your emotions, and sometimes you react before you think. The good news: you don't tamp down your feelings. The bad news: you sometimes say or do things that you later wish you could take back.
You do not live your life on an even keel; you do not go for long periods without experiencing some mood swings.
Friendly
You would rather hang out with others than spend time alone, and you'd far rather be doing something with your friends than just sitting around. You're happy in a crowded room, club, stadium, or auditorium.
You're not a private person who is ill at ease in a group; you don't view excessive socializing as a waste of time.
Accessible
You're comfortable expressing yourself in words and actions, with no self-censorship. You believe that if someone doesn't like what they see it's not your problem, but theirs. A high score on the "accessible" trait suggests that you have a lot of friends, socialize often, and enjoy rap/hip-hop music.
You don't see the need to keep your thoughts to yourself, or to have a zone of privacy that encompasses only yourself and a small circle of friends and relatives.
Intellectual
You are thoughtful, rational, and comfortable in the world of ideas. People find you interesting to talk to. You're the living embodiment of the saying "You learn something new every day." In general, those with a high score on the "intellectual" trait are employed in such fields as teaching and research, and are enthusiastic about reading, foreign films, and classical music.
You do not avoid abstract conversation, experimenting with new ideas, or studying new things. It bores you to stick to the straight and narrow of what you already know.
Original
You are constantly coming up with new ideas. For you, the world as it exists is just a jumping-off place; what's going on inside your mind is often more interesting than what's going on outside.
You don't feel that the road to success is to be a realist and stick to the program; you never stop yourself from coming up with new ideas or telling the world what you're thinking about.
Poised
You tend to feel at home wherever you find yourself, even in unfamiliar settings, with new people. It takes a lot to rattle you, and when rattled you recover quickly and gracefully.
You are usually not self-conscious or nervous when you're in an unfamiliar environment or with people you don't know.
Warm
You have a genuine interest in other people. You're a natural host, and are always thinking about how you can increase the happiness of those around you. When friends have problems or are in trouble, you're usually the first person they turn to for aid and comfort. Scoring high on the "warm" trait suggests that you are among those who enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.
You don't always say exactly what you're thinking; you don't like the idea of causing anyone pain because of your criticism.
Understanding
You are willing to take the time to find out what's going on with other people, especially if they're in distress. You're a good listener, you don't criticize, and you offer unbiased, respectful, honest advice when it's requested. With a high score on the "understanding" trait, it is likely that you are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.
You don't feel the need to impose your standards on others or say things that, even though true, cause pain.
Scrupulous
You are an honest, fair person. You don't lie or cheat to get ahead. You treat others with respect and hope for the same in return.
You do not feel that you are above the rules that everyone else follows; you are definitely not willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead.
Cautious
You very rarely make a move without first considering the pros and cons and, therefore, rarely do anything foolish or extravagant.
You are not rash; you almost never act before you think and, therefore, rarely end up doing things you later regret.

What it means to lose a father
Posted 14 years agoToday, after a year of fighting against incurable lung cancer, my father passed away this morning, peacefully. He never touched a cigarette, life can be painfully funny that way.
Some of you already knew what was happening, and for those who don't, this is a small journal to update everyone.
Needless to say I won't be online much for the coming time, since, as devastated as I am to have lost a father, I have to prepare all kinds of ramifications with my family. Luckily for him, his suffering ended this morning.
We'll continue to love him as we always have and I know I'll look back at the years we had with pride and joy.
For now, I just want this nightmare to be over, so I'll see everyone when I next see everyone.
Thanks to everyone who's supported me this year, and thanks to everyone who took the time to read this.
P.S.: Please don't post any religious stuff like 'He's in a better place now' in this journal. He knew better, I know better, and it's my wish, please respect it. Thank you.

Help Wolves maintain their Endagered Species Status!
Posted 14 years agoOK, I'm currently very angry with the politics in the US.
That dumbass budget cut is starting to vex me greatly, and now they're taking it out on wolves as well.
If that bill comes to pass, surely most if not all wolves in the US will probably get shot on sight by some extremists or hillbillies who take pride in that sort of thing.
Well NOT today. Follow the link below and please (you won't see me beg often, but to hel with it today), I beg you, fill in the form, send the e-mail, counter this monstrosity. This is pure act of selfish politics, and sorry, politics shouldn't rule science and/or nature.
Must an entire species suffer for the errors a bunch of guys in a suit made, heck no. You all love wolves, we all love wolves, well damn it, we'll defend them!
Act NOW! There's still time!
FILL this in and POST this journal on your page! Help it spread!

What do you prefer?
1: Soft/hard/Cv/soul/unbirth/anal vore?
Certainly not Hard and soul, those are just too fatal and icky. Soft and oral are my fave, followed by CV. :3 Seeing I don't really have nor encounter many female chars, unbirthing is sort of an unexplored area. I3
2: Feet first or Head first?
I'd say definately feet first since many people like to be tickled at the paws. ;3 Plus it's sort of lovable when you can press someones snout or head in with your tongue and then take a nice big gulp to send them on their way, or have the same done to you I guess. :3
3: Mammals, birds, reptiles, or other?
As prey, anything. As pred, I dunno, reptiles seem to look more badass and preddy like. >:3 And also horses for some reason. owO;
4: Pred or Prey?
When you've spent roughly 10 years playing the pure pred you sort of get tired of it. x) So you become a switch, if just to fill up time until you regain your full preddyness. ;3 But I don't mind either, can be an awesomly dominant pred or a loving gentle nom. :3 Really depends on my mood and the person in front of me. X3
5: Unwilling or willing?
I like both. As a pred at least. Unwilling is nice and squirmy and willing is nice and comfy to gulp down. <3 And you don't have to seal them up inside since they won't come out. ;3
6: loving or nonloving (just eating to eat, or for the joy of it)
Mostly loving, unless Im in a really preddy or dommy mood, in which I can reduce just about anyone to a simple piece of food. X3
7: Digestion?
Not in the slightest, as dommy as I can be, I never kill. Even with reformation, digestion is killing for me. ^^; Theres other ways to be dominant or intimidating, and if its purely to reap some nice things for your body from your meal, I'll just make up for it later. ;3
8: Fatal or nonfatal?
Nope, unless its in a story. My own character will never kill someone with vore, no matter what. owO
9: Dark or lighthearted?
Depends again on my mood and who I have before me. ;3
10: Same size, micro, or macro? (prey)
Macros are a bit too godmoddy for me, and micros are cute - but they don't fill. :3 For someone who likes the bellies that come with vore too, those two things aren't really exciting. ^^; So yus, same size all the way. :3
---
Short answer
1: Can you reform your prey? If so, how do you do it? If you are a prey, only, write something TOTALLY random, or disregard. :3
I can, though luckily I rarely have to use it. To put it simply, I use moon magic to revive them just out of my belly, thats all a ned to know. X3
2: Do you like pure preds? Are you one? If not, why?
Depends. To me pure preds don't exist, there will always be one case or person where a pure pred has been prey to someone else, even if it's private, and even if they don't like it. x) Since up until now I've encountered no exception to this rule, I'm inclined to believe it's true. :3) That said though, I don't mind pure preds, having been one for a long while myself. Just as long as they don't retain the status because they feel superior, bigger and badder than everyone else, I'm fine with it. :3 Otherwise it's just arrogance. I3 Reason I'm not a pure pred anymore is because it starts to bore the heck out of you, and I prefered to have an open mind and try out new things. x)
3: Does your pred/prey have powers? What are they if yes? (If no powers, then how do they fight/defend?)
Heh, a few yes. oO Most notably having superfurry strength and speed (always handy to defend yourself or beat people into submission x) ). Next to that, the use of moon magic to fire concentrated beams of moonlight, minor healing, the ability to make clones, teleport short and longer distances, and being immune to any form of digestion or absorption. For the preddy cases, also a nifty use of spatial magic to grant the ability to fit anything inside, however much I want. ^^ Just to give the huge yet preyish macros out there a chance to be eaten too. ;3
4: What does your pred think of willing prey? If your char is prey, are they willing or nonwilling?
Wiling prey is fine, theyre easier to gulp and keep in. <3 And I'm usually willing when going in myself, putting up a fight is lots of effort... and I'm a peaceful wuff - sometimes. ;3
5: Your prey starts begging you not to eat them! How does the predator react? (If you are prey, disregard or write something random.)
I pick them up and enjoy gulping them in, we'll see how scared they are after theyve spent a few hours inside me. ;3 Don't judge before youve been gulped!
6: What does your pred prefer to eat? If your char is prey, tell us if you have a predator preference (macro, macro mammal, dragon, ect.)
I'll eat just about anything or anyone, there's no food chain when you're pred, you are the food chain. :3 And Id still have to say reptiles 'n horses are my favo preds, along with wolves of course. oO
7: Is your pred competitive with any other predator? If your char is prey, do they have contests of who can get eaten the most?
Just about any pred who wants to compete I guess, tough why compete if you can just have a nice gulpfest and enjoy yourselves and your bellies? ;3
8: What sort of prey does your pred hate the most? (taste wise) If your char is prey, then tell us if they are afraid of any kind of pred.
Heh good one. owO; I guess bugs, fish, anything slippery or blubber like, blergh. >w<
9: What is your pred's holding capacity? (how much can they eat?) If your char is prey, disregard or write something random.
Erm, limitless. <3 I can eat hundreds of people of all sizes from micros to giants and still have the same round and well filled belly afterwards. :3 When I eat someone that takes u my entire belly, itll expand to a certain limit hat its comfy to carry and still impressively large. When someone else joins them, the other person shrinks down, along with the new meal, so that both ofthem have the ame mass and size as the first one, keeping the belly size intact. If theres another meal, all three of them shrink to keep the weight and size intact, and so on. So I could eat a thousand furs, and Id be filled with a thousand little micros, probably ;3. As for eating things ten times larger tha myself, simple: the moment something passes my maw it gets adjusted to eatable size. ;3
Perhaps a bit godmodded, but hey, if many people wanna be inside, I have to provide ample room for them. ;3

2. What is unique about my character that you enjoy?
3. What are his/her flaws?
4. What are some changes you would like to see?
5. What would you like to see my character doing in future pictures?

2 years of FA
Posted 15 years agoTime sure flies. o.O
T'is already been 2 years since I came here, and now I can finally compare progress with last year! :>
Let's see if I made any of my goals from last year. o.O
Views: 10225 - Year 1 (5049) = 5176 views
Subs: 293 - Year 1 (238) = 55
Received: 3679 - Year 1 (2513) = 1166
Given: 2945 - Year 1 (2128) = 817
Journals: 61 - Year 1 (38) = 23
Favs: 3117 - Year 1 (1722) = 1395
Watchers: 404 - Year 1 (254) = 150
Watching: 166 - Year 1 (107) = 59
Hmmm... well I seemed to have succeeded in one of my goals. x) Post less but decent art. Still a bit quiet it seems, not too much comments given this year, drats. o.o And it seems favs have risen from an average 6 to an average 25 a piece, so perhaps this is finally proof enough to myself to say Ive improved. XD
Anyhow! Next year's goals...
- Post more comments
- Watch more people
- Keep the average or increase it
And we're off to year 3! :D

I'm a horrible person and you better get used to it! x) The price of living a fun life: score bad on meme tests! xP Rofl (Oh and I totally blame my bad influence friends in return for they are the sons of the devil. Kidding, I think.)
1 year of FA
Posted 16 years agoThat's right, I've lasted over a year! D:
^^ Needless to say I've seen and experienced a lot here, and I can hardly imagine a whole year has already passed. x.x
Ive made some great new friends, discovered improvements for art and writing, faved adorable and beautiful pieces of work, and I intend to keep on going. ;)
Also, this would be the appropriate time to say thank you to all my watchers and favers/commenters. Please don't feel ignored if I don't reply to your favs or comments sometime. x) I watch every single comment and fav, but most of the time I'm just too busy to go and say thank you for every single note I get. x.x;
But yeah, thanks to you all - you keep me going! o>
Now (not to brag, not in the least) I'm going to paste my statistics here, so I can review them in one year from now and see how well I've done for Year 2. x)
Year 1:
Subs: 238
Received: 2513
Given: 2128
Journals: 38
Favs: 1722
Watchers: 254
Watching: 107
There, that's all for year 1. :O Now let's wait and see how year 2 will turn out. ^^ My main goal is to post less while gathering more positive attention, watch more people and leave more comments. x.x;
Peace out!

Fursona meme
Posted 16 years ago
1 - Do you and your "fursona" look alike?
We share the same colours (I have really dark brown/black hair and idem eyes), he's taller (6 foot 3 or something?) and more buff than me. His personality is right on the spot though, we're practically twins on that level.
2 - Do you and your fursona share attires
Yup, though I don't own any black spiked leather collars. XD
Next to that, he wears clothes I (would) wear, mhm.
3 - Do you share the same sexuality as your fursona?
Most think I do, but not really as far as I know.
4 - If you hadn’t already made your fursona look like you, if you would to change how he/she looked like to make him/her look more like you, how would you think he/she would look like?
Make him shorter and less buffed. A bit shorter hair as well.
5 - Did you work hard to develop your fursona? What is the (brief) history of your fursona?
He kind of popped into my head and was based on an artwork I once saw. Though the pic was feral, his face and colours inspired me to change it all into a wolf I would love to look like, and tadaa. <3
Then he started to appear in stories and after a while he started to create a history for himself and was really 'crated' as my fursona. ^^e
6 - Do you and your fursona share relationship status?
No clue. But sure.
7 - Do you find yourself jealous or upset if you get paired with someone you don’t like or your partner does?
I haven't got a rotten clue what this has to do with anything buuuuuut... yes? :s
8 - How would you like your character not to be used?
Hard vore, death, humilation, torture,... anything that makes him look weak or unfriendly. -_- Those that do will have hell to pay. :P
9 - What’s your fursona’s specialty?
Vore, strength, speed, surfing, being there for friends,...
10 - At a score of 1-10 how much are you and your fursona alike?
8 - shorter and less buffed. x) As for the rest we're practically the same person! oO Oh and lets not forget Daze is BI and I'm not. x) Rofl. <3
How powerful is Daze? oO

lionbreed (Second today, wow lol)
This is a quiz you can use to find out if any OC of yours is over (or under) powered.
Can your character... (Natural abilities)
...take a huge beating?
Try all you want, he/she'll be just fine. +1
No, but he/she is pretty durable. 0
Nope, he/she is about as durable as cardboard. -1
...survive huge falls?
Yup. Perfect landing every time. +1
Yeah, but it'll hurt like hell. 0
Nope. *Crunch* -1
...breathe underwater?
Yep. As long as he/she wants. +1
No, but he/she can hold his/her breath for a while. 0
Breathe underwater? He/she can't even swim. -1
...fly?
Like an eagle. +1
No, but he/she can jump very high. 0
Nope. Doomed to walk the earth. -1
...regenerate?
Yup, in the blink of an eye. +1
No, he/she heals normally. 0
Nope, wounds take forever to heal. -1
...sense presences around him/her?
Sneak attacks are impossible. +1
No, but he/she has enhanced senses. 0
Nope, not at all. -1
Is your character... (Physical attributes)
...the descendant of a god/legendary hero?
Yup, he/she has the power to show for it. +1
No, but he/she is pretty strong. 0
Nope, just an ordinary being. -1
...extremely strong?
HULK SMASH! Erm... Yes. +1
No, but he/she certainly isn't weak. 0
He/she can barely lift a sword. -1
...extremely fast?
He/she is capable of record-breaking speeds. +1
No, he/she is kinda quick though. 0
*Huff, huff* Wait... Up... -1
...extremely wise?
He/she knows just about everything. +1
No, he/she is of average intellect. 0
Nope, he/she is pretty dumb. -1
...the most powerful being in the universe?
Yep. Nothing stands a chance. +1
No, but he/she is certainly up there. 0
Nope, he/she is pretty ordinary. -1
Does your character... (Special feats)
...know the answer to every problem that comes up?
As quick as a flash, yes. +1
Nope, it takes some thinking. 0
No, he/she usually needs help figuring things out. -1
...annihilate everything that decides to screw with him/her?
Yes. Very violently. +1
No, but he/she can still kick ass. 0
Nope, he/she just isn't good at fighting. -1
...win every fight he/she gets into?
Yep. How big is that win streak again? +1
No, he/she has lost his/her fair share of fights. 0
No, he/she either never gets into fights or rarely wins. -1
...ever suffer from an injury?
Nope, never. +1
Occasionally. 0
In pretty much any fight he/she gets into, yes. -1
Now, add up what you got and see what applies to your OC:
0 or below: Pacifist
Your character either never fights or really sucks at it. I can understand if you're trying not to have an overpowered character, but give him/her a bit more power.
1 to 5: Average
Your character is pretty balanced. He/she has both strengths and weaknesses.
6 to 10: Powerful
Your character is perfectly capable of handling a fight. He/she may be a bit overpowered, so a little adjustment might not hurt.
7 to 15: Overpowered
Sorry to say, but your character is probably overpowered. You're probably gonna want to give him/her a few weaknesses or tone down a few strengths.
Daze: 5
Hmm, sounds cool.
I did give Daze superhuman strength and speed, back from his Guardian apprentice days. ^^ After all, he’s a pred, he needs to be physically superior.
And I also made him one tough fighter, not impossible to defeat, but still insanely hard to. Not because I like being overpowered, but because I hope to avoid fights like that. XD
Nevertheless, he usually doesn’t use his skills, but he will indeed go and destroy anyone who tends to piss him off, mostly by vore means, of course. x)
Just a little piece of info, lol – don’t piss Daze off. oO”
Personally I had thought he'd be a 6+, but apparantly not. XD

… if you wish to post this in your journal, it’s been requested that you title it “I’m afraid of __ out of 72 common fears”
If you get more than 30, I strongly recommend some counseling.
If you get more than 20, you’re paranoid.
If you get 10-20, you are normal.
If you get 10 or less, you’re fearless.
People who don’t have any are liars
There's some oddball fears in here, but I guess some of them are phobias (spiders -_-).
So yeah XD I can't stand spiders nor deep sea and sharks and all that. Heights freak me out too. o.o

A vore magazine
Posted 16 years agoA while ago,
nocturnewolf thought of a neat idea.
As some of you know, his character Chase and Daze work for the VRP, a magazine revolving around vore.
He suggested we could make a 'real' magazine, complete with drawings, articles, lay out and whatnot.
Now, needless to say, this can't be done by only the two of us.
Hence I'm making this journal. Does this idea sound appealing to you? Would you like to contribute art and/or articles, ideas and whatnot to making the VRP magazine real?
If so don't hesitate to say so, we're looking for artist and 'journalists' to help us make this fun idea reality.
At the moment we're working on the base and details a bit, but help and support is greatly appreciated. ^^ We'll see how it goes, I guess.
That's all, enjoy your days! <3
