Google plus
Posted 14 years agoHave had my Google Plus account for a while now, and I have to say I love it. Its like facebook, but without the BS, like getting your account deleted for going by an alias (i.e. furry name) instead of your real name.
Like anything google, it integrates seamlessly with other google accounts/products, but also other sites/accounts like yelp, twitter, foursquare. No needing to post things to your picasa web albums and then to your profile, you can link your picasa strait to your google plus account
for those that have or get a google plus account, I would have to recommend you get the 3rd party redirect in order to share it easily... just go to www.gplus.to
here is my google plus for those that want it. I've been with google long enough and get enough visits and all that i get in on all the things early, like Google Business which is about a month away (not sure if thats gonna be beta or the public release in a month). So if you can't just sign strait up and you need an invite to get on google+, just let me know and ill see if i can shoot you an invite. As a side note, PM private information on how/where to send invites for security reasons.

Furry WoW guild on Zul'Jin (US) - Horde
Posted 15 years agoCasino Murr (www.casinomurr.org) is a guild for furries and friends of furs that play WoW on the US Zul'Jin server. We believe in friendship, fairness, comaraderie, teamwork, progress, & always having fun in a furry Semi-Casual raiding & social guild.
We like to be a close knit family, while still having a strong desire to see the end game content the game has to offer. We understand that life has priorities and the RL always comes before a game, but we take the game serious enough to work hard to get to see all the content available and to progress as a group, not just individuals.
If you are a furry, or fur friendly, this guild is for you whether you wish to be strictly social/casual with your playing WoW, a serious raider, a PvPer, or something in between or a mix of those.
We have all 6 guild bank tabs, tabard, Ventrilo server, and fully featured Website/domain that has support for item hoverover tooltips etc. Please visit our Website for more information or to apply. You may also contact Casino Murr's Guild Master, Akhanu Husky, via one of the many ways listed on his profile.
Zul'Jin is extremely active, has good economy, wide range of total new players to seasoned day one players, and the balance of alliance to horde is much closer than most servers (about 2.5 alliance to horde as apposed to the normal 4+alliance to horde on most servers).
Note:
This is guild is a reroll / transfer of my original guild i created (Roll Hax) on Medivh - Horde - (US). The server has started to die, and the economy along with it due to an over abundance of gold farmers. I plan on having this guild just as good as what i did before i took my extended leave when Roll Hax was 5th on the server raid progression wise on the horde side, and we had over 230 accounts with over 400 characters in the guild. Hope to see you become guildies.

Well i've jumped head first into the fandom & loving it.
Posted 17 years agoWell, I doubt many would read this, let alone care, but I am excited. I found the fandom at the end of October, and realized I have been furry all my life. Following are the general details of how I found out about the fandom and realized that i'm a furry.
Honestly the first time I ever heard the term furry was in the CSI episode. Yeah, go ahead and laugh, but I liked that episode and saw right through what negative spin on the fandom there was, but I still didn't realize the real existence of the fandom, or that I was furry.
Well a while back, an online friend of mine asked me out of the blue... "Do you know what a furry is?". I told him that I didn't, because at that time I didn't recall the CSI episode and hearing that term before. Well he didn't go on to explain anything at that time, and being it was mentioned so briefly, I totally forgot about the incident until later.
About 1-2 months later, I get a message from the same friend of mine online, who was very happy and excited. When I asked him why, He explained to me that he had just gotten the feet to his fursuit delivered. I asked him what a fursuit was, and he explained, which really piqued my interest. He went on to explain his fursona to me, this time explaining what being furry was to him and in general. Well I was enthralled, so I went online and did a little browsing and BOOM!, I found the fandom.
What happened next I can only describe by saying that I had an epiphany. All my life I have had interests and quirks about me that I didn't understand, and in some cases know if there was a name for. I found the reasons and names for all of those things in the first day or two after finding the fandom and realized that I have most definitely been furry all my life. I just hadn't realized it, or found the fandom until that time. When it came to all the art and pictures etc that I had, I never quite figured out why there were so many styles in my collections. looking through it, I realized, it wasn't that I liked fantasy art, or sci-fi art, or anime etc as a style... everything in my collection was furry, and THAT is why I liked it!
Well I jumped headlong into the fandom and I am not looking back... I love it. I am registered for Anthrocon09 and reserved my hotel. At this time, this will be my first con. I know that is a big con and a huge step, but I am sure I want to do it, and I have been properly warned about things I need to avoid.
Since finding the fandom, my contact list is growing nicely and i've even managed to find some local furs to hang out with. I don't have any specific (commissioned) artwork yet of my fursona yet, but that will change. One of my friends sent me an email, giving me the avatar I have here, for which I have permission from the artist of the original picture from which the icon was made. I plan on commissioning some work of my fursona that more accurately portrays what I have pictured in my head.
So with that in mind, If you are an artist that does anthro art digitally and you would like to have a shot at my fursona as an avatar, general artwork, a conbadge, or any combination thereof, contact me on IM or by email. My contact info is here on FA.
So thats my story of how I realized I was a furry and how I found the fandom. My wall of text is over, I figure since this is a journal, large enough developments regarding my furry life will receive entries here. For those of you that have commented, watched, contacted, or befriended me since I found the fandom at the end of October 08, I thank you.
