Posted 13 years agoOHI. Yeah I'm still around, just not on FA much anymore. The truth is I prefer the organized layout of DevianArt. The uploading process is easier and it's nice that you can keep your art sorted into specific folders. More often than not I post my stuff there then forget (or am just too damn lazy) to post it here. When I do it all ends up getting posted at once in a huge lump and I'm sure that's annoying for some people. So in short I'm not sure when I'll get around to "catching up" here. I apologize right now for messages I haven't responded to etc, I simply haven't been checking this site. I'll see if can catch up to everything soon but just as a heads up you have a better chance of getting in contact with me via DA now.

After FA reset everything I couldn't remember my pw or the email I had used, since my account on here is pretty old now. e__e Finally figured it out and updated everything. I have a crapload of new art to post on here, I'll get around to it eventually. Anyways, I'm back. Hooray. :D

Posted 14 years agoThings have been so busy but I'd like to get some sketches in tomorrow and monday, since I'm staying home for the fourth to comfort my furkids while everyone else sets off fireworks. Just a few to start with. I have a lot coming up soon, such a busy summer.
I'll start with two. First come first serve. Please note that since these are free, they might be just sketches or they might get inks & colors, it's a surprise! Also please note that I "scan" stuff with my right now, so there's sometimes a glare. I can usually make it look okay though.

I might add more if I get into it enough. Any type of fursona is welcome. Feral or furry...even human, although I'm not as good with humans. New Futurama...
Posted 14 years agoI got to watch the new Futurama eps when they replayed them at 11. I had a love hate relationship with the first one! For a short while in this ep, the characters were all turned into GENDERLESS WONDERS! Leela: "my girls!" XD This made me lol but also hit a nerve with me! They were all agenders. asexual. There were no sexual hormones screwing with everything, just pure LOVE & FRIENDSHIP. and oh yknow, HAPPINESS. until Hermes and his wife who's name I always forget had to complain that they missed sex. Damn them. )X TV needs an asexual character...and the girls looked so cute WITHOUT their uh, "girls"! They were all so neutral. I loved it. YEAH! A friend of mine and her cousin did this. My friend did the story and the chameleon painting, her cousin did the rest of the art. Simply amazing artwork, and a powerful, important message too!

This is my fav movie, ever. I haven't seen it on the big screen since I was about 9. The summer it came out, I saw it so many times in theaters I actually had a competition with a friend of mine to see who could see it more in one week. ROFL. The characters, the songs, every quote...so familiar...and so many memories. This is my childhood. I can't friggin WAIT...to see king!

Dog Parks, Comics & Earth Magic
Posted 14 years agoJust thought I'd ramble about my day yesterday, just to annoy you all. :D We went to the new dog park, which is much closer to the house...this is a huge plus. The only thing is this park also seems to be much smaller, we were there for almost two hours and we were the only ones there! Save for right as we were leaving, when ONE other person with a rottweiler turned up. The pack had fun romping around together though, as you can see in the recent pictures I just spammed my gallery with. After we took the dogs home we went to the health food store to browse for vegan stuff, and found some EPIC vegan cupcakes. Drool worthy, seriously.
Went to Acme comics, where the nerd in me came out with full force as I searched through box after box of comics for "Dark Shadows" stuff. I found some, but comics of the 90's remake series, not the original series. Pwnsome nonetheless that I even found anything from that show, but the original is so much better (the newer series makes Willie into a dirty, unshaven Igor stereotype) I also found some oldskool Lion King trading cards there! Some are from Art of The Lion King, seriously love my Scar concept art. So pretty! I was having a major nerd day and almost had to be forced out the door from that place.
After that we went to Subway, where we got vegge subs (on Italian bread, which is their only pure vegan bread) and snuck in our own vegan cheese (win). Then we ran in Target to see Sana at her new jorb...and it seems, had we got there just just a little earlier, we would have caught Dennie aka Cagey, too! Damnit. I blame my comic obsession. Sana made me a special soy/vegan latte sample at her workplace, since she had to practice making stuff anyway rofl! LOVED it! Then we went to the Riverfront's "Festival to the Heal the Earth" event, which was slow at first but after they got started the music & prayers were all very cool. We also found out about another pow wow type event coming this August, so I'm looking forward to that too! There's another pow wow coming up next month too: "Return to Pimiteoui" on June 11th & 12th at Sommer Park. I think that's all I have to say for now, ramble!

1. I have four dogs, a cat, three guinea pigs and six rats. Two of my dogs came from local shelters, the other two came from neglectful/abusive situations. I always adopt/rescue my furkids.
2. I draw stuff...yeah! amazing right? I prefer traditional materials and rarely if ever make computer art. OLDSKOOL FTW.
3. I'm a vegetarian of ten plus years on the verge of being vegan.
4. I love traditional, hand drawn animation. Balto, Lion King and Nimh pwn the crap they make these days. Some cgi animation is okay (Pixar makes some awesome stuff) it's just that in most cases, I prefer pencil to paper.
5. I'm an animal rights activist and protest fur, puppy mills, etc and so on whenever I can. If you enjoy wearing fur, mounting innocents on your wall or cropping your dogs ears...yeah, best not to talk to me. I can get scary defensive and emotional about animals. Although I do try to act peaceful most of the time, I would totally make an exception to vegetarianism to gnaw on a tasty animal abuser. ketchup? :)
6. I'm an asexual lesbian confused whatsit. The honest truth is, most of the time I'm VERY asexual. I'm a 26 year old virgin and PROUD of that. I have NEVER dated anyone, of my own choice. It's just not my thing. I am somewhat more attracted to girls, but I would never have sexual relationships with either sex. Just the way I am. I hate when people try to convince me there's something "wrong" with me. I'm quite happy the way I am, thanks.
7. I love canines. Dogs and wolves are my fav animals, although I love ALL animals. I just have a special thing for canines.
8. I'm somewhat of a gamer addict. Love me some WoW, along with numerous online games...far too many for me to list them all. You name it, chances are I'm on it or was on it at some point.
9. Alright I'm running out of things to chatter about now...my main fursona is a wolfdog, but I also have a mutt persona and a little rat.
10. I have ocd...and insomnia...and paranoia...and drink too much soda....and and...okay I luv U buh bye.

A truly WONDERFUL friend of mine made that for me, I love her SO much for it! It's of my main fursona (wolfdog) hugging a pig plushie (to symbolize animal rights/vegetarianism) with plushies of my mutt & rat personas in the back. Though my friend doesn't have a FA account, I just had to share this. :)

Posted 14 years agoRandom ramble, the new season of "Merlin" starts tonight. In about three hours! I LOOVE that show. Honestly, it's the only recent (non cartoon that isn't from the 90s) tv show I have watched for quite a while. Most shows on today are crap (except for "loltoons" like family guy & south park, haha)
I really enjoy Merlin though. So much so that I'm sketching Merlin & Arthur as anthros. Watch for that soon, just not too soon! I have my hands full with free art commissions to get done. The first two are completed now, aurag & chuchianci's are sketched, in addition to another req I have from a friend of a friend. So many arts, I'm lovin' it (stole that mcdonalds, stfu)

Inspired to do some free artz
Posted 14 years agoSo, I'm sort of inspired with what 
just did, what with taking free art requests and all. It sounds like fun! I'm only taking 5 to start with so I don't overwhelm myself. Just pencil sketches (unless I get really into it and push for a full ink/color) so if you'd like a sketch of your character, get on board! Please, just one character per person.
PLEASE NOTE: I won't get my scanner until the 14th of this month, so I'm using my camera as of right now. There's usually a glare/strange angle. I'll update all artworks after I can scan them properly.
PS: To my packmates on here, you get free stuff from me all the time so this is for my watchers/people with fun characters that I haven't had a chance to draw yet. Whee :D

So, I did a New Years artwork that I JUST managed to get done in time to ring in the New Year. I had planned to post it here at exactly 12, but got too tired. Shout out to my friends
...you're all in it :D Watch for it at some point today, along with a couple other things I've been sketching. YEAH more anthro dogs. SO?
I'm half tempted to do commissions but I'm thinking it's better to wait on that until I get my scanner. My art "camera scans" are awful and don't do the work justice. It's frustrating. However, should have a scanner by the 14th (when I turn 26...DAMNIT. Why can't I turn 8)
Anyways. Keeping myself focused on artz for now.
